Lots of kids, noisy. If you're with a family it is fine but expensive. If you're with adults there are better places in Collingwood. The food was very good.
Awesome time for my girlfriend's birthday couldn't have asked for better.
The restaurant was good but our server Michelle was rude ( it made the experience of going to this restaurant for my anniversary a complete disaster) fortunately the restaurant manager once aware of the situation took over. I was in awe by how mean and rude our server was, to be honest I have never felt so uncomfortable, it is hard to believe she works in the service industry when she clearly acts like she hates being a waitress
Here are the reasons why this rating is below average. We were given the "Evening Special Menu" and waited 20 minutes for the waiter to return - only to be told the special was no longer available when the group ordered it.
The main course took over 30-45 minutes to arrive. We were never asked if more drinks were required. By the time the drinks arrived, we were finished our main course. The waiter took the drinks away even though they would be thrown away.
2 ladies did not eat their main course as the ribs were extremely fatty - this was evident as the food was left on the plate however the waiter never questioned/asked.
I would recommend this restaurant again as we had a very pleasant experience previously - I think we just got a bad waiter on this particular visit.
Came for my wife’s 30th b day. Checked in, the person at the front said happy birthday to her which was so nice. I asked for a nice seat because of the occasion and they placed me next to the kitchen. Horrible. Our waitress was a little spaced out. Which is fine it was busy. I worked in the industry I know how it can get. She didn’t wish her a happy birthday. Asked for opinions on food. She said calamari entree was your staple and main famous dish. My wife decided to get it. Guys I’m Greek, this was blasphemy. The bowl was a bunch of hard half way steamed veggies. Two small pieces of calamari. Over cooked rubber shoe soles swimming in 1 litre of butter. No seasoning no oregano. Nothing. It was like the calamari was a vessel to eat butter. 0/10 for sure the worst thing. I had the gnocchi rib steak. What ever it was. Seemed like 6 oz of meat 3 pounds of cheese and 4 pieces of green gnocchi. My wife’s Italian. Once again, blasphemy. Anyways, we ate like 1/4 of our food. Asked for the bill. No birthday dessert was presented. Not even a gesture to pay for her drink. Bill came in full value. Over priced for the level of service and quality of food. I’ve already told 9 people not to even book a rezo for an appetizer there. Just an overall underwhelming experience. Place is beautiful but you place a 30th birthday for two people next to the kitchen!? Come on people. This is supposed to be a special occasion for my wife and y’all tanked it. We actually went and grabbed a burger at a pub cuz we were starving. Couldn’t wait to leave. 1/10 cuz the drinks were half decent. That’s about it. Stay clear of this place. Spend half the money at a pub, promise you it would be a better meal.

Service was very slow. It took about 15 mins for the front of house to notice people were waiting to be seated even though it was empty inside. The food is overpriced for what you get although the portions are big. No fresh black pepper or grated cheese were offered after our pasta dishes were severed. It took another 10-15 mins to get someone’s attention in order to request this.
Beautiful space here in Blue Mountain Village! Dinner was delicious and portioned very well!! I would dine here again.
O&B hits the mark on all levels.
The one area I would say they could work on is keeping the wines in a controlled temperature environment.
Our service was very slow to start. We sat for 15 minutes without anyone stopping at our table and many walking by as we were near the bar. It was also an awkward table because there was 3 of us at a 6 person table. We requested a new table but we were told someone would come by and it took another 5 minutes for someone to give us water. Food was very good except for the desserts which were not made in house. After we ordered 2 desserts they brought us 3 desserts (because of the delay in the beginning) and then paid for 2 of them. Seems weird that we didn't get offered the 2 free desserts before ordering. Instead we got an extra that we ended up paying for?? Probably because we had 2 different servers throughout the time we were there. Level of service has some room to grow with that caliber of a restaurant.
We had issues with the food. More than I have normally experienced, however the front of the house staff were excellent in dealing with the hick-ups we had. These hick-ups would have normally ruined my experience and I would not be at another O&B again, however the staff expertly navigated a well travelled foodie. This is not a place I would normally go, but my kids wanted to go. Michelin plate for service (if there was such a service ranking). I guess we will watch Disney’s Ratatouille tonight!
My family enjoyed the food it was OK I had the beyond meat burger and it was very disappointing dry no flavor and thinner than the usual beyond meat product.
Was looking forward to coming here for lunch to celebrate 3 of our birthdays and it was a little disappointing. It asked in the booking what we were celebrating which I don’t understand why since no one did or said anything to us about our birthdays. For the food, My friends burger came out with the wrong toppings and burnt, another friend of mine had the Mac and cheese which he said it was bland a dry at best. I personally had the grilled cheese and Caesar salad which was very tasty, I would have given it another chance on that alone however, our waitress towards the end seemed to have gotten irritated with us. There was 5 of us and we requested split bills, now, I am a waitress myself and I understand it isn’t the easiest thing to split bills as I know it can be complicated and time consuming, however, she got 3 out of 5 correct right away, then tried to fix the other two bills (which was only a matter of switching the dessert). If she had just clarified with us we could have told her how to fix the bills easily but she did not ask and progressively got agitated. She then didn’t even fix the bill and my friends just paid the opposite bills (which isn’t the biggest deal) and even with this I would have given this place a better rating and probably another try. What really upset us was as we were walking out I apologized for being complicated and our waitress then said “bye that was the worst”. As a waitress myself I do get frustrated with tables but I could never say that to a table at my job and make my customers feel as though they were “the worst”. It isn’t as though we were rude to her at all and for us to be told we were the worst made us feel unwelcome to ever come back here again in the future. It’s a shame because the atmosphere was very nice and I would have liked to come back to give the dinner menu a try.

Had to ask for service on Valentine’s Day. Manager came over and served us. A very polite and efficient individual. This saved the day for us.
Valentine’s Day dinner. Service was above and beyond, the Valentine’s Day meal was delicious just overpriced for what it was..... but I’d get it again :). The noise level with music was overwhelming at time’s but I wasn’t yelling at my Valentine too much. The temperature was frigid! Everyone that we knew or talked to in the place was freezing as well. Granted, it was -20C or so... but we’ve been there multiple times and our complaint is it is always cold. My Valentine has to wear her jacket the entire meal and I knew to wear a sweater on a thick shirt.
When we made a reservation on OpenTable there were only 2 choices; 5:45 and 8:15pm. When we arrived at 5:45 there were many open tables and, in fact, the restaurant was never full so we could have eaten later. Salad came quickly but it sat on the table for over 20 minutes despite many servers walking by. The manager saw what was happening and made sure the table was cleared. Was very impressed by her efficiency. Food portions were good but the calamari main dish was a bit bland. Server offered to rectify it and gave me a latte which was appreciated. Nice setting but can get a bit noisy. Overall I felt the experience didn't justify the steep prices.
We tried to book for 7pm. No availability so had to choose between 5:45 and 8. While we were at the restaurant, it was 3/4 empty.... Why we couldn't book our desired time, I don't know.
Arrived at desk at five min. early . Awkwardly stood and waited in hotel lobby for ten min. while prepared table. As I said the restaurant was empty. Table not ready?Not invited to wait in bar. Very young hostess prepared to show us to table. Menus were snatched from her by an older woman and she showed us. Felt for the young woman trying to do her job.
Sat at table for ten min. Waitress one brought water. Took drink order, waitress two came and took food order. Salad delivered by waitress one. Salad plates not cleared. Waitress three brought food. Awkwardly shoved salad plates aside while balancing meals. Waitress two returned and said oh food came! Ribs were delicious, cornbread, dry. Burger was disappointing, fries were good. Nobody checked on us, waited for drink refills, noone came. Waitress one frantically cleared table beside us, rattling plates and dropping cutlery. Nobody came to that table while we were there, but it was frantically prepared. Disruptive.
To top it off. Waitress one and two both brought bills to the table. Ha ha... we used a $100 gift card, bill was short of $100 by a few $. No change given? Hopefully the vast number of bumbling waitresses shared the remaining $ on the card, as well as the bills we left on the table. Honestly, it was a disappointing experience. Also had to sit with coat around shoulders as the windows are sooooo cold.
Couple who gave us the gift, frequent your Toronto locations, and have been very happy. It will be awkward to tell them of our Blue Mt. location experience.
Nice location in the village. We were seated near the door and it was quite cold. Found the prices high.
There were a lot of loud children, unfortunately.

Terrible service with a rude server. Not surprising though, they charge a gratuity and so the servers have no incentive to work hard. Very disappointing.
We had a great server named Courtney and she made us feel very comfortable.
George the manager gets special kudos for making sure our service was exceptional.
Very cozy, great comfort food options and attentive service...one piece of advice is NOT to be seated near the fireplace unless you are wearing summer attire - it gets HOT!
My Fiance and I took our entire family here to eat right after I had proposed and the staff and service was amazing. It was also my parents birthday the day before and they brought out dessert for everyone. 10/10 service and food were really great.

Our waiter was phenomenal. So nice, knowledgeable and attentive. Only wish our steaks was a better cut. Wine, dessert, salads and other mains were excellent.
Great location and view. Food was good as was the service. Feels like they could do more in the plant-based options category (especially given the owner/ operator) - pretty slim pickings.
We booked a table for 5:45 pm, early for us, because apparently it was fully booked from six pm to 8pm.
However, while we were there, the place was half empty.
My friend and I ordered beers, and a pizza and caesar salad to share.
The first thing to arrive...the pizza. This is put on the table by another waiter...but we don't have plates and we don't even have our drinks yet.
While the pizza is cooling, we manage to get plates. This is sloppy service.
And the pizza was not up to par...a few pieces of arugula on top...not a lot of taste.
The caesar salad also not to up to standards...missing parmasan and taste.
All this being said, we had the same meal 10 days previously , on a Saturday night, and it was very good.
I was dealing with a bunch of dietary needs and they were so happy to accommodate me. My meal was served as beautifully and deliciously as everyone else at the table. It was 1/2 off bubbly so the girls shared a bottle. I got sparkling water served in a flute so I was feeling pretty much like one of the girls. It was a great dinner and our waitress (I wish I recalled her name) was top notch. Our waitress knew how to make my experience as memorable, if not much so, than everyone else. It really is the little things that make the difference. Little things can be so big.

Wedding Anniversary...the food was Amazing, delicious and so much flavour our taste buds were singing!
From the Caesar Salad (which I ate the whole bowl) to the jalapeño cornbread with jalapeño butter to the bbq ribs, couldn’t get enough of this as was so tasty. Thanks again to all.
We left after an hour with no meal served. The restaurant was 99 percent empty. Would never go back
