Amazing dinner. Great food. Outstanding service. Highly recommend!
Went for my birthday and had a lovely time. A little pricey but worth every penny.
Another fantastic meal at Savio! Highly recommend this spot if you haven't been yet.
Only disappointment was that something on the menu that we wanted to order was already sold out.
Everything I ordered at Savio Volpe was delicious. I still think about the tortelli dish I had every now and then.
Our go to spot for all our special occasions. My wife and I always enjoy coming here. From the front of the house(Romano) to the back of the house (chef Derek) and everyone in between, polite and friendly staff and fantastic food we are never disappointed. Thank you to this special place and their team that always makes us feel right at home.
We enjoyed our experienced very much. We ordered the top sirloin (which was delicious) but unfortunately we encountered quite a bit of gristle in the cut of the meat. The waitress was very apologetic. A few moments later she returned and said that they would take care of the sirloin for us. Overall the food was really lovely and the service excellent. I would highly recommend and would definitely go back to this restaurant! They do it right.
Great food and service. Everything we atr was very good. We did the family style dining but way too much food. Id recommend if a party of 4 and up just do 2 dishes per person...also enough variety too ...would have been plenty.
We all really enjoyed the kale salad, prosciutto , and tiramisu but really everything we ate was great...
Service was great
Thanks for making my dads 87th birthday so great
Savio Volpe has long been a Vancouver favourite: top-notch service, gorgeous ambiance, and perfectly executed classic Italian dishes with a modern twist. This was my third time ordering the family-style tasting menu, and it has never disappointed. The striploin with bone marrow salsa was a highlight! Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.
This is fast becoming one of my favorite restaurant in vancouver. The food is always tasty, especially the house made pastas. Service always top notch!
No pretension with plenty of class.
I had a proper visceral experience.
We really appreciated the service, the pace and the food.
It was a bit salt heavy but the flavours still shone through
My dinner at Savio Volpe was great! I brought my partner for his birthday and we were greeted with a nice card on the table :) we had the kale salad, lamb pappardelle, tuna bucatini and sirloin! Overall I had no complaints about the food, very very good! We ordered a half bottle of the Savio Volpe collaboration wine which was also wonderful, we were disappointed that the price of the half bottle was 1.5 times the price that the server told us it would be - which took us by surprise. I was also told that there would be a birthday dessert for my partner and when the end of our dinner came and a bill was dropped with no dessert I was a little surprised. I had to go ask the server if we could do something, and it kind of took away any element of surprise so that was not great. Overall though, I love eating here - the food never disappoints
One of my absolute favourite restaurants in the city
Savio Volpe was a great dining experience. We were met with friendly staff and our waitress was even more accommodating. She made several recommendations and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the meal. The food was nothing short of amazing and I will definitely be coming back
Took me two months to get a reservation at a decent time on a weekend and it was well worth the wait. Definitely recommend!
Early seating at a cramped table for two when many more attractive locations were available but apparently not for my party of two. Prompt informative service, very good food
The atmosphere and decor were great. Food was overall okay, but the steak was tough and chewy. The server recommended three wines based on the wines I enjoy, but none of the wines were very good.
Great food and service. Bagna Cauda was an interesting appetizer - rich in flavour and not fishy despite being anchovies. Gnocchi was not crispy on the outside like I’m used to - was soft but not soggy. Still tasty. Tiramisu Sundae is a great dessert to share! Tables were really close together and hard to squeeze through without invading the next table’s personal space. Prepare to get cozy with the neighbours.
As ever it is always a pleasure to dine with all of the dedicated crew at Savio Volpe. Highlights of our last meal where the veal chop (outstanding) and the leg of lamb (gone too fast!). We had wonderful success with wine this time around as well. Never mind the giant Tiramisu that was created for our group.... its making a dessert eater out of me! A new experience for me was the Montenegro Amaro.... a perfect finish. Many thanks to each of their team for the attentive service and for the dining experience that doesn't disappoint!
Very interesting menu, fresh, local ingredients and prepared creatively. The food was delicious. The service was attentive and friendly. Excellent experience!
