We had a wonderful brunch at O and B yesterday. Service and food were excellent. My one concern was accessibility. The two steps in the hallway made it very difficult for my friend who needs a walker. She could not have managed these steps independently. It’s wonderful that it’s very easy to park underground and come to the restaurant by staying indoors.

Hi Verena! Thank you so much for joining us. We are so pleased you had a great time. We do have an lift that we use for that area. It can be a challenge for us to know if the guest is arriving via the back door as our host stand is in the front. However, if someone notifies us we can absolutely provide assistance. Warmest Regards, Oliver and Bonacini

Lovely brunch for special occasion - lots of families and friends getting together. Food was mostly great, portions are generous indeed, coffee could be better which matter more at brunch!

We asked for a quiet table when we placed the reservation and were seated accordingly. The staff were amazingly friendly and helpful and showed up at or table with perfect timing even with a packed restaurant. Wonder of wonders - we delayed leaving so we could chat longer and were welcome to stay as long as we liked.

We made a reservation a week in advance on Open table . When we arrived we were seated by the door which had a cold draft every time someone opened the door. We asked to move but only high top tables available . I had the shrimp noodle dish which was quite tasty but was only just warm so I assume it has been sitting somewhere . My husband had the salmon / sushi bowl which he found very dry and could not finish . Our server spent very little time at our table never asked us for a second drink not filled up the water glasses. Not a friendly server unfortunately .

Menu isn't as upscale as it used to be, but food was pretty good. Service was particularly helpful and friendly. Great location if you're going to the theatres across the street.

We request d a quiet corner as my friend has hearing problem. We got a perfect table and the waiter was super friendly and patient with us, after we were chatting away for over 3 hours.

Server was great. However, we did not like the food. Apps were okay but mains are way over priced for what they are. Not to mention, the tables are so crammed we did not have space for bags/ jackets. Restaurant was very loud and not at all cozy or intimate.

Food was great and excellent service, prices are average
My only disappointment was with the 'empanadas' , the stuffing and the chimichurry were really good but the crust was hard , I love empanadas ! but the crust did not honor the chorizo stuffing, should be lighter and more fluffy , try Peruvian and Chilean empanadas at Kensington Market

Thanks!

As always food was yummy! My issue was the service was super slow! We did go at lunch downtown so no surprise it was busy but it seemed like everyone around was getting their food except for us! We had to actually follow-up because it took 40 minutes for our food to come out after our apps! We think someone forgot! And we spent our entire visit having to find and call over our waitress outside of the drink order.

I was surprised and disappointed with our experience at O&B after having had many very enjoyable meals there previously. We had to be seated in the bar because the dining room was closed at 1:30pm which I didn’t realize but okay. The food was fine but and the server was poor, she was very inattentive and didn’t have a service-oriented manner. She didn’t bring everything we ordered and my husband had to go find her to ask after more than half an hour waiting for coffees. She didn’t offer a dessert menu and seemed preoccupied with flipping her hair and walking around. It’s off-putting in a food establishment for the server to play with their hair and then handle your food and glasses. Very disappointed as we came for a special celebration with people important to us.

I only had one complaint that we received our main meal very shortly after we received our starter consequently we weren’t ready to eat our main. Other than that it was great!

I was surprised the menu offered much less than other O and B restaurants I've been to. This was disappointing. Waited awhile for the bill. Had to put our coats on and signal waiter.

We were disappointed about the smaller menu because it was show night. We have eaten there many times and have never experienced that before. Wish we knew that before hand we would if picked another O and B restaurant.

Greeted with a smile, seated promptly. Service was great they had enough staff to cover the large volume of people..very attentive, gave there recommendations. Food was fresh, delicious tasting and huge portions. One complaint was one of our party had the steak and it came with fries, they would have liked if there was a choice. 2 other in the party had the Ruben sandwich and I had pan tai..both were great.

Food was great and the noise level was fine - my companion and I could have a conversation without yelling. But glad we made a reservation - it was a Wednesday and it was packed!

We went for Sunday brunch. Food, service and atmosphere were all great. It was a friend’s birthday and they gave us a complimentary piece of cake which was big enough for all 6 of us to have a bite or two. :) The underground parking is so convenient and after being validated is $2, a real bargain for downtown Toronto!

The choice of table location was excellent; the brunch menu sufficiently varied to allow ample choice; and the waiter excellent. To be asked to drink cider from a Mason jar was surprising and not consistent with the restaurant's brand. If you have to use Mason jars, give the customer a choice of that or a conventional glass.

Went there for Lunch and overall experience was average. Food was ok, have tasked better fish and chips and sausage rigatoni at other local pubs for half the price. Dessert nothing special as well.

Food was good (calamari, cauliflower and spring rolls, rigatoni), but for an empty restaurant the service was slow / non-existent. Our server disappeared completely (no desert / coffee / after dinner drinks offered once plates cleared), leaving us to continue to flag other staff down, not the end of the world but certainly annoying.

Not very busy for a Saturday night- weird atmosphere. Appetizers were alright, a bit expensive for the amount of food (calamari & spring rolls). The shrimp vermicelli bowl was terrible- sent back immediately. The shrimps were way over cooked and the taste of the bowl was terrible. Server was great and immediately offered me an alternative. Ended up having the 33 burger with sweet potato fries- it was excellent. My husband had a steak and it was good as well. Overall experience was still ok - was unfortunate my husband was done his meal for over 10mins by the time I got to eat. Did not have time to try a dessert. Server did a good job trying to save the experience. Would not return as overall it was not worth it.

The restaurant was not very busy yet there was a problem with our order ( we weren't in a hurry). The one thing that saved the day was that the server was outstanding and attentive and kept the communication upbeat and active. The sweet Potato fries were the best I have ever had and the curry soup was outstanding!
