Pizza and appetizers are very good and fun to share with a group around the tall tables. However, this restaurant is extremely noisy with many guests unaware that they are inside at a restaurant. That is a shame because the service and food are worth a visit.
Girls night out
Just an fyi - Expect to wait a little bit even with a reservation. Pizzas and desserts are delicious and fun to share!!! Drinks are good as well. A little pricey but I'd definitely go back.
My only complain was the pizza, which should be the best part of a pizza place. The cheese and toppings literally fell off the pizza when I picked it up, making it a mess to eat. Maybe it was undercooked or that's just their recipe, but it was difficult to eat.
We always have a good time at Parlor. The Burrata Be Kidding Me pizza is a amazing. We add meat. We like to say we should try something else but we can't this pizza anywhere else.
Too loud in the tent
Great food, great service, with a fun crowd and a great ambiance. It's my favorite bar/restaurant in Chicago!
Cute hostess w the shoulder length brown hair and silk head wrap did everything she could to make our experience enjoyable on an incredibly busy Cinco de Mayo. We brought 3 dogs with us and sat on the patio in the corner. Server was very attentive, all around fabulous day! Thank you Parlor!
SO glad we had a reservation as the wait on a Saturday mid afternoon was 1 hour +
The food was Amazing - pizza bread was super yummy but huge- must share! Pizza was unique and delicious
Our server was OK -but delivered great food so got over it quickly
My daughter had the unicorn dessert & LOVED it!!!
Food was great, the only issue is that the pizzas came out almost immediately after our appetizer arrived, and I thought the pizzas were a little small for the price. Our server was very attentive though, and we were checked on several times by different managers as well making sure we were doing well
All five stars! Always a winner here with large groups, great food and fast drinks with a feel good vibe!
Love Parlor Pizza. The food and drinks are great and it's always a fun time!
My only complaint is that when we arrived for our reservation, our seats were a bit far from the TV and we wanted to watch the playoff game for our team. We asked if we would be able to switch to any of the other 4-top tables in the area, with closer views. There were several options in the vicinity that had better views of the TV. However, we asked two separate people and we were told that those were "taken" (or reserved for other groups of four for later reservations) and we would have to get on the waitlist for a different table if we wanted to move. Not sure why our table couldn't have been given to one of the later reservations. Some of the tables were free for almost the entire time we were there watching the game so it was a bit disappointing.
Good food, good service, upbeat, fun atmosphere!
Parlor has never disappointed me. I look forward to coming here and always recommend it to friends. The pizzas are great - not only is the crust perfect out of the brick oven, but the toppings make them unique, flavorful, and like I went out for something special.
Went to watch NCAA finals. Our server was great, very on top of things and available even though it was a crowded night. There are a lot of TVs so could see the game from pretty much anywhere. Food was above sports bar fare though pizzas got a bit soggy. Good beer list!
Overall it was great. I do think $15 for 8-10 chips being sold as nachos was pretty steep. Also, we were seated in a booth where the wait staff was cleaning silverware and sort of just hanging out and staring. It was a tad uncomfortable. Otherwise, we had a great meal.
I have been to Parlor multiple times and have been very impressed every time. My friends who were in Chicago from out of state were blown away with the food and ambiance. In the summer it is even better with the outdoor patio and rooftop open. I would highly recommend Parlor Pizza to anyone.
Very strange experience and poor hospitality. We did a game of sit down, stand up, move away from the table. Too many rules for a restaurant that serves cold pizza.
Took my teenage girls for lunch during spring break. We had a wonderful lunch. Value of the lunch time menu is great. So much food couldn't possibly finish what we ordered. Pizza and salad were tasty loved our choices. Came for the dessert...and it was fabulous! Would recommend taking a day trip to enjoy!
Thanks for accommodating our large group after March for our lives rally. Nice staff, good food!
It was loud in the restaurant, the waitress should have come around the table to take the orders and therefore one of the orders were incorrect, girls said she was not so nice, liked the restaurant and food was good
It was really good! We went there for my daughters birthday and it was super fun! We had the best dessert there... Dessert Tacos! The service was nice and it was a very hip happening place. Only bad thing was that it was really loud and couldn’t hear the people I was talking to.
Good, just too loud to have good conversation.
Save the ranch with chicken was good
Dined here before a concert at the United Center. It was packed with others doing the very same thing, however, service was incredible and we got in/out with enough time to spare. it is definitely a place to go before a concert or sporting event. The outdoor garden looks amazing for summer in Chicago!
Favorite spot in Chicago!!
We enjoy the food a lot, but even we had a reservation, we still waited half hour to be seated. Also, the music was loud. It's hard to chat with your friends.
Always a good go-to for a quick bite and drinks. The calamari was really good, and the Burrata Be Kidding Me pizza is always a favorite of mine.
One of my favorite spots in the city to take visitors. They have the best bloody mary bar I've seen in the city with tons of different juices, toppings, spices etc. Every meal I've had is great, whether its the pizza, salads, apps, you name it. Also great rotating draft list. Great for big groups and happy hours!
I came here with a group of 5 for a celebration dinner and we had a great time. The pizza was delicious.. thin sliced with some out-of-the-box options for topping. Loved the sh-sh-shishito. The ice cream tacos for dessert were as delicious as they looked! I will be back.
Great food and atmosphere
A bit loud when you get in, but once you get away from the central bar area is gets more reasonable. Service was great. Good place before a Blackhawks game or to meet people.
Great place for casual food and being out with friends!
I love this place. It has great food and the gelato tacos are the best. Went to dinner on a Sunday night with my family and my only complaint is the noise level. It was really loud. It was very difficult to have a conversation because you could not hear the person across from you without screaming. It really is a bar atmosphere especially if you are seated at a high table. I recommend requesting a booth which might help if your going there for dinner.
Wonderful food! Upbeat and happy atmosphere. Fun place!!
Parlor is always great. We especially like the Save the last ranch pizza. I always order it with a side of red sauce. Kale Cobb is also amazing.
Great pizza, but absolutely terrible service. I was so disappointing to be received in a rude manner at the front of house and as it was my birthday, I expected more welcoming service. It was a busy Saturday night, but as a group of 10 (8 were present at time of our reservation) they refused to seat us and actually gave me a very hard time about it. They said they'd give away my table if the two remaining guests did not arrive within 10 minutes of the reservation.
I understand a restaurants need to seat complete parties, but some exceptions should be made and front of house staff should be trained to recognize these situations. They certainly have a vibrant crowd and I'm sure my bad experience won't matter as they'll continue to do well as a hot spot for young people. I'll order takeout, but unless you want to be treated like you're not important, don't recommend going there do have any type of special occasion.
If you have any hearing issues it's very loud and noisy. Again, I am very sad on how I was treated by the front of house staff and the manager was also very rude. I guess they are used to dealing with difficult crowds given the size of the restaurant and the bar scene. Maybe I'll try to other location - but it will take some time for me to get over having a bad birthday experience.
This is extremely pathetic. We had a reservation 2 weeks ahead of time, our group was for 23 people. We arrived our group was there on time and they still had us wait 15 minutes to get set up.
We were there for a birthday party, and our group total spent over $800+ and they charged us for a taco birthday ice cream desert. Almost every restaurant ever ever been to will never charge for a bday desert, let alone when you have a group of our size and spent the amount we did..I will make sure everyone I talk to I tell them to go elsewhere..this place is a joke..
for it being a pizza place..hands down the worst pizza ever..the toppings dont stay on when you pick it up and it and is soggy and sucks...not bad drinks...bartenders are really clueless and I think just there for looks ...but most of them aren't even that great looking..
honestly...its just ok
The new burrata salad is not worth the price, as you do not get much for the value. Also, the old burrata salad was more traditional and enjoyable.
