I’d give full stars but we had mentioned that one of the members of the group had a salmon allergy and the waitress had assured us that it wouldn’t be an issue as they would just remove it from any of the tasting menu courses for all parties at the table for the sake of convenience. When the sushi course came. We were served salmon.
Service was terrible. The waiter took long to take out order and come for our bill. It was very frustrating. The food is always delicious. The decor of the restaurant can use an upgrade
It was absolutely delicious! All 6 courses were prepared with perfection and the server who served us was fantastic!
We always choose Park for special occasions. The food is simply amazing, the ambiance is cozy yet elegant and the staff is always on point. Park is definitely the best sushi in town and I recommend it to any food enthusiast.
FANTASTIC! Have the 7 course omakase!
Great service, excellent food. Quiet restaurant. Indoor parking available
We loved the food and the ambience. We asked about the 6-, 7- and 8- course tasting menu and were worried it would be too much unless we did the smallest 6-course menu. The waiter highly recommended the 7- and 8- and said that the serving size was small. So we took the 7- and 8- (not everyone must take the same tasting menu), but it was too much, we all felt that if we had stopped eating half way through the meal, we would have had a better experience. The sashimi and rolls that came in the second half of the meal were too much, especially after a very satisfying sushi platter. Other than that, the dishes were amazing and very original. Excellent ingredients.
Best 42nd birthday dinner ever! Milles merci!!!
Sushi was alright. I had very high expectations for this restaurant. We told the waiter multiple times what our food restrictions but they were ignored once our food arrived. Not worth the money
Amazing experience! We had discovery menu for lunch and Mr Park himself came to present one or our plate. Never had sushi’s that good.
We’ll be back
Food excellent. Service a bit slow - this was lunch and we had to call the waitress at almost each step.Ambiance very nice but tables for 2 very close to each other. I’ve had more private conversations at shared tables...
Very good dinner at Park.
The sushis are excellent (and we used to live in Japan!).
Excellente service as well.
We will come back soon !
The food was beyond excellent, the service was friendly & gracious. The room is a bit oddly laid out, in terms of moving between table and the bar and bathrooms, but the seats are comfortable and the tables are spacious so when you are seated you don’t feel crowded.
Fabulous food, sat at the bar which was comfortable and enjoyable.
The best sushi I have ever had: and I have had a lot !
Meilleurs sushis à Montréal!
Service hors-pair avec excellent choix de vin.
I tought I had the best sushi in montreal, but not until having a meal at Park's, outstanding taste and presentation!
Friendly staff and great food.
Came here for a friend's birthday as she's been wanting to try this place for a few years now. I've been here previously but my visit a few days ago was far from the experience I had enjoyed from my first time. Aside from the food, their service was one of the reasons why I wanted to come back. Our server came to only to take our food order, checked on us once, and waited for about 45 minutes to get our bill. My friend and I watched as tables nearby us received the 5/5 service that I remembered when I first came here while we felt excluded. Overall, food was great but the service was not what we had expected.
Everything was really good. Except for the Kobe/wagyu. On the website says Kobe but in place the menu states wagyu. Needless to say I ate it all but felt that I was having regular filet mignon rare. Its a bummer when your going there for that and leave with a bitter taste. The server Eddie was flawless!
All was excellent from beginning to end: food, wine, ambience & service. Arigato to all the team !
Très bon mais service très long. C’était notre 2e visite. La première fois c’était beaucoup mieux.
Not enough waiters for lunch.
Sushi was amazing as was the green salad
Second visit within 3 years, constant same high level
Absolutely the best Sushi/Japanese restaurant in Montreal.
The service was extraordinary, a mesmerizing experience to eat Chef Park’s creation. Unfortunately, we received a wrong explanation concerning a certain price On the menu and was charged 100$ extra. Other then that, it was great !
The sushi tasting menu is incredible - they were also very accommodating of our allergies. The only thing is the ambiance - it was too bright for dinner and tables are too close to each other. It didn’t fit the amazing meal we were having. The bathrooms could also use some renovation.
This was my third time visiting Park, and, as with my previous visits, it was outstanding! My partner and I both got the 6 course omakase tasting menu, with an emphasis on sushi dishes. Everything was fresh, flavourful, and thoughtfully made. The meal flowed well together as a whole. Something extra special about our visit this time was that my partner and I got to sit at the 'chef's table' - it happened to be available when we arrived, so it was an unexpected treat. It was a real joy to see how the chefs prepared the food and worked together to make every guest's meal with the same high quality! Thank you to everyone at Park for making an already delicious meal extra special! We are already looking forward to our next visit.
Birthdays of all 4 attendees - everything was EXCELLENT !
Our server Nick did a wonderful job explaining and recommending choices for us. We came to Park when it first opened and this is now our second visit since the renovations. We did not like the decor.... it was not cozy, or trendy for such a high end Restaurant. The miso soup is lovely and the sushi was good. The surf and turf was a beautifully plated however our rib eye had too much fat on it, while the fried foie gras felt it could have cooked longer. There was not enough surf on the platter and large amount of mushrooms. Although all the food was good, I was not left with a feeling that I’m craving to come back soon.
Technically well crafted food but the "fusion" element was something that I wasn't very keen on. Soya sauce with maple syrup was one of them. I looked forward to this place as I hoped it would be closer to Nobu, Zuma, Roka etc. but even though technically it was, taste wise it wasn't and I left disappointed. There were some nice dishes though. The duck in the broth was nice and so was the salad mix with nuts etc.. Sashimi was ok but Maki was something I didn't like at all. It was too sweet and somehow 'overcrowded' with taste. Wagyu nigiri was nice but the nigiri plate was half/half. Some pieces were very nice some pieces were just a taste miss. Even though my partner enjoyed the food more than me we won't be coming back. The taste of the food is just not there for us and given the value you get I think we won't come back. Its such a shame, we were really hoping for a new place to use for nice occasions just as we used Roka, Zuma, Nobu in London. We tried Shokunin and that was better than this. Such a shame
It has lost its original greatness. Nigiri, Maki was very tasteless. I went there in its 1st year... Was amazing. Not the same anymore, not close.
My husband and I had a beautiful evening at Park celebrating his birthday! The service and the food was absolutely lovely! Everything we ate was made to perfection and we couldnt wait to try what was coming next (we had taken the Omakase/Tasting menu). The decor and overall ambiance is very romantic and cozy. It is a perfect place to celebrate a special occaision! :)
We enjoyed an amazing meal. The food is extremely well prepared. Creative without being pretentious. One of the best nights out I have had in recent memory. There were problems with open tables to accommodate our reservation, but the staff responded admirably by bringing us complimentary glasses of champagne and explaining the situation.
