   I was expecting a better experience and the lack of enough personnel at the restaurant affected it. The waiter/barterder/everything else was good, but one person is not enough.

   Our waitress was lovely! She was warm and inviting. Went in for a birthday brunch and had a nice time. The breakfast menu is limited but the food was good and came with good portions.

   We ended not dining here for lunch after we were seated and given a completely different menu than what is listed online. Fried chicken wings, beef nachos, and a plain, nothing-special hamburger were on the menu. Not what we had in mind so we went elsewhere. Hostess seemed very put out by our arrival and that I had made a reservation just 20 minutes prior using the app. There were only 5 tables in use at the time.

   Minor glitches- OpenTable let us book a table for a time thirty minutes before opening so we had to wait until the kitchen was ready for service. Waitstaff took our orders promptly nevertheless so that they would be waiting once the kitchen was open.

   Came here several years ago with a friend and brought my husband this time! Love the red Sangria and lovely setting as well as the food and service … hope to return soon!

   Such a beautiful historic setting, so lovely to be here in Old San Juan eating delicious watermelon salad and mofungo with skirt steak. Excellent attentive service. What I love the most is how beautiful the Hotel el Convento is-I look forward to staying here for a visit.

   The meal took an hour and 15 minutes to be delivered. At first the waiter mentioned the large party at another table. But they got their food not long after we ordered, so hard to understand how that impacted our order. Meanwhile, several other tables who arrived much 30 minutes after us got their food. Later he said something about a mixup with another order.

    The service was excellent n the food was outstanding. The Tuna Tartar, the Salmon, the mofongo, salads the coffee well everything we had was delicious. Highly recommend. A wonderful experience. We will be back again.

    The service was outstanding- if it wasn’t for nicest waitress we would have left because of their limited lunch menu. The flan was delicious/ would go only to have it and chat to the waitress.

    The ambiance was excellent. The service was very good. However, the menu that is presented in the Open Table and the menu they sent us is not real. The have fewer offerings.

    Nice place and service but the food was just ok. The menu shown of Open Tavle is completely different than at the restaurant. I chose this place based on the menu and that was a disappointment
