Average food at best. Will not return.
We had the New Year’s Eve dinner here and it was amazing. The service was perfect, the food was delicious and the live music made the mood pretty good.
I used the hotel parking facility but the door leading to the lobby from the garage was locked, necessitating my walking up flights and stairs to get to the street. The garage was empty and it was a little scary. The Bistro was not as nice as I remembered, hardly anyone there. Food was okay for two of my party but poor for the other two. The waitress was the saving grace, she was pleasant and attentive.
The food was cold. The service staff were completely overwhelmed (although our server was very nice - not her fault).
Soup was served soup even though I had It remake.. Stake was not consistent how they cooked it. The server did not even asked how I would i like my steak. It was a disappointment because it was Christmas eve.
The food and services were great.
It was great. Food & ambience were just right—- comfy and quiet. I particularly love that the place has a high ceiling which makes it airy, and has a good view. We were supposed to be there just during happy hour, but ended up staying, thus cancelling our reservation at the other restaurant. P2B is our favorite place whenever our friends go to Downtown. In fact, I brought my officemates to have lunch there a few months ago. They loved it too and started to bring their friends over as well.
Everything was just 'fine', nothing exciting or excellent.
Service from Pavel and the food were all amazing
Food was mediocre but service was friendly. Not likely to return due to food quality.
Food was outstanding. The waiter was very accommodating and the gluten free food was delicious. Nothing was too much trouble. We had a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
When we ordered a bottle of wine from the list provided, our server came back to say none of the wines on the list were available so we ordered a bottle from the back of the menu. The server then came back to say that the wine we ordered was also not available. We were provided another similar wine of a higher price for the original price. I ordered Caesar salad with grilled salmon. The salmon was so dry I could not eat it. My husband ordered streak frites which he found tasteless. The whole experience seemed to be one of unorganization which I found very disappointing. Will not go back to P2B and cannot recommend it either.
I think P2B improved in the last few years on the menu selections and also everything we ordered tasted really good. We had a group of 8 people and everyone liked various dishes they ordered. It was not very busy during lunch hour and we enjoyed our time there
Our experience was fantastic! The waitress Joanna was very nice and accommodating to us. The food was delicious and the patio ambiance was quiet and chill which we preferred. We also got a complimentary dessert for our anniversary night. Highly recommended!
Service was exceptional as was the food. Outside deck was quiet with a view of mountains.
When we arrived for our reservation, we were told that the gas was not working and there would be
no hot food. We were very disappointed as we were looking forward to eating at this restaurant. I
would have hoped that Open Table or the restaurant would have notified us of this problem before we
took a taxi from our hotel there.
We sat outside on the patio which was very nice. Had to ask 3 times for a water refill. the waitress seemed to be focusing on the larger tables inside the restaurant and ignored us (2 women). We didn't even get a reminder that Happy Hour was over at 6:00 and I had to flag down another server to order another beer at happy hour prices. Food was good, however the service was lousy. I hate getting ignored. My companion had tea and was never asked if she wanted more hot water for it. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. thumbs down to the service.
Our experience here was outstanding! The waiter was attentive,
the food was excellent and plenty!
We had a prawn cocktail appetizer, wine and I ordered a filet mignon well done, my husband ordered the halibut. My steak was pink. My husband’s meal was perfect. . I told my waitress, she called the manager. Of all things... the manager took care ofour entire meal! Then they recooked my filet mignon. We had dessert too. The meal was delicious. This is a very classy bistro. Fresh , local ingredients. Great service! Will definitely go back.
Delicious food served in a timely manner by attentive waitress.
Our first waiter was kind of a dud- my drink had a hair in it- it was replaced but it seemed to be a bother to him. The second person who seemed to take over was much better. Too bad she wasn’t helping us the whole time. The food was to die for - although a bit pricey. Loved the asparagus and salmons
Extremely accommodating. Wonderful severs. Food outstanding. However, impossible to have a conversation especially when live music was playing.
We really enjoyed our meal at p2b. My blackberry bramble drink was delicious followed by the freshest fish and chips that I’ve ever had. My husband had the shrimp and scallops over risotto which he loved. We shared dessert, a dark chocolate cherry lava cake, that was small in size but excellent. The whole meal exceeded our expectations! Server Raju was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend it.
We waited for over fifteen minutes for our seat (we had a reservation), so that was a bit disappointing. We had the Mother's Day Brunch and the room is beautifully decorated, definitely a plus! Food variety was good, with a combination of traditional brunch selection, salads, seafood, and sushi (the sushi is great by the way!). On the other hand, the prime rib was not so impressive, and the beverage options were limited. Overall I think it was a nice experience. I may return for the ambiance (next time I would want to sit at the main area with a huge glass ceiling/window, not the other dining room across the hall) but I am not so captured by the cuisine (I have really high standards for food though).
Mother’s Day Brunch - high value, live music, fresh seafood including mussels, clams, shrimps and crabs, plus special gifts for all moms. Complimentary mimosa and lavenders were great surprises for moms. Environment and atmosphere were perfect.
Graf buffet. Seafood station was awesome and packed with fish. So good. Desserts great too. Overall wonderful
This was my family’s third consecutive year attending the Mother’s Day brunch. I was impressed with the first year but each successive year has been progressively worse. Food was just mediocre this year. Prime rib was over cooked (cooked well). The lady working the printer at the photo booth was extremely rude as was the person taking payment from guests who were paying their bill. We will not be returning back to this restaurant again!
Mother’s Day Brunch. Best in town with wide selection. Photos and gifts for mom.
Always an amazing experience at this place. They go above and beyond and defiantly made mothers days a very special day.
This was an perfect Mother’s Day brunch. The buffet was amazing, the food fresh with lots of gluten free choices and clearly labelled. The service was great and I really liked the little attentions to the mothers like the free mimosa and the lavender plants. Will come again for sure!
Great service, table for 7 and all served under an hour for lunch!
The food is delicious but for my meal (shrimp & crab linguinie) is a little bit salty other than this everything is excellent.
Food is tsaty but not at the price level. Service was great but for some reason food took forever considering it was lunch service. I love this place for its almosphere. Will be back
We originally saw the dine out menu, but we didn’t bother with it we had a pasta dish and the healthy bowl on the regular menu and it was so good!
Restaurant was ambient, they had happy hour on, service was really friendly. We would stay at this hotel next time.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 'Dine Out Vancouver' meal. The chowder soup, be beef and creme brule were delicious!
My guest and I visited P2B Bistro for dine out. We both ordered the soup, I ordered the short rib, she ordered the salmon and we both ordered the creme brûlée for dessert. We both found the soup to be delicious, but our mains and creme brûlée, not so much. My short rib was very dry and I expressed that to the server when she came around to do a quality check, but I just thought I might have to just get further in. Unfortunately, it was dry the whole way through. My guest's salmon was also fairly dry and didn't "fall off" as fish normally would. The gnocchi that came with her dish was overly salty. Both our mains came with asparagus, but they were yellowing. The manager stopped by and offered to remake our mains, but I opted not to as I wouldn't have been able to finish it anyway so she gave us an "airline" discount of 20% off instead. From my knowledge, creme brûlée typically has the hard top from torching the sugar - the one we had at P2B bistro was lacking such and our spoons just sank through the top. I do appreciate our server and the manager trying to make things right, but I don't think I would go back based on the quality of the food I experienced during my past visit.
Had lunch at P2B Bistro this week with a colleague. The hostess seated us and the waiter was there quickly to take drink orders. My guest had a Caesar Salad with Chicken, and I saw a Cajun Clubhouse on the menu so I asked if they could make it a Cajun Chicken Burger instead and substitute soup for fries. They were able to accommodate my request and the meal was delicious.
Server asked if we wanted dessert or coffee, so we ordered a cappuccino and a latte and finished our meal relaxing and did not feel rushed out the door.
Nice place for lunch I would recommend. Food came quickly, so over-all I would recommend this restaurant.
Lovely New Year's Eve dinner before the party...thank you, everything was perfect.
Excellent ambiance great food -!/ great staff. Can’t go wrong !!
