The tuna tataki was disgusting. Tasted like it was pre-prepared and sitting in a fridge. I should’ve sent it back. The cocktails were decent, other appetizers okay.
The location and patio are fantastic but unfortunately the dining experience the last two times I’ve been there have been poor. And multiple items were ordered on the menu and almost all were sub standard. Even though the location is great, if they don’t do something about the quality of their food, they will lose clientele (for dining).
Amazing dinner and great waiter and staff, we will be back for more!
The ambience and service was great, as were the coctails! A couple of the bowls were so so, hamburger rare, but the chicken was a winner.
Restaurant was beautiful in how it was decorated, very clean. Washrooms were private. Staff was very friendly and our server was probably one of the nicest and most helpful servers I have ever encountered. The food was delicious. The restaurant was very quiet when we got there, but got busy quickly. Did not feel at all rushed and was able to enjoy my dining experience. I would definately return there and recommend to others.
Our food was a little underwhelming. Service was great though.
Had the fish and chips, excellent, portion size perfect, was there for happy hour, great price for a 9 ounce wine. That made me happy. Atmosphere was lively and vibrant for that early time.
Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at the O&B Grill. Food was plentiful and tasty. Our server, Tarren, was so accommodating and very knowledgeable about the food offerings and wine pairings. He provided marvelous recommendations given our personal likes/dislikes. He couldn't have been more helpful. All and all a great experience!
A bit noisy but we were seated in an open area, I'm sure the booth seats would be fine. We enjoyed our meal and the service was excellent. The bathrooms are spotless, lovely decor but there was no hand soap. All in all a great location to meet up with friends as it is near all public transportation.
We had a pleasant supper, good service, very tasty food. We had lots of time so lingered after. Very nice environment.
Excellent staff and service. Background music too loud and definitely not for dining!
We had such a great night on the patio with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere.
Great meal and wonderful service.
We were eating between trains at 3.15 pm so knew it would be a strange time for customers but the staff were very good.
The food overall was not worth the value and did not live up to the reputation of it being owned by a "MasterChef". The "crispy cauliflower" was mushy top and raw - perhaps they were going for crunchy instead of crispy - stem and the lime aioli was no more than a glob of mayo with lime zest. The crab and cod cake itself was passable however they put the coleslaw on to a hot plate which meant it wilted and was warm. The best part - the jalapeno "jus" was difficult to access and was mostly absorbed into the coleslaw. The cheesecake wrapped in phyllo unfortunately should have had the cheesecake frozen first, then fully wrapped in phyllo and deep fried but the way they cooked it, the cheesecake came out mushy and also warm-hot. None of the food was what I would have expected. On the bright side, the waiter was very kind and attentive and suggested my new favourite Sauvignon Blanc!! Keep him but please do a refresher for the chefs. Thanks
Food is always excellent. Finally had a chance to enjoy the patio which is beautiful and comfortable.
Pre concert nibbles ! Calamari and Green Healthy Pizza were amazing!
Great spot - easy walking distance to Scotiabank centre
Pleasantly surprised. Food was better than I expected and price less than what we thought. Atmosphere was cool, trendy and upscale.
Service was quick and pleasant.
Delicious food, attentive staff (416 Rum Punch ▪︎ superb). A night out with girlfriends before the concert was well spent at O&B. The portion sizes were a bit smaller than my first visit though.
Fantastic service, Great food, always a joy to come to this establishment
Great food! A bit disappointed in that we were there for our 1st wedding anniversary (which I mentioned when making the reservations) and nothing was done. Normally at other restaurants there is a little cake or something brought out to celebrate the event as a nice gesture. Just thought it would be done here too and it wasn't :( Those extra little touches go a long way.
We had dinner at OB on Thursday, August 15th. The weather was overcast an cool, so we decided to sit indoors. That was a mistake. The air conditioning was working overtime, the wooden chairs had no cushions, it was like sitting on a block of ice. We told the server, but nothing was done. So we had our dinner quickly and left.
Restaurants should take into consideration that not all their patrons are men wearing suits.
The food was good, but we couldn’t really enjoy it since we were all frozen.
Very great overall. Service excellent.
It was my first visit and last. The service was good. The food was another story, I ordered the steak super bowl and was excited for a fresh and flavourful dish, but found it bland and cold. I wonder if that is actually the way this dish is presented or mine was the mistake?
The location patio is very noisy from the traffic on Yonge St. Very disappointed in the eclair. Stale over sized pastry and the peanut butter and grape jelly were quite tasteless. The rest of the food was good.
Service was outstanding!
Had a great evening!!!
Nice decor. Good service. Decent food, but poor presentation. I ordered the spicy sausage rigatoni, and while it tasted fine, it was served in what I’d categorize as a cereal bowl. Not impressed.
Everything is always good and consistent.
We decided to do brunch and went to OB. It was good. Only issue was the price of 2 eggs, 3 stripes of bacon, 2 sausages and potatoes $17, I could understand the other plates we had which were unique. Also a coffee $3.75 same as an orange juice was a bit over the top. Server was pleasant.
Great meal on the patio. Our waiter was attentive and provided us with our meal suggestions, which were a hit.
Menu has a something for all tastes. Server was excellent. Gave knowledgeable recommendations and was very pleasant. Checked in with us a couple of times during the meal to ensure we had everything we needed. His banter was funny and brief (and appreciated). We weren't rushed. All in all a great evening with our friends.
Very enjoyable meal in a relaxing atmosphere. Thanks for making it an enjoyable evening watch Michel Buble concert.
Sat down for 15 min on a hot patio and not a single server came by and offered water or took our drinks. Even the waitress serving the table next to us didn’t say a word even though she had cleared their dinner and brought their cheque and machine to pay (3 visits to the table next to us). There were only 2 other tables on the patio as we had a fairly early seating at 5pm. Do not recommend service there. Can’t comment on the food. Management was nice in trying to resolve but we certainly weren’t staying. Try e11even instead a couple blocks down for an amazing menu and service.
We waited over 10 min for our latte but the dining room manager got it for us to take out without charging it. That changed our whole view of the restaurant and gave us the experience that we expected from this restaurant. He made our experience worthwhile!
Attended Michael Buble concert. Service was excellent with a tight timeframe to get to concert venue.
Amazing service. Will definitely come back with family or friends
Not much selection and our server seemed to have other things on his mind other than serving our table
Pasta was very dry, and not very flavorful and it was a special that evening which didn’t leave a good impression.
The quality of the food and speed of the service was most impressive. We had the mahi mahi, lamb, and crab cakes. Thank you setting the right tone for a wonderful evening!
My friend and I were in Toronto to attend a function at the Sony Center. I wanted to find a restaurant that was nearby so I went online and booked Oliver and Bonacini. It was a positive experience for both of us, although the music was a little loud for our liking. However, the restaurant was clean and pleasant, the service was excellent and the food was presented well and very flavorful. I would go again and would recommend it to others with no hesitation.
