   This restaurant is an absolute favourite of ours — Rob took amazing care of us. He was attentive, fun and knowledgeable. This is our 5th time dining here and every single time we are blown away! Can’t wait for next time.

   Overrated and disappointing. The vibe is more fast food than fine dining. Very, very loud and far too crowded. Diners are packed in like sardines and subjected to loud music and horrendous acoustics. Lots of staff frenetically moving about but long gaps of inattentive service. It really feels like a chain restaurant with the staff in training. Food is uneven. It goes from really delicious to pedestrian. The chef is clearly very talented but the size of the room and/or the concept doesn’t work for him. The family style dining is a rip off with an unbalanced selection. And the cannoli was pretty awful. If you want a decent plate of pasta this would be an okay place but for a good night out avoid it. There are lots of better choices in Vancouver.

    Our table of four all agreed that this was the best meal we had had in a very long time. We had the tasting menu and each plate was a flavourful surprise. The portions were substantial, even for the heartiest eater at the table. The service was attentive and the pacing of the meal was perfect. It was a delightful evening all round. Many thanks.

    Savio Volpe is consistently one of the best restaurants in Vancouver. The food is fantastic, service is always top notch, and it has such a great atmosphere. Very shareable plates making it a wonderful spot for a group. It’s the perfect level of elevated that make it great for any occasion. Will be back, time and time again!

    Great food but pricey. Did the tasting menu which we'd done several months ago as well. It was good but portions smaller than what we previously had. Overall an excellent meal but was expensive.

    Paula was an amazing server we did the family style dishes and she pick and chose our flavour palette for the night and it was spot on! Every dish was a burst of flavour and I never had enjoyed Italian food like that till we dined here! Will definitely come back again and ask for Paula!

    Came here to celebrate our son's birthday. He really appreciate the thoughtful birthday card that was at our table when we were seated plus he was given an extra special birthday treat of ice cream dessert. Thank you for that! Excellent and knowledgable staff. Extraordinary dishes with exceptional presentation. Handcrafted beverages were refreshing. The 4 of us had "alla famiglia" which was satisfying with every bite as it was the previous time. It was a spectacular dining experience from the moment we walked in to the second we stepped out the door. We can't wait to come back.

    We went on Father’s Day for dinner and the Al famiglia selection was spectacular as always. I’ve never had a bad meal here and love that one our city’s best is in my neighbourhood. !

    Go! Amazing food and staff. We went with the family style where our served helped select several courses and it was fantastic. The tortellini with a marrow, potato, and cheese filling was absolutely delicious.

    Beautiful meal and great service. Halibut exquisite, perfect pasta , wine beautifully paired, and dessert -who can say which was better…honeycomb or the smoked brandy cherry gelato. Thankyou!

    Really great experience. Food was amazing, and service was really good too. They knew from the reservation that it was our anniversary and brought us some bubbles as we sat down - a nice touch. Seats are very close together - a bit too close for my comfort. We were seated at a table for 2 and another table for 2 was right beside us (hard to get in and out without bumping them). Also, it was loud as it is small and very busy. That said I would absolutely recommend it and will be back!

    Great service and ambiance of restaurant. Our server explained all the dishes to us and made great recommendations. One downside was it was quite noisy on a Friday night and difficult to have conversation with others at the table. Also portions were on the smaller side for the price paid, definitely recommend ordering a bunch of different things and sharing.

    I was there for my birthday and the staff made me feel very special. We had the tasting menu which was so delicious. They brought me a scoop of amazing birthday cake gelato with a candle which was a lovely birthday gesture. Overall an amazing, delicious experience. I’m glad I chose to spend my birthday at Savio Volpe.

    I want to love this place but I've been disappointed more often than I'd like. My last visit, my pasta was so salty I couldn't finish it and the broccolini was so tough I had to spit most of it out. It was a busy weekday night, understandable--but my drinks took ages to arrive and by the end I just wanted to leave. Super disappointing.

    All the dishes were a touch salty and not very hot. The Garlic Knots were delicious. Restaurant is very noisy.
