Great service, good food. Prices are over the top. Always had been expensive but it has priced itself out of my range.
Great ambience, really cool spot with good service. However, the food was disappointing and everyone (party of 6) felt kind of sick afterwards.
Good service. Nice selection of inventive food choices. Excellent wine and a knowledgeble somillier. Very noisy!
I wouldn’t recommend this place to ny friends for only one reason “Service”. I go out to eat very often and I like to try different restaurants specially great places like this with the amazing decor and amazing talented Chef Stewart Cameron. That is the only reason I went to Patria in the first place. The service for me should be as sharp as the menu in terms of level of service as well as the price we pay to dine there. That was not the case for me on my first visit. Thankfully there are many other tapas hidden gems out there. Sorry Patria won’t be a next time.
We are 4 female friends, have a longtime tradition to celebrate our birthdays visiting some fancy restaurant. Have been in many of Toronto's hot spots. We all agree: Patria is outstanding. Exellent food, authentic with a twist of creativity. Ample vine list. Portions are on a smaller side, but it is usual for a tapas bar, expect to order a number of dishes to try. Especially wish to mention the service. It was very attentive and professional, but not a bit of nuisance: exactly how you want it. It is an expensive place, we spent more than 100 for a person. We were sitting inside, but the patio looks nice and cozy, also they have a loft with a large table for a private event. Would recommend.
Excellent dinner spot. Lots of menu options. The seafood paella was great. The oxtail peppers were a hit. The grilled octopus was awesome. Outdoor dining was so comfortable. Expensive but worth it spot.
This is my third time at Patria and again the experience was amazing! The restaurant is beautiful, the service excellent and the food innovative and tasty! We had the paella with scallops and they were absolutely delicious!
Challenging to find this gem of a restaurant. Service was on top of everything. Made us feel totally welcome and made perfect suggestions. Meal was wonderful.
Portions were quite small, but came out at a good pace and surprisingly filled up quickly. Bacon wrapped dates were exceptional! Our waitress was amazing and had great recommendations for us :)
A very lovely restaurant! Enjoyed the Tapas experience and our server was very helpful. Also this restaurant had nice restrooms that were clean.
Our server Liz was amazing! And the food was top notch. Hadn’t been to Patria in a couple of years and it seemed better than ever. We had the branzino, octopus, shrimp and the butter lettuce salad along with exceptional hazelnut mousse for dessert.
We enjoyed our meal very much. Most dishes were very good (octopus, paella Patria) , some were so so. (Patatas Bravas were soggy and not at all crispy)
I was VERY impressed by the service and the team work of the staff.
If there was an empty plate or a water glass that needed to be filled - the first person to notice it, even if it it wasn't "their" table or "their" job, was on it. Everyone seemed to be covering for each other.
I would go back just to have dessert for dinner ! The Semifrío was SOOOOOOO yummy!!
Walked in with a reservation for a table for two, no line ups, since it was reserved for their opening time (5pm).
The host however lead us to an area which we later found out that no one was being lead to after us. We realized that its an unpopular seating area, since its right by the entrance. Everyone else were being seated deeper inside & upstairs. No idea as to why they did that, but very unhappy.
Food was very tasty. Portions were smaller than expected. Overall a good experience.
Amazingly delicious food! Tapas style great for sharing with a group. Paella was awesome. Great service too! Would definitely come back
Service was good, food was so so, space was cool. Convenient and private spot right in the entertainment district.
I came to Toronto for the night and saw Grease. This is my favourite place to eat.
Everything was outstanding! Our server was great and the food was amazing. I love introducing friends to Patria
Everything was absolutely perfect! Our server was amazing and knowledgeable, making sure order the perfect amount and paired our food with a perfect wine. Definitely one of my favourite places to go to!
Great food and service again, highly recommended
The dishes were unique and well done with a beautiful presentation. The service was fabulous and Sandy was exceptional.
My friend and I had a lot of catching up to do, so we wanted a quiet table and a good bottle of Cava before we ordered. Our waitress obliged on both scores, with a table on the patio and a lovely bottle of Cava Brut, expertly poured. Then for dinner we chose four tapas dishes, one from each section of the tapas menu. We were more than satisfied and ended the meal sharing a delicious dessert.
Second time i have been here for my wifes Bday - the food although pricey is outstanding (Tapas) the staff are very freindly, give recommendations and are knowledgeable. We love this place, its the ultimate date night spot.
Everything was very good. Especially the paella. Beef cheek and bone marrow. Loaded with garlic and saffron. Share small plates and try many things!
Very expensive for what we got. I know tapas but these portions were extremely small
On our wedding anniversary we went for the Sunday brunch. The restaurant decor is elegant in a romantic setting. Authentic tapas Spanish food with a good menu selection. Ordered coffee and were offered Americano coffee at $3.50 with no refills. That was disappointing for a Sunday brunch while the table next to us was offered orange juice with continuous free refills. For appetizers we ordered from to share menu section Bombas Con Salva Brava at $15 and empanadas at $15. We literally received only two bomba fried balls and two pieces of empanadas for $30!!! For entree we ordered the Tortilla De Patatas for $16 that was good and tasty. For dessert we ordered Churros at $9 that was served on a wooden board showing Happy Anniversary with Dulce De Leche and Chocolate that was the highlight of the brunch. The service was attentive and friendly from most staff except our server that was in a bad mood. The food was good but overpriced and restaurant was not busy that day.
Like to try different foods. This was not a great example of Spanish
Good food but too loud
I dine at Patria often. Lovely ambience, excellent food. Hannah/ the manager is a great asset.
Service was impeccable and staff very friendly and accommodating. We had a friend join us unexpectedly and they were very accommodating in moving us. The food was not as good as I remembered... paella was very salty and garlicky. The flavours of the shrimps were over powered by the garlic. The truffle croquetas were good.
The food was great but a little expensive for the porcions
Great food but too many servers and the open kitchen doesn't give them any refuge. It was like they were all rushing around pretending to be busy. Loved the food just found that strange
Good, but not excellent, tapas. Very efficient and friendly service. Good vibe on a Saturday night.
Awesome evening. Everything was absolutely delicious. Ordered every side plus a large shrimp paella. Delicious! Of course we will be back. Thank you Patria!
It was lovely. Although I wouldn't order the Gambia again. A bit overcooked and please remove the shell. Our server was excellent and treated us very well. I'd go back.
It was a good experience and the food was good.
Patria had great ambiance and the service was impeccable. Unfortunately the food isn't great, limited dairy free and pork free options. The food, while okay, lost some of the charm of Spanish tapas by being overpriced and overthought versions or the original dishes.
Food was uneven. Some dishes were excellent (the cornish hen, the jambon) while others were less than hoped for: the paella had too much garlic; the potato side dish was boring. Nice presentation though and professional service. Noisy
Nice Spanish place, food and service were good, a bit noisy.
Excellent food. Great for sharing in a group. We were 5 people. The waiter helped is navigate the menu to get the best experience for tapas. Great wine list. We really enjoyed the evening. Highly recommended.
