The ambiance is great but the menú was very weak. Paella wasn't anything close to what a real paella is. It was dry and lacked taste. I think we tried everything in the menu to overcome our hunger but nothing really amazed us or filled our stomachs. The cocktails and the house red wine was good. I recommend this place for after dinner drinks at the bar but not for a proper meal. The service and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall, menu was disappointing.
Amazing food, awesome service!! Will definitely be dining there again!
Amazing food and service and I do not usualy leave reviews but had to be shared
Incredible service, incredible food and an incredible evening. Highly recommend to those who enjoy seafood because the menu is limited otherwise. The bottles of wine start at a high price point too, but we enjoyed ourselves enough to look past it.
Had lots of fun despite it being freezing outside. I love dis place
Was there with a couple friends last night. My friend ordered the shrimp and mushroom croquettes. Neither of which were outstanding. I had initially told the host that I was looking for a drink that wasn’t overly sweet and he offered the special Manhattan which was very sweet. Neither the host or server asked if it was good.
My last visit was outstanding. Was there for an anniversary. We showed up to 2 glasses of complimentary champagne and the food was amazing!
Amazing! The patio was so warm and the service was fantastic
They gave us Cava for our anniversary, which was our second in lockdown. The heaters kept us warm enough, but you can only do so much with -20C temperatures. Staff was great and so was the food
Must visit. Will be returning
The food was superb, however due to the limited amount of working heaters for the outside patio - my party and I found it a bit uncomfortable.
Other persons apart from my party felt the same.
Great food and great drinks, would recommend a visit
We booked a table for 7.30pm. We got lost because we’re here in Toronto for business trip so not familiar with the area. So we were running late. Tried to call the restaurant to let them know but nobody picked up the phone. It wasn’t an option to leave a message. The call just hung up at the end.
We got to the restaurant at 7.48pm (even though they say they’d keep the table for 15mins on the website), we were late only a few mins, but they gave our table away and made us wait for another table. So not too happy about that.
Food was okay.
Service is really slow.
The patio is okay. Just about warm enough for you to enjoy the food.
Waiter argued with my date and created an embarrassing situation, but the manager resolved the issue. Cold patio, but was to be expected.
Excellent service as always great staff and great knowledge in wine
Amazing food, service, and ambiance. Wine list recommendations were spot on.
The food and service could have been way better. I sent a private note with specifics.
The NYE set menu food was amazing but the service was not.
I understand that the new Covid regulations (no drinks after 10, restaurants must close at 11) must have been a hassle to deal with, but given the price of the food I expected better.
First of all, they sent me 3 different emails with a time change for our reservation, and when I called multiple times throughout the week they never answered me or answered my messages.
We got to the restaurant at 8:20, 10 minutes early for our reservation, and were told we will be notified when a table opens up. The front was packed with other guests who were not seated on time, and if we hadn't overheard someone complaining to the hostess, we wouldn't have known that we would be waiting for a very long time since the hostess didn't mention it. Good thing we overheard because we went for a walk to kill time. We ended up being seated at 9:30.
The waitress forgot to bring us our drink and a straw we asked for, and then when everyone was getting the remainder of their food packed up we also didn't get one of the courses we ordered. However after asking they gave it to us and also gave us extra brussel sprouts.
It's a shame we weren't able to order drinks as we pleased since the wait time made us start dinner later than planned and the new Covid rule didn't allow for drinks after 10.
The wait staff were all very polite, and as mentioned, I'm sure it wasn't easy for them given that the restaurant was overbooked. The food was really delicious too, I just don't understand how such a nice restaurant could be so unorganized. I don't see why management didn't just call or email everyone who had a reservation after 9:30 to cancel or reschedule.
We had to wait 90 minutes for a table. When we arrived for our 8:30 reservation, the place was in chaos--about twenty people trying to speak with the receptionist at the same time. The receptionist told us the seating would be in half an hour. We waited in a part of the restaurants used for summertime. It was cold, although there were some overhead heaters that helped. We went there to celebrate New Year's at $125 per plate. I assumed at that price we would be getting a drink or two included. No, it was just the food. We had a bottle of wine. The price? Seventy dollars. The first two plates were good, but then we were told that we could no longer stay to eat the main course, the side dish, and the dessert because the restaurant was closing owing to Covid regulations. The management waived the price of the wine. The bill? $600.
after tax and tip. We celebrated New Year's Eve by walking down King Stree, brown bag in hand with the rest of our meal in it, to be eaten the next day. All of this could have been resolved by better management. The restaurant needs to get a better handle on the number of guests that can eat in a comfortable atmosphere at one time. The experience was overpriced. The waitress tried her best under difficult circumstances The evening was a complete disaster.
It was New Year’s Eve and they had a fixed menu that was espectacular live flamenco music and really good service despite the amount of people
They overbooked for NYE, and they had to turn away people at the door. Waited almost an hour for our reservation. Great service once we were sat. Great wine selection. Great food.
We had an 8:00 reservation for their New Year’s Eve fixed menu. When we arrived the place was chaos. We were told “10 minutes” and well… that turned into finally being sat at 9:30.
Food was either over or under cooked depending on the course. Some even cold when they arrived. It was clear they did NOT figure out how to do a fixed menu in bulk.
The food started to arrive and they basically put all 4 courses on the table at once, leaving little room to enjoy or even taste all of them.
10:40 arrived , we were barely finished the final course and they turned the lights on and handed us our desserts in to-go bags….
$125 fixed menu and we were rushed out the door without even being able to enjoy most of the meal and dessert in a bag.
Had a great New Year Eve at Partia
Very busy NYE. Lovely prix fixe menu, but timing was all off. Waited over an hour for 1st course, more waiting for second course. Then third and fourth came at the same time. They comped us a round of drinks for our trouble which was nice. Very good food and flamenco was a bonus.
NYE preset dinner took 3.5+ hours with gaps of upto 1 hour between meal courses. Simple requests about dishes were also forgotten or ignored 🤷♂️
Staff were slightly apologetic and a small amount of compensation was given, but still a subpar experience considering the heightened NYE pricing.
Food took 3 hours total to come out entirely. Generally was a bit overpriced for the quality and service was mediocre.
It appears that my table was given to someone else as when I got there their seemed to be a bit of confusion and couldn’t find my reso and we were just stuffed in between two couples in the bar area. Also appears that whoever sat at my reserved table bills is under my app, as this is not what we ordered…. Food and server were great otherwise.
Delicious! We have been several times and it never disappoints.
Crowded so if you are concerned with COVID it is worth noting.
Amazing restaurant! Delicious food and top notch service. Highly recommend.
Great food, the albondingas were by far the best, wonderful cocktails, relatively loud but the ambiance was overall relaxing and interesting. Highly recommend for a date or special occasion; a little pricey in general but not unreasonable. Portions on the smaller side as it’s tapas
Very good overall but the paella was the weakest link and it’s should’ve been the highlight!
Music was too Loud. Had to shout to get heard.
For a restaurant where conversation is important that should not be
Lovely Spanish fare, and a staff that made our special occasion feel extra special.
We always enjoy Patria and this dinner was no exception. The dates are my favorite, we have them every visit. We tried the Paella last night, very good. The service was also exceptional which seem to be rare these day. Highly recommend Patria.
It was great. Staff were awesome. Keep up the great work.
I love all the tapas here - drinks are also good. The paella takes like 45 minutes to get out and is a bit too salty but otherwise everything is pretty good!
Always a reliable standby. We did have to wait 30 mins after our reservation for a table -- management was apologetic and gave us complimentary drinks, though being able to sit on time would have been even better!
Too loud to have a conversation
Great atmosphere and excellent service.
Food was delicious
Only to mention that Patatas bravas should be “spicy (hot)”. It was too sweet…what it is unsual for this dish
