Pacifico Pizzeria Ristorante
Dinner: Monday - Thursday: 3:00pm - 11:00pm, Friday - Saturday: 3:00pm - 12:00am, Sunday: 12:00pm - 11:00pm.
Pizza was burnt on edges.
Clam chowder was good and nice and hot.
Calamari was very delicious and very generous portion.
We were slightly disappointed overall since we had just left a week of cruising in Alaska.
Best pizzas ever
I would give this restaurant a resounding meh. The food was ok. Not great not terrible just ok. We started with the calamari. The batter was excellent and the pomodoro and tzatziki sauces it was served with were wonderful. The portion was ridiculously large and because of this the squid in the middle of the mound was all stuck together. The salads were ok. Too bad they are usually overlooked for creativity-I love a good salad and this was not it. We ordered a medium size Vesuvius pizza to share. The crust was good-a little soggy in the middle and the meat selection on the pizza itself was good with the exception of the sausage. The taste was quite overpowering and took over most of the taste of the pizza. The wine with dinner was lovely-a nice Argentinian Malbec. The service was a little slow at first but I think that was more due to high turnover in our waitresses section. Once she got everyone settled the service was great. All in all an ok meal. Nothing offensive but nothing spectacular either.
Pizza was great. Service excellent. It was too noisy for our liking but was expected for a street level open air place.
Best pizza in Vancouver
Great meal! Large portions, still very flavourful. Service was slow, but I wasn’t in a rush at all
Always good food at a reasonable price
Great food great location and great staff. What more do you need?
Lovely meal, v at tentative service.
The food at Pacifico Pizzeria was really great, service was a good standard and the prices were reasonable, but be warned; the portion sizes are HUGE. Unnecessarily so. Don't have more than one course!
The food was very good with generous portions.
Great! Excellent wine and fantastic food
Food was quite bad. We left most of the main course. Even the appetizer was not good. Extremely bad experience.
Great place. We have been there many times. Have never been disappointed. Spaghetti and Meatballs dish is HUGE...enough for two people...or warmed for lunch today.
After a late meeting, a Pacifico vegetarian Pizza Hut the spot. Along with a glass of their featured wine, and the welcoming service, I was very satisfied. I only intended to eat half of the big Medium pizza, but it was so good that I had 6/8 slices. About slices: if you like to fold your pizza Philly-style (or NY-Style), ask them to cut it in 6 slices instead of 8! Always attentive, friendly staff, and old world quality served in a metropolitan location.
Host and waitress were extremely rude
Awesome food and service. Highly recommended!
What an incredible disappointment! This place has changed since my last visit about a year ago -- and not for the better.
First problem was that my main course arrived when I was not even half-way through my appetizer. This is one of those "hot-button" issues for me. If you want to be a fast-food restaurant that serves everything at one time, be that. But if you want to be a destination restaurant and charge accordingly, then teach your staff how to time the orders.
The prawn appetizer was quite delicious. The main, however, was another story entirely. The so-called spicy meatballs weren't spicy. What they WERE was inedible. They were dry, and they were so hard that I had to use a steak knife to cut them. They went beyond bland into the realm of having virtually no taste at all. I took pieces from each of the meatballs, hoping that one of them would have some taste, and ended up leaving them on a side plate, uneaten.
As for dessert, I know there are many different presentations for tiramisu. What this restaurant serves is like none of them -- and I don't say that in a good way.
A disappointing evening.
The service was prompt and attentive. Our food was excellent- very fresh, flavourable ingredients.
We had pizza
The best in a long time
Just like we had in Italy
This place was nice and service was decent. The food excellent, however my only complaint was that the place can get very very warm especially if you're sitting upstairs.
Pizza was good - not great. Delivered lukewarm to us with one of two orders completely wrong. Service was just average...overall nothing special about this place. Expensive price for average experience
Overall very good and would go again.
This is my favourite place for pizza. It's just delicious. Usually the service is great, but on my last visit on a Friday night, the service was OK. Not bad, but not great as well. I was celebrating something special with my family and I did request for a table in a certain area of the restaurant. Unfortunately I got a table in a different area and nobody told me the reason for that. I understand that it was a request and that couldn't be guaranteed, but I was expecting at least a knowledge of my request. Other than that, food was delicious!
We love that fresh made Focaccia.
This was our last minute choice for New Year's Eve and it did not disappoint! We enjoyed salad, soup, Pizza, and dessert as well as the sparkling wine on special for the night and it was all great!
Great food and drinks! Would recommend the pizza, it’s awesome!
We stumbled across this place unknowingly and were very happy to discover a new found gem. My husband and I are big foodies and are delighted to have a great go to place for delicious food at such a fair price.
We went here Christmas Eve and had the best pizza and appetizers
There were 5 of us and we prebooked
Great atmosphere and amazing authentic pizza
Great pizza and pasta dishes...never disappointed. Good staff. Good prices
Pacifico Pizza has been our “go to” restaurant when we stay in Vancouver and a family favourite for years. Our December 20th dinner was terrible. My pizza was supposed to have prosciutto on it and instead had rancid cold cuts and tasteless black olives. Our anti pasta plate had meat that looked like it was 3 weeks old that was grey. Our daughters both had penne with butter and parmasan and the pasta was mush. Worst meal ever. Not sure if we will give it a second chance. Very disappointed.
After hopping off a 14hr direct flight from Australia, Pacifico Pizzeria hit the spot for a young family of 5. The pizza crust is thin and authentic, and the garlic crust to die for!! Salt and pepper calamari is huge and quickly filled hungry little tummies. Yum yum!
really enjoyed the seating upstairs - gave sense of privacy but an openness of area. Would definitely recommend and return.
Pizza was yummy, big portions! Nice energy in the place
Always great food here. Never disappointed.
Food was delicious. Atmosphere was like being in a food court though. I kept having to move my chair to let servers and guests come and go. It was also difficult to have a conversation unless you were really loud about it. The table on one side had their backs to us so this was the moving seats part. The table on the other side of us was parallel to us, sort of side by side, and shouting to hear each other. We just wanted to eat and leave, no lingering over the food or that last glass of wine unfortunately. Which is part of the enjoyment of eating out or we would all get take out right. I would go again but bear in mind its a quick (admittedly tasty) feed.
Booked through Open Table but did not have a table when arrived, ended up cramming us into a smaller table, very brisk and rude to begin. Food was bland and overpriced.
We were given the wrong pizza and lied to.
Three of us ordered a large Margherita pizza (one of their signature pizzas), as per the menu it includes crushed tomatoes, mozzarella and fresh basil.
The pizza we received was plain cheese. When we asked the waitress, she went to check with the chef. She returned with small saucer of basil, barely enough to for a few slices, rather than the large pizza. She told us the chef forgot the basil, but it was a Margherita and gave us the basil to add on top.
We've ordered Margherita pizza's from Pacifico before, previously it had fresh mozzarella rather than shredded cheese, and there were tomatoes and basil spread around it.
The pizza we received this time looked and tasted like a generic plain cheese pizza.
When we asked another server to double check, they told us that the pizza was a Margherita, told us it didn't come with crushed tomatoes, and ignored us when we told her the description on the menu said otherwise.
So we were given the wrong pizza or at the very least a defective Margherita pizza and then lied to. They refused to give us a new, correctly made pizza, and insisted that we were wrong.
We arrived early to beat any crowd because of an upcoming commitment. The staff was busy boxing a large pizza order when we arrived but one of the staff was quick to seat us and provide us with menus and water. I ordered a Sicilian medium pizza. My wife chose the soup and salad: she chose the mushroom soup. Both the salad and pizza were very good. The mushroom soup proved to be a challenge: a TON of mushrooms and I mean a ton to the point of very little broth. The broth was very good but even with her best efforts the mushrooms were way out of proportion. The service was good, reliable. The place was not overly busy but did have one large group. We would return but be a little more careful about what we were ordering.
Stopped in for a quick dinner after a day of sightseeing. Staff were friendly and helpful. Meals were out quickly and were very tasty. Great easy place to eat with kids.
