Absolutely delectable lunch! First time there, but definitely will be back on a regular basis in the future. Would recommend getting there on the early side to avoid the crowds.

We were in San Antonio for a couple of days and after reading the reviews on this restaurant, I booked a lunch reservation for a Friday. It it a very pleasant place with excellent service and delicious food. We had an 11:00 reservation which is when they open, and by the time we left it was filling up pretty quickly, so I would recommend making reservations. Due to the heat, we ate indoors, but the patio is equally appealing. If I just HAD to add a con to the review, it would be the two salsas that are served with the chips. I wasn’t crazy about either one, but I am super picky about salsa and it’s such a subjective thing anyway. It would not deter me from returning.

It was a great dinner with friends that were Paloma first timers and in town from Austin, for the Dwight Yolkom concert. We usually request to be seated w Ruth when we dine during lunch. Our male server was dbl seated w a large party when we were seated for our reservation. He was extra busy bc of it, but the service was still pretty good. Great Fri nt dinner!

Paloma Blanca is a beautiful restaurant that has outstanding food. The seating is very comfortable and you feel like you’re In a wonderful restaurant at a Resort in Mexico. I would definitely recommend this gem of a place to bring people to enjoy to the fullest. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our experience there.

Paloma Blanca has a wide range of food offerings. Our first experience was lunch yesterday. I ordered Ceviche del Mar , chicken verde with poblano peppers, and pastel de tres leches. My husband ordered the chilled avacado crema soup, chicken, and strawberries in sweet creme for dessert. The ceviche was delicious, fresh fish, in a tasty lime marinade. The chicken verde was grilled perfectly, with a tasty verde sauce and a hit of spiciness. The Tres leches cake was good, although the chopped walnuts dominated the flavors. The chilled avocado crema was a bit underwhelming as it lacked much flavor. The frescas con crema dessert was very good. Fresh, abundant strawberries covered in fresh cream, was tasty and very refreshing. We will definitely return to Paloma Blanca to experience more of their unique menu offerings!

We ordered on the culinary menu, and our second course came to our table before we had finished the first. That was a bummer, because the second was hot, so we had to push aside the first for the second. Music way tooooooo loud! We had to talk in a very loud voice to hear each other! But, food was delicious.

Service was exceptional. We explained that my son had to get to the airport, and everyone(especially the bartender/waiter)was very speedy, bringing courses as soon as they were ready. My son and I agreed that the chicken dish was wonderful. Other food was OK,especially great spicy salsa. We are definitely going to return.

Our waiter is the best, He has served our party previously as well. He is very attentive. The food was excellent. I love the Restaurant Week specials and the opportunity to try different dishes. The avocado soup was very refreshing and te entree and dessert were superb. The only thing I would have changed is that we have been originally said in the back, or it was much quieter, and we had to move Ford to another section where it was quite loud.

We enjoyed the fix price menu for restaurant weeks. Juan, our server was so AWESOME! He was so very attentive and kind! Our meal was great, as always from Paloma Blanca, but Juan made it even better!!!

We visited as this is a gluten free recommended restaurant as I’m a celiac - I wasn’t disappointed as I was given a separate GF menu with lots of choice. I enjoyed the ceviche and then enchiladas. Service from Oscar was excellent and friendly. Our starters came out at the same time as our mains (entrees), which is a bit odd for us Brits. No matter, it was a joy to be able to eat freely. My wife and son both loved their food as well!

The dining rooms are way too noisy. There needs to be someway to dampen the noise in those rooms. We finally had to move to a different area to be able to hear the people that were with us. Hard floors, hard walls, and hard ceilings. Do not make a good atmosphere.

Been a regular customer for years. High quality food that is never, ever substandard. Service is almost always top notch, but noise levels and time between ordering and receiving food can be a bit long at peak times. I have also used them to cater a private event and they were flawless in both quality and execution. Clearly one of the best restaurants in the city.

Parking was difficult. Our 12:00 lunch reservation was for 5 large gentlemen and we were crammed into a booth. When asked for another table the hostess told us it would be a hour and a half wait. Never again for a business lunch option. 😒

Great! Our first time , we took my mom for her birthday and she loved it. She is a super picky eater and we were afraid but she loved the chicken with white rice and veggies ! Our waiter Christopher was attentive, kind and the best!

Our Mexican waiter was awesome. I can't remember his name since it was long and difficult to remember but he made us feel like at home. He mentioned he was going to Durango, Mexico the next day and we loved him to the point that when we come back we will request him as our server❤️
