Attended what we hoped would be a quiet, elegant dinner at Peller Estates. Unbeknownst to us, the vineyard was offering an outdoor “party” that was essentially a full-on, tailgate party including very loud band. When we arrived, we were directed to a field to park in rather than the proper restaurant parking (and argued with by parking security attendants). The restaurant acknowledged and apologized for this. Once inside and seated in a very nice restaurant, less than 4 feet outside the glass window was over a hundred people partying and enjoying a very loud band. This event completely destroyed any possibility of a pleasant, enjoyable meal in a vineyard.
The restaurant did not advise that this event was occurring otherwise we would have saved the time and effort of going. The restaurant apologized for the inconvenience and offered a $20 bottle of wine as a gift- that, notwithstanding the kindness of the gesture, does not replace the point of the dinner nor the enjoyment of it. In fact, kind of cheapened what I think was an otherwise sincere apology. Would have preferred an offer to return under better conditions- and assurances of a a better time.
Can recommend the food which was excellent. But, be very careful to call ahead and specifically ask if there is something going on that might disrupt a quiet dinner.

The restaurant is becoming too noisy, too casual and is poorly managed - mandatory dress code should help, children under 12 should not be allowed, "loud" customers with base ball hats should be reprimanded, doors to the yard should be closed at all times as opposed to being opened by children/adults without respect to customers sitting at the windows when outside service is "off". Very undisciplined and uncontrolled view of a place, which could be a top-notch spot for a high-class dining.

MISMANAGED and OVERPRICED, because of lack of all of the above...

There was an outdoor festival on, which looked fun for them, but just meant loud bass and nondescript faint music rumbling the restaurant. Our server could not say more than a few words about the wines, highly surprising for a winery! Food was very good, but not excellent, some slightly salty, others contained distracting common flavours like bacon (in the lobster linguini, a cop out for a dish that should highlight the subtle flavour of fresh lobster!). Great surroundings.

This was an extremely disappointing dining experience. We were not informed of the food truck festival when we make a reservation, when the reservation was confirmed and when I called in to change the dining time. Three possible opportunities to inform us and nothing....and it completely wrecked our experience. We had eagerly anticipated a calming vineyard experience away from the hustle and bustle. Sadly, we were seated right at the window merely 1-2 feet away from partygoers who even tried to enter the restaurant through the dining doors. Our $500 plus dinner for 4 came with def leopard tunes and drunk dancing party goers. The manager on site did not address our concerns, which were raised, and offered us a token glass of ice wine for “our trouble”. As none of us like icewine, we politely declined. We paid full price for this horrific experience and felt severely disappointed by the entire evening. Unbelievable and unacceptable.

Good food, service might be improved, wine service was not done by the server during the dinner. Outside event was quite noisy and kind of ruined the romantic ambience of the restaurant

The price of the food is very overvalued. My biggest complain is about ordering the tasting menu where if one of the group orders it, then all the individuals in the group MUST order it as well which is absurd. You cannot order a mixture of a la carte and tasting menu which is very strange. The menu also does not mention this requirement when ordering the tasting menu and the waiter did not even mention this to let the customer be aware and waste time when taking the order to find out that the tasting menu must be order by all the individuals in the group, 2 or more... Kind of disappointing. A year ago we were able to order the tasting menu along with a la carte. I also said the food value is over valued and an example is the heirloom salad i ordered which cost $12.00 and it only 3 half lettuce leaves and a slice of very small carrots. At least 3 full leave would probably more acceptable for the price. Anyhow, i find the food is overpriced compared to the vintage hotels that we frequent, like Pillar and Post and Queens Landing.

Great spot to eat before or after a winery tour or tastings. A little pricy and the menu is a bit limited but we always enjoy our visits there.

My date and I went to the Peller Estate Winery for their Food Truck party in the vineyard. We thought that we would check out their restaurant first. The ambiance and service at this restaurant is world class. Very attentive servers!! We enjoyed the halibut dish, which was prepared to perfection! I will highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys ( demands) first class cuisine!!

Went for lunch at the Peller Estates Winery Restaurant with my boyfriend and aunt. We started with a cheese platter (brie , cheddar and blue cheese) followed by our appetizers. Then, we each had our meal and our desserts at the end. We also paired our meals with a delicious glass of red wine and got a complementary glass of sparkling wine. We highly recommend this restaurant if you have a bit extra to spend on good food and fancy ambiance.

Nice view of the vineyard, attentive services and attentive services.. Not too many items on the menu however I find all items on the menu are curated to the best extent out of the ingredients. Portion is not big so one can finish starter, main course and have room to enjoy dessert as well

Perhaps my favorite place for a Dining experience when in Niagara-On-The-Lake. My wife and I settled in for the full five course meal with the wine pairing which started with a complementary glass of sparking wine in celebration of our anniversary. Absolutely delicious melt in your month trout served for the third course will be long remembered. My deep thanks to the chef and staff.

The restaurant seems to have lost some of its lustre. The menu is a little too limited. The three of us are quite flexible and eat out frequently but struggled to find acceptable options. There really was only one appetizer I would consider ordering and only two or three of the main courses. We all feel that the portions were a bit too small and we are not big eaters. The service was unenthusiastic.
All in all we expect better for what we paid. We've eaten at Peller a number of times but will be trying other spots in NOTL for at least a while.

Doesn’t get much better than this. Have dined here 4-5 times per year for decades (since the property opened). The blind tasting menu was once again a very positive “foodie experience”. While not inexpensive, the quality of the ingredients and portion sizes justify the price point. Well selected wine pairings and generous by the glass pours for each course. Creativity shines through without being too out there. Staff training and experience is obvious and makes for an enjoyable dining experience. The hit of the multi-course offering this evening was the lamb tenderloin......absolutely delicious!

Waitress was excellent and made appropriate recommendations re food and drink. We requested a table immediately in front of the fireplace and were accommodated. Staff were concerned for the well-being of our guide dog, but, when assured that he would be safe they acted as if he were not there. All-in-all it was a most pleasant evening.

My partner and I went to Peller for our 6 year anniversary. The ambiance as soon as you enter the restaurant is breathtaking. We were immediately greeted, sat, and offered complementary Cuvée to celebrate. Dinner was delicious (as was expected) but the most striking thing was the most amazing staff. The staff were polite, had such an abundance of knowledge on Wine and the fine dining experience, and overall were just pleasant people. All together, this place is definitely a place you should check out if you want to celebrate by eating good food and drinking amazing wine while being surrounded by good people.
