Patria Ratings and Reviews
What a gem! I must come back to try more dishes. The food, though in smaller portions than expected, was delicious. Loved the butter lettuce salad and shrimp dish. Great location. One small suggestion would be to place a sign off king to dorect customers. Will come back again!
Went for dinner for Anniversary. Great food and service. Great cocktails too.
Really nothing special - venue is nice. restaurant didn't go above and beyond - rinse and repeat effort . too much Citrus in some dishes - a far cry from Spanish tapas
I loved Patria! The service was excellent, the vibe is perfect for a special night out and the food is incredible.
Fantastic food and wine list. Not very good for a date night as the restaurant is really loud and it’s hard for intimate conversation.
Food and service was wonderful. Room had a cozy romantic vibe. We will return.
Food was good but unremarkable. Most items seemed overpriced given the quality. There are numerous better choices for tapas in the city.
Absolutely delicious food and great atmosphere. Service was fantastic, we never had to wait more than a few minutes for anything we needed. The cocktails, while pricey, were fabulous. The food was phenomenal. Overall, with higher-than-average prices and higher-than-average quality, this restaurant is great for special occasions or the occasional, top-notch night out.
Excellent food, great service and just such a lovely evening every single time.
We had a great time. Patria was recommend and lived up to expectation. Great food, cool spot, awesome service.
tiny portions... do not order the shrimp . 4 small shrimp.lol ridiculous
paella was very good.
i would recommend ordering a larger paella and skip all the apps
Service was personal and attentive and casual and extra special. Food was amazing. I’d order all the same things all over again!
Great meal. Croquetas were warm and tasty. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts. Cocktails were fun and interesting. Desserts were great. Only disappointment was the octopus. Tough.
Excellent vibe on a Saturday night...busy place with great smells from the open kitchen cooking away at capacity. The tapas share plates keep coming, if you keep ordering...
The Patatas Bravas was very bland, it lacked tasted and seasoning.
The desert menu was very disappointing! To be honest, by far the worse restaurant I’ve been too in terms of deserts. Waste of money!
Lovely food and great service! Very pleasant evening and would definitely go back!
Great food. Sangria a bit watered down. Service was stellar. You have to try the hen paella and the empanadas. It was all super tasty. Would visit again for sure.
Wow, exceptionally authentic menu with nothing pretentious about it. A thousand year old menu in a totally modern space.
I arrived and the lady put me aside and served 2 other tables of similar size that arrived after me. Then they said the tables are all full, and asked me to wait a few minutes. The wait was a total of 30 minutes which is ridiculous considering I shouldn't even have had to wait, and all they gave me was a glass of champagne that I didn't even want. Instead they should have thrown in free appetizers or something better than a glass of champagne. This hasn't happened to me before but the way they dealt with the problem was not acceptable for such a high end restaurant. Food and our server were good as always though.
As others have mentioned, the food is excellent (and pricey) but serving portions are small. Service was excellent. Would definitely go back again.
Friendly server, food came relatively quick and efficient. On time. Food was hot and delicious. The organic wine was amazing. I wish the portions were a bit bigger but the taste, uniqueness and presentation made up for that a bit.
It was an amazing restaurant with beautiful decoration, friendly staff, and delicious food!
Small portions for the price, even for a tapas restaurant
Great food, atmosphere, service and location. We were very satisfied with our choice!
Arguably one of the best Spanish tapas restaurant in Toronto. One of my goto places to dine when I'm in the downtown core; the ambience in the summer is absolutely amazing, if your lucky enough to get a patio seating in the warmer months you are in for a quiet and reserved seating that makes the romantic date extra special. The food and service is the highlight of this place, come hungry and definitely try the paella which is chalk full of some of the finest and freakish meats, vegetables and seafood in the city. Their small plates especially the chorizo croquette fills the hunger void while your paella is made fresh to order, be warned the paella takes 45 mins. The staff and service is by far one of the best I've seen, extremely knowledgeable and consistent as well as extremely personable. The restaurant is on a bit of the pricey side, although definitely worth it.
The menu is extremely limited. Tapas lacked variety & refinement (I have been to Spain & experienced the real thing). . Meatballs entrée was heavily spiced, lacking intriguing combination of flavours. Calimari was correctly cooked, but with only seven or eight pieces was insufficient. The two vegetable side dishes were delicious. Sangria was also good. In short, the meal was poor value. The reason I chose Patria was that it happened to be a convenient location.
The food was excellent and the service was fantastic. Very romantic.
Food was excellent but a bit pricey. Loved all the tapas plates. Don't know what can be done about the noise level, but it is very difficult to carry on a normal conversation. Nevertheless, still worth a visit.
Brunch service was slow given the few tables there. Overall the quality of food is great, but a tad overpriced.
Nice ambiance. Good food. Great staff
We were two couples who went on the recommendation of someone else. The food was delicious and although this is a tapas restaurant we left feeling more than satisfied. The waiter was very helpful in picking dishes and suggesting the right amount for us to order. The dessert (cheesecake) was tasty but in my opinion not worth the calories or cost.
Wonderful meal. Best grilled octopus. So tender. We had 5 dishes as recommended by our server. The grilled shrimp, the dates wrapped with bacon and manchego and the octopus were my favs.
Server caused the experience to be sub par.
She didn't work with us in explaining the menu properly . We told her we were Hungry had long day nd to recommend items that come out quickly ..she couldn't even do that properly. The wine was lovely. She didn't even say what her favorites are or ask us if we want to dessert.
Amazing food save for the paella. Burnt with some parts being cold and others being steaming hot. Only saving grace was the chicken.
Service was amazing! Great girl!
Absolutely phenomenal. The empanadas and meatballs are to die for. One of the best, if not the best, Spanish restaurant I've ever eaten at. Highly recommend
Fantastic food, service and ambiance. Perfect little bites to savour and share!
Great location and wonderful ambiance. We dinned outside and had a lovely evening. Waiter was very attentive and food was delicious.
Fantastic meal and atmosphere. Love the restaurant and the servers were very knowledgable and kept my water topped up at all times.
Great food and service.
