    Gum-chewing hostess. No bottled water. One hour for one steak to arrive. Empty restaurant. There’s better in Omaha.

    Good but not great. $53 for an 8 oz filet and it was just "OK." A bit cool. Baked potato was also good, but a bit cool when served. Two cocktails, one glass of wine, dinner and tip was $150. Didn't feel like i got that value.

    I visited here first in the fall of 2019 on my way to Mt. Rushmore with my wife and brother-in-law . We chose this place at random. I remember the first bite of the filet I had was so tender and flavorful we all agreed the best steak we ever had . This trip in 2023 my wife and I on our first bite in mutual agreement was this isn’t what we had in 2019. It was good but we were both let down from our first experience. The service and ambience was excellent. But am not likely to come back.

    The service by Alicia was excellent and the food was superb – the best steak I have ever had in Omaha. I would recommend this restaurant to any locals as well as any out-of-town guests. A wonderful experience.

    Was in Omaha for the first time ever. Was told this was one of the two best places to go. Food was great. Steak was perfectly cooked and one of the best I have had. It is not heavily seasoned. They let the quality of the meat take care of taste. Our aides were the asparagus and the blue cheese potato. The old fashion was just okay but not great. Was not bust for a Friday night. Walked in at 7:30 for a 7:45 reservation and there were open tables.

    Both Service and Food was terrible for the cost. Had to ask for our menus 10 min after first being seated, gave us little time to make a decision, didn’t explain the menu very well. They had no bartenders so the waiter had to make our drinks. Had to send my steak back twice… first time it was over cooked and 2nd it came out raw. I compared it a Texas Roadhouse but it’s downtown. I heard there was new ownership, from the experience they have killed the brand with bad management. As a matter of fact… there was no floor manager to be found.

    We went for our anniversary and we even mentioned this when booking our reservation. The waiter barely spoke to us, did not offer us any wine or dessert. We had to say can we please have the wine menu and we had to ask what was on the menu for dessert. I don't think he wanted to be working that night. My steak was a filet and it was okay but nothing great. They were out of chokes and cheese for an appetizer and the best part of the meal was the spinach salad and the grilled asparagus. I would recommend Mahogany over Omaha Prime.

    Excellent restaurant from the old style building to tire incredible service. The food was perfect in every way. I would highly recommend it. The one thing you will need to plan on is that you definitely pay for the amazing experience. We had a party of 8 and with all the food and drinks we had a final bill of over $930.00. Just know we did eat very well as well as drink well and finished with extra yummy desserts. Our waiter was awesome. A definitely A plus, 5 star review. A must go when you come to the Omaha area.

    The steaks were serviceable, but not medium rare as ordered, and rather dry. Service was more akin to a New Jersey diner than an upscale steakhouse. Sides and desserts were good. Overall, not a good value for the price.

    We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We asked for a table in the Passageway. It was cozy and quiet, away from the buzz. Perfect! Food was 'close your eyes and enjoy' good!

    The restaurant didn’t seem very popular as we were there on a Saturday night and only saw 4 other tables filled throughout our time there. For a white table cloth restaurant is was interesting to see that no other customers dressed up. There must not be a dress code? Service was fine, nothing extraordinary. Food was fine, definitely not worth the price.

    This is a nice upscale steak house. It is full of character and charm. The steaks and side dishes were prepared expertly. The side dishes lobster Mack and cheese and truffle potatoes were all great. Service seemed a little too casual for us once we were seated.

    Another victim of COVID? Omaha Prime (OP) certainly has gone downhill. Tablecloth had breadcrumbs on it, apparently not changed after previous diners. Filet was tender but dry, not worth $50. No bartender on staff (not just this night), waiter had to make drinks (never a good thing!). Old Fashioned was bland, for $13.50 I expect a "craft cocktail", not bourbon with an orange slice & red maraschino cherry! Waiter was not particularly attentive, even with very light crowd. All-in-all, definitely not worth the $190 tab (before tip). Read another review that OP is under new ownership. Assuming that is true, I wonder if issues (reduced staff, mediocre cocktail, suboptimal steak) are lingering aftermath of COVID, or just cost-cutting neophyte owners in over their heads. Owners better figure it out, or OP will be out of business in a couple of years, tops. Recommend Sullivan's or 801 Chophouse if you're planning a $200 dinner out for two.

    The food was very good. I could have eaten just the brussel sprouts for dinner and been happy. The service was very good as well. I brought my husband here for his 50th birthday and he was very happy with it. We plan on coming back for another special occassion in the future.
