A good wine selection in addition to delicious food. Not necessary but maybe to appeal to larger groups, there are no Italian staples like lasagna or chicken parm. Maybe that's a good thing. Had a very upscale feel and excellent service.

This is a very nice traditional upscale Italian restaurant. As locals, we stopped going for a while because there was a period where they seemed to be short on wait staff, and service was very slow. We decided to try it again after the theatre matinee, so had a 4:45pm reservation. We found an early dining menu and decided to try it. We were surprised that we all enjoyed the menu, food and service. Be aware, typically the prices are a bit high, and the portion sizes very large. The food is well prepared, but as a foodie I tend to prefer more imaginative takes on cuisine. If upscale traditional Italian food with good service and a large wine list is what you're looking for, you'll find it at Ombra.

We had the early dining special which is a great value. He had the veal marsala and I had the salmon dinner, plus we both had the parma ham appetizers plus the profiteroles for dessert. Wow!

Our meal was incredible as usual! Our server was very nice. Tables are very closely seated making it difficult for quiet conversations. We dine at Ombré at least once every visit to HH.

Lovely, lively traditional Italian restaurant! Nice menu with all the classics, and a good, well rounded wine list. My dad recommends the veal scallopini. They were also VERY accommodating to gluten-free requests, which I appreciate as I have a severe gluten allergy. Enjoy!

The burrata appetizer was absolutely outstanding.beautifully presented and scrumptious. Our two veal dishes were very good except both were a little over sauced with the meat swimming in the gravy. We will definitely put OMBRA on or list for future visits to Hilton Head.

We are regulars here. Probably once a month. This is undoubtedly the best restaurant on Hilton Head Island. We’ve come here as 2-8 people 25 times over the past three years, and have never had anything less than 5 stars. Looking forward to our next trip.

We absolutely enjoyed our meal. I grew up in New York City, and I always long for the calamari and spicy marinara that we would get on Mulberry Street the calamari at Ombra was among the best I’ve ever had. The really good calamari doesn’t feel like a rubber band when you chew it and this was really good calamari. It was tender and flavorful, and even my wife who has never liked calamari shared my plate. Great waiter. Lots of fun. Thoroughly enjoyable.

We haven’t been out to eat in a while, and we’ve never been to OMBRA before. This place was better than expected and we were expecting a lot!! We had the calamari as an appetizer. It’s so nice to find someone who knows how to fix calamari!! The marinara sauce that came with had a little bit to it and was very good. My wife had the Alaskan haddock and I had the rack of lamb. Both were superb!! We will definitely be back!!
