Sever was rude and impatient when my friends was asking about vegan options.
Food is mediocre but overpriced. Wouldn’t recommend to anyone.
One restaurant never disappoints. Whether hosting a business dinner, family dinner or date night this place is my go to. The food is exceptional. Every item on the menu is delicious. They are so amazing here even accommodating my celiacs disease and gluten free diet. The lobster spoons and spicy salmon tartare are a must. Treat yourself to the 20 oz t-bone to share w truffle frites, brussel sprouts and potato mash as sides. Literally mouth watering. You can’t go wrong w anything on this menu. It’s absolutely an 11/10!
I’ll be back soon!
I’m a long time patron, and still love the ambience., but the food is not worthy of the prices, and the restaurant is nickel and dimeing the customers. Eg $6 for a slice of bread to go with a $36 salad entree, or $6 for a slice of tomato.
Very unpleasant when a modest lunch for two, one entree each—no alcohol, no dessert—is in excess of $100 before gratuity.
The food here is impeccable as well as the service . Steaks were perfectly cooked. Lobster spoons are my all time favorite! We were celebrating my husbands birthday , and they prepared a special dessert complete with candle . What a sweet unsolicited gesture. Next time I'm in Toronto, it will be on my places to stop at list!
So I wondered when the bread was coming as the food was taking a while, after all when I sat down we all had bread and butter plates with butter knives. Nope, no bread. If you wanted bread we found out into our meal you could order it and pay for it. Hun. When Lobster Spoons went from $26 (with free bread) to $39 with no bread, I kind of have an issue. That is just under a 50% increase in Lobster spoons minus the bread. They have had huge price increases on their menu and there were loads of empty tables. They did honour my husbands birthday with a platter that said happy birthday Jim, had a candle and a cookie about 4 cm wide. Just a thought, how about going around with a bread basket and offering a roll to each patron?
Great spot for Sunday brunch, nice buzz, friendly, competent service and really good food. The pancakes dripping with warm blueberry sauce & finished with cheesecake crumble are divine.
Wonderful annual Christmas brunch tradition
Delicious food, very good wine list, outstanding service!
Great service and food always a great experience there highly recommend
Amazing service - food was delicious and the presentation was superb!
Overall very good evening. ...had ask for a table near the windows and we didn't get it....the waitress was very nice. ....we even got an up grade on the wine because they were out of the one we chose! !
What can I say.......you need to go! Amazing food ambiance
Had the Cobb salid and burger of the day
We’ll be back
Had an exceptional dinner. Great service
The food was amazing as always! The service was slower than usual.
We went to ONE for our anniversary dinner. All of the staff members were really friendly, from the hostess to our servers. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was exactly what we were expecting. I will definitely be back
Wine prices were a joke. 3 to 4 times retail.
Wouldn’t go back. Not that they’ll miss me.
Food and service were great but marred by the insulting wine costs.
Service dropped the ball
Brunch is always wonderful here. Enjoy the food and the atmosphere.
Good food overall. Lovely location. Slow service. Side dish arrived cold.
Took a friend for a birthday lunch and it was all better than good -- lovely room, excellent service, both enjoyed our lunches and, after seeing what others were eating, wanted to try quite a lot.
I stayed at the Hazelton the night before my wedding and the location was the most convenient. The reason I will one day return is thanks to the food and the service. The food was incredible, everything was cooked to perfection and came out quite quickly.
Service was extremely disappointing and it wasn't a busy evening
Simply just love this restaurant and the room is absolutely gorgeous.
The ONE team crushed it!! Right from the warm welcome to the goodbye everything was outstanding. Judith, Jennifer, Chef and the entire team provided a memorable experience. Everything was on point! And WOW what a wine list!!!! Thank You Chef Mark McEwan for your hospitality. It was a special way to celebrate our day before the Taste Canada Book Awards.
Very nice food, small portions at top of the line pricing, not busy on Sundays, so kind of boring ambience wise
I eat out a fair amount both on personal and business and really at all ends of the spectrum - from very high end to food court!Overall ONE was not great. Focaccia was initially burnt and had it replaced. The meal did not really impress me - it was fine but was expecting something exceptional for what are very high prices. My wife had a cracked drinking glass. They were good about it and didn’t charge us for dessert when we showed them. Service was excellent, but food was just ok for us. Just seems like another overrated Yorkville restaurant at least from a food perspective.
Although the food was good, I felt it was way overpriced and have had better meals elswhere.
Cobb Salad wasn’t close to the best I’ve had, chicken was not very well-seasoned and the salad dressing and elements were uninspired. The truffle fries were also a bit underwhelming and couldn’t taste the truffles as much. Appreciate the idea behind it but Service was filled with artificial and unnecessary pleasantries / chatter.
Outstanding service from the moment I entered, delicious food and beautiful decor! Looking forward to my next visit.
Nice staff, very clean, pleasant setting. Food was excellent. Didn’t have too much time to explore different things on menu. It was an hour long lunch and had to order something quick! I’ll be back though!
Good very friendly service. Good food. Very, very loud.
Great food and service. Louder than usual — a bit difficult for a business meeting.
Lovely Birthday dinner
Eggs were over cooked
Above average. Nothing special.
The short rib was dry, dry , dry. For this caliber of restaurant I expect a lot more. I was there for a business dinner, and have to say was unimpressed by the food (the wine list was good). My meat was tough and not well seasoned. I was there for a client dinner so I didn't want to alert the server of this issue. Also, we were not checked on during the meal, nor were our glasses refilled, and I had to go find our server to pay. This is not the kind of experience I would repeat. We had cocktails at the Four Seasons, and I wish we had stayed their for dinner. I do not recommend this establishment.
My friends Bday always the BEST
the food is ridiculously highly priced because of the Yorkville location. $7 for a tea and poor service on top of that.. it is one of the most expensive restaurants in the area and not as good as many.
