I came here on two separate occasions and always had the best experience. The restaurant has a very hip and casual vibe where you feel comfortable and at home. The interior decor is absolutely beautiful with a warm feel, and the lighting is just right enough for you to actually see and enjoy the meal you’re eating. The food served here is very tasty and fresh. The one thing that stood out to us the most was the service. All the servers were absolutely helpful, friendly, and patient, which made you feel welcomed. They were always attentive to us and never made us wait.
If you’re wishing to celebrate an occasion, or to just have dinner, this place will be a great choice to help you have a wonderful experience.
Overall a great experience. Service was wonderful. Waiting over an hour for our reservation was the only downfall and the only reason I’m not super impressed. Again though, service was wonderful and communication regarding the reso before hand was also great.
I felt very rushed through dinner. We were not given enough time to enjoy our cocktails and appetizers before main course arrived, and then felt rushed again out the door.
Our server was lovely. It was also wonderful to be given comped drinks for our anniversary (from the manager/hostess?) Always a great experience. Food was spot on delicious.
Just perfect every single time. I come here with my family for every family members birthday and we always do the “let us cook for you” option; it never disappoints. The only feedback I would give is that the wine menu although well chosen, is a bit ambitious. I think the glass size and price are on the steeper side of comparable spots. Overall I couldn’t recommend the Savio Volpe dining experience more - It’s consistently excellent every time!
Portion of the dish is too small for the price.
Quality of the food not very consistent.
Such a great place and well priced! Menu changes every day so its always good to come back!
Perfect place to celebrate. We loved the “family style” experience. We enjoyed everything that came out of the kitchen!
Excellent food and service...chicken is best I have ever had, and Nate our waiter was fantastic!!
This was our second time to Savio Volpe and both were fantastic! We prefer to order off the menu rather than do the tasting menu, only because there are so many things we want to try! We ordered 2 salads (from the vegetable section) as well as a starter that blew me away: the farro & squash, the chicory & pork, and the porchetta tonnato -- I'm still thinking about them! Everything else was delicious too and the menu seems to change daily so i won't bother detailing the pastas except to say they all three that we ordered were fantastic!
Incredible dinner. Loved everything from the food to the attentive service and fun ambiance. Not too loud, not too sushed. Perfect lighting too!! Highly recommend.
Incredible food, service, ambiance. This place has it all.
The food and atmosphere was good only thing that made me deduct one star was that I made reservations and I still had to wait 45minutes for my table
Wonderful experience from start to finish. Service and attention were exceptional.
This place was amazing! We came here as a recommendation from two friends and it did not disappoint. We went with the $60 chef's menu, and despite some minor dietary restrictions, each dish blew us away. Our only critique was on the chicken/pork ravioli. It was tasty, but the stuffing seemed a bit too dense/dry..? Other than that, everything was delicious from the food to the wine. A quick shoutout to the server for noting our anniversary and giving us a glass of wine to cheers with. :)
Had to book this reservation a month in advance but it was terrific and worth it. We are not pasta people so we had veges and meats which were all fantastic. We like clean food, not polluted with sugar, flour and corn. We ate family style. So we got to share many dishes. Highlights .. beet salad, tuna Crudo, heck...it was all great. I better get another reservation.
Loved the restaurant and the food. Only minor comment was that the courses were brought out a bit too quickly. Felt a bit rushed
The food: interesting, fun, authentic, but not at all boring or "same old, same old". The wine: sublime. The service, not at all like "service", but rather like going to an enthusiast's house and letting him run wild and paint a Pollock-like culinary masterpiece on the table while you watch and eat the proceeds thereof. Stefan is to be congratulated for his infectious enthusiasm, engaging personality, vast knowldege of Italian cuisine, and consummate professionalism.
We'll be back. Soon.
A beautiful room with a clean, modern, organic, rustiness to it. The food is delicious, the environment of patrons pleasing, and the staff were very nice, very personable.
We really enjoyed having dinner!
They responded best to all my requests.
Thanks to you, my birthday friend who came from Japan was very happy!!I super appreciate it.
Great food and service as always.
The food was excellent as was the service! Loved all the dishes we tried. Nice, modern atmosphere. As the space is on the small side, it does get a bit noisy at times.
Having been to Italy twice our standards were high....it lived up to expectations!
Great food via the Chef's Choice: meat/cheese, kale salad, chicken pasta, seared tuna, dessert cannoli. Excellent wine choices. Service was mediocre; server had limited wine knowledge and too many servers attempting to help our table caused issues with delivery. In addition, I think we had 5 different plates, serviettes, and cutlery given to us in the meal which seems overkill.
Our 6th visit this calendar year, with one more booked around Christmas. Can you tell we love this place? Nothing not to love: food is outstanding (hint: eat "al la famiglia" where the server brings dish after dish (I think I counted 11 or 12 courses on Thursday evening) but only after you tell them about food allergies, likes and dislikes, etc). Service is to die for: no worse than T1 in Vancouver and maybe the best. The place is very "energetic" as Open Table likes to describe it but the sound baffles in the ceiling make it incredibly easy to hear each other talk (this from a senior with hearing aids!). All good. Just go. Warning: you need to reserve pretty far in advance. But just book something a month or more out and, when the time comes, go. You won't regret it.
Savio never disappoints. Best service, food, and ambiance. Thank you again.
I have never written a food review before but after the service that Nate gave us tonight I couldn’t help myself! My best friend and I had a reservation but were nervous because I have a dairy allergy and she doesn’t eat seafood so we thought our options would be limited, however, we were shocked by the options Nate provided us! The food, drinks and service were all 10/10 and we’ve never felt more comfortable/accommodated to :) Can’t wait to return! Thank you!
Excellent meal and service!
We were late to be seated, but got spoiled with complementartProsecco and appies. We felt so valued and really enjoyed our whole experience, even the short wait for our table. Food and wine was divine, staff were outstanding!
Unsure if I would recommend as the food was very disappointing for the price.
Always delicious. Always great service. Eat familia style, you will love it. We’ve been at least 10 times.
It was an overall great experience. Food was good but as amazing as we had thought it would be.
We were a group of four and had our food served family style. The service was excellent and the food delicious.
I have recommended Savio Volpe to every friend. We had such a fantastic experience here. It was my boyfriends birthday, he received a birthday card from The Fox which included the Kale salad recipe (winning!). The food was amazing, so much variety. We need to come back and do the chef's tasting menu as we know it will amazing!! To end, my boyfriend was given a dessert with a little candle in it. Such a sweet touch.
I would recommend for the food but would tell them Noise level very high, hard to have a conversation. Food was good. Service was good. Tables were too close together.
Our server provided great customer service. We liked their Buffalo mozzarella, grilled squash & leeks, brown butter, sage, the mozzarella was really fresh. We also really enjoyed the Bagna cauda, hot anchovy & garlic bath, it's served with assorted vegetables and bread.
The food, service and ambience were absolutely outstanding. Thanks for another amazing experience!
Dining at Savio Volpe was an absolutley delightful experience! My husband and I were blown away by the cohesion of the team and service each of member provided. From a glass of complimentary prosecco (due to a slight delay) to the way a server managed our request to return a dish (which is never nice to do) - our experience was beyond anything we could have imagined. We enjoyed ourselves immensely and will most certainly be recommending Salvio Volpe to others!
The yummiest food I had in a long time . My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves with the food ambience and the service .
I’ve been a couple times, and have loved it every time! Our server, Christian, was attentive and lovely, and gave us a great wine recommendation that we enjoyed immensely.
