We love O'Neills. The food and service are always top notch. The setting is gorgeous and it's so convenient as a meet-up spot for my family who are coming from Orange county and San Diego. Not our first time and won't be our last!

Wonderful food and wonderful service! Beautiful food presentation. Our server was so pleasant, kind and patient while I was waiting for a late guest. This is the best restaurant in Mission Viejo, hands down.

Went there for the first time and our overall experience was very good. For a Saturday evening, it wasn't overly crowded and they had some nice live music too. Only complaint was the service was a bit spotty.

Beautiful location. It is so tranquil and lovely to sit on the patio and enjoy breakfast. The service is warm and hospitable. My guest loved the California Eggs Benedict. I cannot say the same for the Sasla Roja Chilaquiles. The salsa roja was thick and dry as if it were yesterday’s. The medium fried eggs were so overdone they were rubbery. I should have sent the dish back, but didn’t want the unpleasantness. Shame on the chef for sending this out.

We always enjoy meeting the golfers for dinner at O’Neill’s after their round. Our dinner was delicious as always. Dante was our server, and he is delightful! He is attentive, warm and funny! Please give Dante a pat on the back (or a bonus!) as he is wonderful!

We sat out on the patio for lunch. It was pretty busy, but the service was excellent and it was not noisy. The view from the patio is lovely too. I had a club sandwich, and my friend had a burger and both were yummy. It's a nice place to have lunch.

Great visit as always. For a bar and grill experience at a golf course, this can't be beat. The food is consistently good and the service is excellent. The view is the bonus. Noise level on the patio is low so it's a great place to meet with friends and catch up. When I give this 5 stars, it's for the type of place it is; not for a foody or glamorous experience.

Our server was wonderful!!! He made our birthday celebration very special! He was attentive and took very good care of us. His assistant that replenished our water glasses was very pleasant. The food was beautifully presented, hot, and delicious! We will definitely be back!

O'Neill's is a hidden gem in South OC and a lovely spot when you want to feel a bit secluded. The restaurant features a patio nestled against a greenbelt and a lake with an expansive view of Saddleback valley. Our dinner last night was lovely, I enjoyed the salmon, which was perfectly cooked and paired with faro, green beans, and mushrooms. The service was outstanding and the ambience was just magical. There was a wedding reception on the lawn nearby and we got to enjoy the live music and twinkling lights. It was a lovely experience, well-priced, and great for my nephews who like to run and explore. Highly recommend!

They've changed their menu SIGNIFICANTLY since the last time we ate here. There are still good items, but mostly sandwiches/salads, and only three "meals" on the dinner menu. We were able to find satisfying items to eat for dinner, but were surprised by the major changes to their menu. I guess they decided to serve mainly the golfers appetites, which is probably a sandwich and a beer after a golf game, not a "meal."

We had an excellent lunch at O’Neill’s Bar and Grill. The sandwiches were awesome and so were the fries. We will be back to try some salads- they looked great coming from the kitchen! The service people were hospitable and helpful. Sitting on the patio looking at the golf course made us feel like we were miles from civilization! Kudos to O’Neill’s☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

We LOVE O'Neill's! Having said that, this visit was new for us as we normally go on Friday nights bc we like the music that evening. This time we went on Saturday and the music guy was okay but WAY TOO LOUD, IMO. When I find the music level is interfering with my ability to carry on a conversation with my table mates, its too loud. The service wasn't as swift as normal, ether. In any event, we enjoyed our evening and still will return to this wonderful venue!

One of our fav summer venues in So Cal! Beautiful outdoor patio strung with lights, live music playing in the background, a beautiful view across the golf course with Saddleback Mountain in the background. It doesn't get better than this, folks!

Very peaceful outdoors overlooking the golf course. Our experience was great all around from the host, servers and especially breakfast. I recommend the breakfast burrito and the salsa for sure! Not sure when it gets busy, but I made reservations just in case.
