    The food was just above average - nothing exceptional but we were served by a friendly server. As for the value, we had no drinks or deserts and our bill came to $80.

    Food and service was good. It wasn't very busy the day and time we went. It was a get together so noise level was noticable. We tried to chat but still felt a bit loud inside.

    I happened to mention to the hostess at the entrance that we were having a birthday lunch. It was simple but delicious - a couple of salads - my friend had a beer. Half way through the waiter asked my friend if it was her birthday and she said no, it's next week, but we're celebrating today. Even though we did not spend a lot for the lunch, she was still asked if she'd like some carrot cake or a dessert of her choice, on the house! I call that above and beyond the norm.....thank you to O&B Cafe for the great service.

    Very disappointed and not what I expected. Food was a average and the banquette where we sat had a large tear in it. The server split our prosecco when opening the bottle and should have offered to replace. We were seated in the back of the restaurant,I think that was done on purpose. Pathetic wine list..

    The food is good but not worth the money. The service is needlessly pompous and pretentious and kind of ruins the visit. Why act so arrogant? Just be friendly - this is Canada we don’t appreciate snootiness like maybe some other places.. I call it like I see it…

    All staff, mostly our server Miranda, was extremely helpful. She took every opportunity to walk back to the kitchen to answer my many questions without ever looking annoyed despite how annoying I know I was lol. The food was amazing, the only complaint I would have is the limited vegan options But the rest of my party really enjoyed their food. Despite my limited options I would still go back based on the service!

    Food and service was good, the staff was very friendly and accomodating. We were a group of 6 and they seated us very close to the kitchen entrance, so there was a constant parade of people around us. But otherwise, no complaints, everything was good!

    Great location with fast service and pleasant atmosphere. Noise level is somewhat obtrusive but all in all a great pre theatre dinner option with convenient parking.

    Tagliatelli bolognese: how can this be made so badly? Ragu tasting sauce with really no discernible taste. Wow. Ambience is nice and lively but something has happened to the food here post pandemic.

    We really enjoyed our meal. Nice decor, great ambience, good food, excellent service and a reasonable bill. It's been a long time since a TO restaurant has ticked all these boxes for me.

    Meal was fine but when I askrd for a coffee (a Cortado - which is simply a double shot of espresso plus a couple of ounces of hot milk, the waiter said no, we don’t do Spanish drinks. Even when I said seriously? He said no. When I asked for a latte or flat white, he said no problem. He even said he could do a “Spanish Coffee”. In any case, for some reason he seem to did his heels in on this. Very awkward interaction and silly. It ended up being a good story back at the office.

    I made a reservation thinking I would be provided a nice table but was sat at one that every-time the door opened I got a cold breeze. After asking to move I was sat dead between two occupied tables despite many other tables being available. The waitress was clearly on something slurring her words, and dopey eyes. My friend is a addiction expert and said opiates. She told the manager and he said it’s the hand sanitizer…seriously? He’s not that gullible is he? The waitress recommended the salmon filet and I was shocked, it was dry and flavourless. I barely ate half. Overall with multiple issues, I was not impressed, especially for the price point, $30 salmon.

    We chose to eat here due to its location. Although food was fast and many people constantly asked if we were doing ok, the food is less than stellar. Pizza was extremely salty yet crust is delicious; heirloom salad was tiny and squash was with skin and bottom stem on (had to spit it out) and flavourless; wings were room temperature and flavourless. Value is not there for sure which is surprising as this chain is chef owned? Good place only if location is key.

    I was really surprised to find the food quality was very poor! Service was also not great. As a result, I would not return to this restaurant as value and quality was not acceptable for what we paid.

    Great location but food was just adequate. Sangria rosso was delicious but way too much ice. The service was great and timing of food arriving at the table was great. Did not feel rushed at all. At $150 for 2 I think you can do better.

    Always love O & B. However today, server was pushy, felt rushed and that we were a bother. Not cool. Took high road left 20% tip. However when I go again if I get that server I’ll ask for another.

    My son had the Hunter/Tuffle Burger and loved it so I did not want to give a One Star. My avocado poached egg Brunch item was very poor. The poached egg was cold and the whole toast was soggy and tasteless. The salad was heavily coated with oil and not the least bit refreshing. I should have sent it back however this was a special occasion for my son and myself. His Nanny had died and left an inheritance and we were celebrating her with some of the inheritance money. Oliver & Bonacini is long time favourite of our family. When Nanny visited us from England we always ate at the Bayview address. I still love the ambiance however in the future I would have sent back my Brunch.

    Really great service from the waiter. Excellent food that exceeded our expectations. Appearance is starting to show wear and tear which is not a surprise given the tough times over the last two years that repairs are bottom of the priority list. Overall a great meal and we will be back again. A long time favourite for downtown dining.
