   My previous visit to one 18 was nothing short of amazing, this one not so much. I called to add two more guests to my reservation and was told it would only work if we took patio seating, which did not sound like a hardship. Unfortunately they forgot to mention the incredibly reduced menu for both food and drinks. We had two party members who are celiac, and while there were items on the menu that were celiac friendly, they were all appetizers and small bites. I’m sure this would be fine under different circumstances, but we could have gone to a different restaurant if we had been told this. We didn’t notice until later after we had already returned to our hotel, but we were also overcharged for one of the items. We had very slow service even though there were only 4 tables being served. We chose to linger, but it took nearly 2-1/2 hours.

   Our waiter was so lovely!!! He was extremely accommodating and so friendly! It was a great way to start the night for my birthday.

   Incredible experience with knowledgeable staff and delicious cocktails and food. Really a location you can't afford to miss if you're on a night on the Calgary Downtown!

   The server was amazing... and the Old Fashioned drinks were entertaining to watch them smoked and tasted delicious. Dinner was great and the venue is perfect for a group to talk, as many restaurants have music too loud to have a conversation across a table but One18 Empire was perfect. Definately coming back... via UBER so we can have a few drinks.

    It was the best birthday and dinner Even I went there quite early, but my table was ready so we could have the best dinner without any problem! The servers and other staff were so lovely and kind. and the food was amazing! I will definitely visit again!

    Went there for dinner and drinks with another couple. Had a bunch of shareables and really enjoyed them! The duck wings were the winners, the popcorn was a bit burnt but we sent it back with no issues. The drinks were excellent. The old fashions were fun to configure and watch them make. It’s an expensive place, but the taste and quality reflects said price. Would recommend.

    We ate at the One Up Rooftop patio and had a really good experience. Our reservation was for the restaurant, but when we arrived they gave us the option of the patio, and the weather was great so we opted to dine on the rooftop. I had the Summer Sin cocktail, calamari appetizer and the burger, all were fantastic. The tomato appetizer with feta was good, but a bit salty. Service was good, but a bit slow, though we appreciated having time to visit and take our time with the meal. We might have stayed longer if the seats had cushions, but the furniture was adequate. Overall it was a good experience and I will go back.

    Sat at the rooftop patio. The ambiance was o.k. The food however was lackluster and boring with little taste. The service staff need to start doing their job, not just sit pretty. Honestly, I won't be back here. Too many other better options for restaurants.

    We arrived around 5pm for dinner which we'd scheduled prior to an event that started at 7pm on the west side of town. Unfortunately, we waited at a table in the restaurant for nearly 30 minutes without being greeted or addressed by any servers so we walked across the street to Saltlik, where we were seated immediately and served promptly, allowing us to finish dinner and make it to our event on time. On a positive note, I still got the 100 OpenTable points for the reservation! 😂

    Really cool and great place for a drag, appetizers were a good size an were delicious, the steak on the other hand was not, not only was it cold the value and flavour was not there would not order again.

    We went here for breakfast - I chose it because the menu sounded great and it had good reviews. I had the lemon ricotta pancakes and my husband had the Espresso rubbed Alberta brisket bennies. Amazing! Food was well presented and tasty. Nice quiet atmosphere. I would almost call it a hidden gem because I did not realize it was inside the Marriot hotel. If you get a chance, have a wonderful breakfast here! :)

    Excellent drinks. Best whiskey sour I’ve had and the old fashioned was excellent. Service friendly and very fast. The food not great. Flat bread crust disappointing. Popcorn dry and no flavour. Burger just average.

    Firdt time coming here! Food was delicious we had brunch there! The cornbread was yummy! The potato hash was flavorful! Presentation was beautiful the atmosphere was clean, very nice, the server was super nice and friendly. Can't wait to try more from the menu!

    Fantastic drinks and delicious appetizers! The beef tartare and duck wings are two of the he best appetizers I’ve ever had. We tried every appetizer and they were all amazing except for the fried cauliflower. The whisky sour was fantastic. I had 3 for 50 bucks. A bit pricy but they were very good.
