   Great service, the sommelier came to our table and served our wine and shared some of her knowledge. I would highly recommend the chefs tasting menu! *of note* I am gluten free and the kitchen was extremely accommodating :)

   A great Vancouver restaurant. Noise levels much too high. The lamb appetizer was tasty, crisp texture and pleasantly chewy. The chicory salad lacked acidity hence rather tasteless. The tortellini pasta and papardelle were both perfectly al dente. Service prompt and friendly. Again the noise levels could be a deal breaker for some people.

   Had a super lovely time celebrating our anniversary last night. We ordered the custom 6 course meal and it was so exciting and amazing. We were SO FULL once we had gotten though all the courses. The Sicilian G&T was also delicious.

   5 of us tried the 5 - course meal for $79 per person. Amazing food and soooo much to eat. The service was over the top. Will definitely come back!

   Pros: The Tagliatelle is out of this world! Food was some of the best I've tried in Vancouver. But bear in mind it's pricey. We paid $156 for 2 entrees 2 plates and 2 drinks including tip. And I'd say it was too much food for 2. Cons: I don't like that they give you the machine to pay with 18% tip as the first option and stare and you while you pay. I don't mean to be rude but nobody should get more than 10% tip. (If a tip a all). Restaurants need to start paying their staff fairly.

   Excellent food. Excellent service. Server recommendations for tasting menu were excellent. At end of meal, the music level was raised too high and the air conditioning or something was turned on during our dessert which was freezing! Other than those mentioned environmental issues, the food was outstanding.

    Celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with Salvio Volpe and it did not disappoint. Bagna crudo was an outstanding start to the meal and rest of our dishes were excellent. I was surprised to be seated at the bar given I had made the reservation several months in advance but appreciate the “bubbles” sent over by the house when they learned we were celebrating.

    It was the first time we had the pleasure of dining at Savio Volpe and it was excellent from start to finish. The food was so delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. It was very busy and noisy, so if you are looking for a quiet, intimate dinner this is not the place. However the food was the best we’ve had so far and well worth it. We will return many times!

    Food was good as usual. Service usually is 5/5, but the server this visit had a bit of an attitude. We were just wondering what a chocolate sorbetto was as we have only ever had fruity sorbets, but the server looked at us like we were stupid and said, "you don't know what a gelato is? It's a gelato. A gelatos a gelato". Only when we pressed him further did he finally explain that it just didn't have milk. We ordered it, he went to go speak to some other table for 10 min, and then came back later and asked if the sorbetto was all we wanted before actually putting through the order. A small stain on an otherwise good dinner experience

    It was my mom’s “last supper” before her dental surgery (no solid foods for two months) and every dish hit the mark. Service was great, portions were more than reasonable and everything was delicious. Will definitely be back when I’m next in Vancouver. Thank you for a great time!

    The food is good, but I think I expected more. I wanted to be surprised with it (because of the prices and reviews). The place is too noisy and you have to shout a little bit to talk to other people. Also tables are too close to each other.

    Kept me waiting almost 30 minutes for my reservation. Then sat me at the smallest table in the corner. I guess it was better than being sat next to the bathroom. Chicken was tough. Everything else was great. I just won't come back on a weekend.

    The food was excellent!! Our server was way too pushy though and all he wanted to do was up sell us which was disappointing when we were buying a 6 dishes for 4 people plus a bottle.

    Went there for my husbands birthday, they had a card on the table and complimentary dessert, the food was fantastic. The garlic pull apart bread and the kanpachi was our favourite. Will definitely dine there again

    We love coming to Savio Volpe and usually find the servers happy and relaxed, it’s one of the reasons we like to come. The server we had was nice enough but don’t get a sense of “happy” from him.

    Celebrating a birthday, Savio Volpe knows how to do the extra touches well. Prosecco, a birthday card from The Fox and special dessert! In between all that was the amazing food and service (Jordan). Garlic bread, meatballs, pastas and broccolini didn’t disappoint.Full of complex flavours that were absolutely delicious! Finished with their cannoli and rhubarb sorbet. Industrial chic with a lively vibe! SV is a must!

    We thought that the food was excellent, the pasta seems so little for the price, but it tasted good. The beef shank was soft and tasty, we had the garlic pull bread which was amazing, couldn’t even finish the Maple Hill chicken which was also good. The girl who cleared up the dishes was negligent, she spilled some sauce on my husband’s t-shirt and she didn’t even know. Our waiter’s attitude was not superb, he did apologize on behalf of the girl, but he wasn’t the best server. The ambience of the restaurant was good for younger groups, we thought the seats were too close to each other and the tables were too small for the food we ordered. Definitely very noisy! But the food was good, no doubt about it!
