Very pleasant eatery. Reservation was honored promptly, and we were offered a choice of inside or outside. Service throughout was excellent; server was knowledgeable, friendly, and checked back just when he should, and we never felt rushed at all. Food was beautifully presented and authentic, and it definitely felt like they didn't "Americanize" the food. The mussels were outstanding -- plentiful, impeccably fresh, perfectly cooked, and assertively flavored. The pasta was gently sauced in the correct Italian style. The wine selection was adequate, if rather overpriced. All in all, an enjoyable dining experience.

Very eclectic and interesting decor. We went for a retirement party for a co-worker and sat in the Pope Room after the server said he wanted us to be comfortable and spread out. We had 7 adults and 1 child. He was fabulous! He was the only server there at the time, the hostess wanted to seat us in the bar area, but he was so accommodating he said he wanted us to not be squished into a booth. So he would make the trek from the bar area to the Pope Room just for us. The only thing that I would change is the restaurant needs a deep clean. It smelled of mildew or dirty carpet. I think a deep clean and some fresheners would make a world of difference. Other than that, the portions were great, value was good, food delish, and we had a great time!

Server rushed us, ask if anyone wanted dessert when all of our party did not finish their dinner. Then brought out the chèque when some were still finishing up dinner when he was told we did not want dessert. This is the second time with the same server ! Let’s correct that next time. Wait until our entire party finished dinner to ask if we would like dessert. Then please let us finish our dinner before you bring us the chèque.
