Always love this place. Beautifully designed space and the food is always amazing.
Wonderful food, our waiter was quiet, seemed to have a bit of an attitude but everyone else was helpful. Bathrooms had no toilet paper on a Saturday night?
We dined here for a birthday dinner.
The food was really good. I love being able to order a bunch of small dishes to get a nice variety of flavours.
We had about 5 small dishes to share (between two of us). I absolutely loved the mushroom croquets, I was tempted to order a second portion.
We also shared the small scallop paella which was delicious!! Only thing to point out, the tables beside the windows felt a bit drafty. I was cold throughout the whole dinner. If you get cold easily like me, don’t sit there and request elsewhere.
The paella was not professional. It was burned and with not enough rice.
For $200 dinner for two, we expected much more.
Ordered a small paella because our server told us it would be heaping however when it come out it was all laid flat on a very shallow skillet.
Food was incredibly overpriced for the quality. The two best dishes were two if the simpler ones, the patatas bravas and the mushroom croquettes.
Beyond that the food was mediocre with needless additions ruining either the flavor or texture of the meal. The dried mushroom bits on the mushroom rice dish would be a particular standout on ruining what might otherwise have been a nice dish.
Very nice ambience！Came here for valentine’s day with our baby. The host, server and managers were all nice to us! The amount of food is quite generous and I was too full when walked out the restaurant...
Our evening at Patria was wonderful. Very knowledgeable staff who gave us some great recommendations for just the right amount of food and wine for our party of 3. Really enjoyed our evening. Look forward to going back.
Monday night at Patria was a delight. It was the perfect place for us to celebrate. The food was top quality and the service was impeccable. Sadly, like so many of Toronto's restaurants, the ambient noise level in the room was much higher than the decor suggested. Employing an acoustic consultant as part of the design team would have made a huge difference. It is not too late. It cold be a much more elegant experience with less noise.
My real complaint is the reservation system. Yes, you, Open Table! We wanted to eat at 6:30 but the only sitting we were offered was 5:45. The restaurant was half full from when we arrived until we left at 7:30. What's up with that???? Please fix it, or just answer the phone and take reservations.
Overall a fabulous experience, with a few wrinkles.
Hostess who brought us to our table did not ask to take our coats like she did the next table who sat down after us. Not sure why.
The server Nathan (think that was his name?) was amazing though! :)
Great food, great service, great experience
One of our favourite places to dine in Toronto. We've tried many new places but keep going back to Paria time and again. There is understated excellence to their food and service. Mike P
It was great
Server was very helpful with recommendations for sharing. Even though we had to delay our reservation there was no problem getting seated. The timing of the of the dishes arriving at the table was perfect, leaving enough time for chatting in between.
Very nice and cozy restaurant . Nice ambiance and excellent location. Very good food and excellent service. Pricy but it’s worth the money .
Most dishes were execute very well. The cornish hen was extremely tasty and cooked to a delicious crisp. The paella however was overly fishy and unappetizing which served as a poor ending to our meal.
Overall, great atmosphere, food and drinks. The only downside is how extremely expensive it is.
The place looks nice ... dimmed light ... good for dating
Food Price is expensive
Food portion is snack size
It is recommend eating some food first before going there.
Great food, great service, beautiful room and good vibe. Never disappoints.
The queso frito is to die for.
nice place but v over priced. You would get a better meal in Spain for 50 EUR
My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Patria. We have been to Spain and found the food at Patria to be comparable to the best restaurants in Spain. Our server Sebastain was exceptional. He was very informative, made great suggestions and was friendly and polite throughout the evening. Definitely recommend it.
One of our faves. Great food and service.
Excellent food and excellent service. The only reason I gave a 4 for ambience is because it was very cold despite being far away from the door. The servers did make an effort to give us a warm table so all credit to them.
Restaurant was chilly
Great food! We went with the tasting platter and it was amazing. Our wine pairings were great as well, very knowledgeable Sommelier. 5/5
The menu is difficult to understand. We just asked the server to order what he thought we be best. That was very nice of him to offer, but he ordered the most expensive items off the menu and our bill for 5 ppl came to $480. When we expected it to be maybe around $200.
The food is very expensive and not the best for the value you pay.
Absolutely love the place!!!! I will definitely keep on going back
Food is good. Server and barman very friendly.
I have to say I love this restaurant but this last visit I was disappointed with the food. The paella was really overly salty and it’s usually excellent. I was also disappointed with the sangria which was not up to par for this restaurant. Possibly just an off night.
Our server was amazing, food was delicious a very enjoyable evening
We order the paella which was dry and the gambas were dry. Wine was excellent. The dessert were wonderful. It was a tad noisy for my in laws. But our waitress was delightful.
Great food. Great cocktails. I went on a weekday to celebrate my anniversary. Our table was tiny and I’m clumbsy so our food could barely fit and the menu almost knocked over our drinks. My server was on point. Everyone was there to help. Suuuper loud and we had the best empanadas of my life. It was a good experience. Maybe make a reso for 3 and change it last minute so you don’t get my two top ;)
Great taste and ambiance but portions getting smaller over time. Had the steak and it was noticeably less than a few years ago. Same with the charcuterie board.
Such an amazing restaurant. Every dish we tried was delicious. The service was fantastic and such a great vibe. Can't wait to return.
Lovely food. Don’t go if you want to have a conversation.
Our first taste of Spanish food and we want to come back and experience another paella.
Absolutely coming back. Love this place.
The environment was perfect too
Food out of this world and the waiter and wait staff were accommodating as we were very late due to storm. Will be my go to every time in Toronto and I live in Oregon!! MUST GO!!
Loved the ambiance and the interior of Patria, but thought the food was just alright. Didn't seem to be worth the high price. Found all the dishes to be quite salty, and the recommended pork dish (~$40) to be very dry. Great salt water beer though!
