The Black Cat Café is owned and run by PALS, a nonprofit animal rescue organization. Although every dime we make goes directly to the 600 homeless animals we save every year, we also know that our café succeeds because it is an awesome place to eat. Styled around the cafes of the South of France, our menu is eclectic and ever changing with many vegan, vegetarian and gluten free options in addition to our regular menu. We have won Best of the Main Line 3 times. Chef Judy Clemens puts out a breakfast, lunch and brunch that cannot be beat and all profits go to saving lives. And don’t miss our gift shop, featuring home goods and more featuring pets.

- GGourmetgalvipPhiladelphia / New Jersey Suburbs •18 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI can't believe I never went to Teresa's! I've been to surrounding restaurants in Wayne but missed this gem. The bar is extensive including several beers on tap. We had the mussels which were yummy. My main course was the melanzanne (eggplant). All I can say is WOW! It's baked and not fried and deliciousness all throughout. I will definitely order it again. My husband ordered the elk burger which was tasty and very lean. We were too stuffed for dessert. We will be back!More infoTeresa's Cafe$$$$• European• Wayne•4.7

- JSJeffreySNew York / Tri-State Area •3 reviews5.0Dined 7 days agoI am not one to normally take the time to leave feedback. However, this was one of the best dining experiences I have had. We received a friendly greeting upon our entrance to the restaurant. Our waitress, Stephanie, was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, friendly, helpful, and was a pleasure to be served by her. The food from the appetizers to the dessert were phenomenal. My wife and I will definitely be back. This was a fabulous anniversary dinner for both of us. The Philadelphia suburb of Wayne lies close to the western border of New Jersey. Featured in the 1940 film "The Philadelphia Story," the town was chosen to portray the image of America’s jet-set lifestyle. Visitors to the area can enjoy a variety of authentic Philadelphia fare along Wayne’s Restaurant Row. Here, you can find all the flavors of the mid-Atlantic, including fresh farm-raised Amish chicken and locally grown vegetables. Interested in trying a local favorite? Scrapple is a good place to start. This dish includes cornmeal mixed with pork that's baked in a loaf pan and then pan fried. And, of course, you can’t miss the original Philly cheesesteak, which is a popular option throughout the region.
