Great meal at Patria. Meal was fantastic - post opening service kinks still being worked on detracted a bit from the experience but overall a wonderful place.
Rated ambiance lower as we’re seated on the street side patio. It was loud and not the greatest spot. Would have preferred the patio at the restaurant as opposed to street. Otherwise everything was perfect. Delicious food and server was awesome.
Maybe they have a different chef/ staff but for Spanish tapas the food is not authentic enough. And portions are smaller than tapas we’ve had in Spain & North America. Save your money.
Pros: Our server Amanda was excellent. She made our disappointment more palatable with her positive attitude & timely service. Atmosphere was good for a covered outdoor patio. Food quality & service was excellent.
-Paella seafood (which still supposed to have chorizo & snails). Such a disappointment. We’ve had it in Madrid, Barcelona & Valencia plus our former nanny used to make it for us. Hers was way better. We know our paella! Lol!
-Octopus: cut up so small & spread out over the plate & cheated by putting it on a bite-size sliver of potato (probably to fill u up cuz the octopus would not)!
Nothing different from grilled Octopus elsewhere. Colossus’ octopus is much better & quantity is triple the size for half the price!
We stopped ordering after the paella came (sadly it came last). It’s a nice spot but don’t come expecting authentic Spanish tapas or you’ll be disappointed.
Great food and amazing service!!
Salty food. Food wasn’t spectacular and kind of a let down. Too refined dinning when everything are tapas, hard to share nibbles. You needed 3-4 plates a person to be satisfied and more to be full
I was craving Spanish tapas and it more than satisfied my cravings!!! Every dish was amazing (especially the dates).
Great restaurant, perfect for dates (especially around the back!). Noise level was good, very imtimate and romantic. Menu was mostly in Spanish which made it difficult to figure out what you're ordering. Try the red Sangria!
Amazing meal, great ambiance, sheltered from rain, Nathan was an amazing and attentive server, great flow to the meal!
Staff were amazing
The sangria is tasty would recommend
Small plates for high price
Well food quality is pretty unacceptable. It’s very small portion and nothing really special and too pricey
We loved our evening. The staff was amazing, making spot on recommendations that we loved. Specifically, the shrimp, bacon wrapped dates and oxtail were amazing. We will be back!
Amazing manager, food and services!! Thank you !!!
AMAZING experience overall. Loved the food, paella is a must try and they have options for everyone. Loved that they have a in house sommelier, Steve if I recalled correctly (or Scott?), who helped us decided on a bottle of Syrah. Excellent service, very attentive and polite. Inclusive environment, fine dining but not pretentious. Looking forward to coming back!
Amazing experience!! Service was top notch, food was awesome (Patria Paella, Gambas and patatas bravas), red sangria was so good too. Will come back for sure!
Great service, even better food!
Great service! Food was ok, a bit salty
Service was great, food came quickly and our server made excellent recommendations. Paella was delicious, although maybe could have had more rice. Outdoor seating was comfortable and restaurant wasn’t too loud
Great ambiance for date!
The food was beautiful, ambiance was magic and staff were 100%!
Excellent atmosphere and service! Highly recommend for tapas and drinks
This was our first dinner at Patria since before Covid and it was exceptional. The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. We couldn’t have been happier with our night. Thank you, we will absolutely be back!
First time at Patria. Really enjoyed the overall experience. Great food and service. Felt like there was a lot of staff supporting to make sure everything went smoothly. Will definitely come back!
The outdoor patio is beautiful. Food was wonderful and the wait staff were great. An overall great experience and the portion for the paella we ordered was more than enough for myself and my friend.
TERRIBLE tapas. I would only go back for the paella and only get the paella. We’re running 5 mins late and we decided to call to give them a heads up. Once we arrived, we were told twice by the hostess that we’ll have to give the table back at a set time. Once we were seated, we were told again by our waiter that we would have to give the table back at a certain time. Before asking us anything, introducing himself, getting us water, we were told we had to leave 3 times… at that point, we felt terribly unwelcomed and unwanted at the restaurant. I understand letting us know once, but 3 times over the span of 5 minutes before we even sat down was a little ridiculous. Their patio space was subpar and this was once of the worst dining experience I’ve had in a while. 0/5 if I could.
Waited 2 hours for food. We were compensated for the long wait but unfortunate that we were forced to wait until 11pm to receive the food. This is not the first time I have been to Patria and Every time has been fantastic except this one. Disappointed but food was always good.
We had a reservation and were not seated until 45 minutes later. Once we were finally seated, after just ordering some food to start our evening, our server said “the chef would like to shut the kitchen down are you done with ordering food?” I found that comment disappointing given we had just been seated almost an hour late and with a reservation. While the chef would like to close the kitchen down, customers would also like to be seated in a timely manner, especially with a reservation. I’ve been to Patria many times and this was unfortunately a disappointing experience.
Food was great! Service could have been more attentive and involved!
Very well appointed outdoor seating with overhead protection from the elements.
Excellent service and great food.
Brilliant meal. Paella was outstanding and the three additional items we got were great as well, one of which was the chocolate pudding dessert. Was decent value for the prices as well.
The overall experience was below average, I would not even recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. The waiter, Bryce, had an attitude from the time I walked in to the moment we paid the bill. We waited 30 minutes to even order food because the waiter did not come to our table but was serving everyone around us so we had to ask the supervisor for food and got no follow-up service after that. Once we got our bills which we had to flag someone done to bring us, the waiter came and asked us to split our own bill and tell him what we got! For the high price we paid for the mediocre food you would think we would receive better service. Would not recommend, go somewhere else.
It’s been a few years since I last visited Patria and it was very much like my first experience- amazing. My craving was specific- tapas and paella. Both did not disappoint!!
Amazing food and great service! Will be returning.
Very good food. Small sharable dishes. Nice cocktails and ambiance outside. The paella especially was very good!
Food is horrible and completely overpriced. Service was the only thing that was good.
The paella is amazing! We also tried many other tapas and sangria and were not disappointed~~ Definitely will be visiting again!
Amazing evening! The food was delicious and the ambiance was perfect despite the rain!
It was raining & windy and they were unable to move us to a table in the covered patio area. I understand the restrictions during covid, but it would be nice if they had some kind of a back up plan. Food & service were fantastic, but the experience was marred by the weather.
The food is good but it’s not the best paella… its a good a rice with seafood… very good attention and service.
Food and service was fantastic! Would highly recommend.
Everything was perfect but 1.5 hrs is too short
