We got the tomahawk dinner for two on NYE and it was the best dinner we’ve had in a long time. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Due to the unseasonably weather in Dec 2021. Wear a thick sweater or light jacket to eat there.service very friendly and quality of food very fresh
The food was amazing and our server Pavel was outstanding!
Ate breakfast there as it was included in my hotel stay. Service and view were great! I ordered the Northshore breakfast. The sausages were a tad dry and leathery.
We booked long time enough for the table. However they reserved our seat just in front of the entrance which is noisiest and busiest place. I can't believe why they reserved that seat for us booked it in ahead an they gave the better seats for the people who just went there on that day. They should have given the good place for the customers who booked the table before like us. Otherwise we didn't have to booked it on line. They don't know what is good customer service.
Service is quick very polite waiters and they listened when certain food items needed to be removed.
I ordered the Prime Rib - it was cold when it arrived at the table. They replaced it with a new prime rim which was slightly warmer , the potatoes were cold and vegetables warm.
Nice posh pub... It said music entertainment and so hoped for that but we were dining early so maybe after 8pm(?)
The food was fabulous. My husband loved the seafood chowder.
Really enjoyed our meal. I had the sable fish that was delicious and beautifully presented. My wife’s short rib was done to perfection.our waiter was so friendly and attentive. He made our evening so enjoyable.
Quick get away to Vancouver, love the ease of having a restaurant in the hotel with great food, service and entertainment
Was a great place for drinks & appys pre-Vancouver Christmas Market. Good food, good drinks & service.
No ambience really. Slow service with no follow up on things.
A clean restaurant, service was really good! Friendly staff good food. We’d go back!
We enjoyed a very nice dinner here last. The chicken was tender and the asparagus al dente and nicely buttered. Dinner companion had a steak to which she gave very positive feedback.
Had breakfast here this morning and it was very good also. The eggs look free run and the coffee pot for the table was appreciated.
The service on both occasions was efficient , knowledgeable, and friendly.
A bit overpriced and the salmon overdone. Make sure you ask for medium rare as their “medium” is well done. Told us the soup of the day was something else and no offer to take off the bill. Nice city view.
I had the miso sable
Fish and it was amazing! I would recommend this restaurant to everyone!!
Treated like Royalty for our anniversary dinner! Exceptional Service and Food! Had the Prime Rib sunday special and Salmon dinner & would definitely order them again!
Quick Birthday lunch for my wife. The food was very good, the service was excellent and we had a very nice time. Thank you P2B team.
The 3-course special is great value. Both of us had the seafood chowder, striploin and the pumpkin cheesecake - food were fresh, hot and delicious! The portion is adequate except for the chowder; it was literally a cup... little light for dinner imo. Our server is attentive and polite. They had live music on the weekends which is great, but it could get a little too loud at times... Overall, a great place to grab a casual dinner if you are in the downtown area.
All-round excellent dinner experience enhanced with live music. As we regain our comfort level with restaurant dining, we find that some of Vancouver 's chefs have become rusty, but the p2b bistro chef was in top form on our night. Kudos for a very nice evening!
The only downfall to this place was our waiter he never came to check on us, or asked how it’s going or if we wanted a refill on our drinks etc…. We witnessed other waitresses out and about checking on their tables so I had to call them, I didn’t want to keep bothering them since we were not in their section, it was annoying. The food was AMAZING though, the atmosphere was beautiful with the live music. It was raining so sitting under the rain with floor to ceiling glass was beautiful and relaxing. I loved that when I set my reservation it asked me if I was on my way and they made sure my table wasn’t taken. I will definitely be back. This was also an amazing location to the harbour and gastown.
Thanksgiving dinner was outstanding. We were visiting from Ontario and missing our families this year, but p2b restaurant made us feel so welcomed and the food and drinks were top tier!
Our sever was extremely helpful at accommodating dietary requests. The Hummus was delicious! It would be nice if there were a couple more vegan items on the menu or marked for easy modification as it is a popular dietary request.
just don't order the pizza the dough was so very soggy and not even sub par for amount of topping falling off and clumps of sauce
chicken wings not whole and was a tad salty
Good foods, great service. But we have the meal more than 2 hours, the area parking maximum only 2 hours, not even allow to extend. So really rush us to pay attention for the parking. I just don't know why all of the customer came after us but all finished & leave earlier than us!
Awesome breakfast, great open views while inside! Inside the hotel!
There was a singer in the restaurant that was very loud and it made it difficult to have a conversation. They didn't have any halibut (travelzoo deal) and substituted it with cod... not an equal exchange. The pasta was OK, but we expected it to be spicy as per the servers comments, and it wasn't spicy at all. The wine list is limited and 2 of the wines we asked for weren't available. So all in all, a little disappointing, but not terrible. It was nice to get out and share a meal with family.
The musician was deafening. Cannot hear each other. We all were happy he took a long long break.
Went for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Food was really good and the staff was amazing! Friendly and great sevice.
Enjoyed the live music as it added to our experience. Food was good as always. Service excellent
The only complaint I have is that the service was too slow. It was understaffed but with this pandemic I think all restaurants are understaffed. Our server was quite friendly and did her best. The food was amazing and the live entertainment by Antonio was brilliant
I don't like giving bad reviews when restaurants are recovering, but this was not very good. We had a pizza that had no flavour and the crust was like a frozen Delicio pizza crust. Half of what we wanted to order was not available and needed to be substituted. Service and kitchen was slow. We have never been here before and wanted to give it a try. Wont be back. We went somewhere else for dinner because we didn't want to chance any more bad food. There are way more better places in the area. Sorry P2B - I hope things improve soon
We had an unfortunate experience as the restaurant is attach to a hotel. A guest in the hotel threw hot sauce over the balcony and landed on us, which created a very distasteful and upsetting start to our dinner which was to be a celebratory occasion. Nonetheless the staff and manager did their best to ensure we still had a amazing dining experience. Service and food was amazing!
I made a special request but no acknowledgment
Got confirmation 24hrs prior to arrival and responded that we would be there. When we arrived we were told the patio which was the only part open due to COVID was closed and they were not seating people. We got no notification from open table or the restaurant that our reservation was cancelled. Hotel management was kind enough to refund our parking after we pointed out that we had already paid for it and had a reservation for dinner. Seems to be very poor communication between Open Table and the restaurant from what we can surmise.
Terrible, inattentive, rude service. Bland processed food clearly from bags from the freezer. Loud, mediocre live music.
It was a very nice restaurant with good service. Would definitely go back.
And I highly recommend to my friends and family. Very nice view from the dining area.
Ot was nice my daughter loves her french toast and her hot chocolate
The food was very good but except she got my order wrong so I had to wait a bit to get what I ordered. The quality of the food was excellent.
