We went for a late lunch with 2 of our friends. We very rarely go out for a fancy meal but thought what the heck. We paid a large amount of money for what they call a “blind” menu ($99 meal and &50 wine) $140 each. Based on the feedback online, we expected food that wasn’t cheap and wine that was paired well as well as more than 2 oz of wine for each of the 5 courses. 3 of the 5 wines were sweet. The main was an overdone/dry chicken breast which didn’t qualify at this level of restaurant and expected quality. The portions were tiny, which we mostly expected. The sitting ended up being 2.5 hrs based on their serving speed etc, which we did enjoy as we chatted with our friends. Ambience was in a relatively formal dining room which also was nice. The servers were attnentive. We would have been much better off ordering a bottle of nice wine and ordering a la carte.

Very good food and wine pairings (tasting menu with wine pairings) in a beautiful setting overlooking the vineyard. If the 6th course - Lobster Linguine is offered - definitely go for it! Fabulous - if only it was a larger portion!
Definitely finished up feeling very satisfied - maybe a little too satisfied! :p

The food and wine pairing were wonderful, we ate things that we normally would have ordered and they tasted great. Every course was like a little surprise. My husband kept saying the atmosphere was so relaxing.

Fantastic 6 courses with wine pairing. The ice wine poached lobster truffled linguine with double smoked bacon in a chardonnay cream sauce with parmesan & basil was heavenly.

We were pleased with the overall experience with the exception of some confusion between the restaraunt and the wine tasting room. The restaraunt sent us to the wine tasting room and told us that we would get $5 dollars off any purchase we made if we told them we were dinning at the restaraunt. So we went and tasted wine, purchased wine and got our discount after which we were told we would get an additional 10% off out dinner if we showed the restaraunt the reciept of our purchase from the wine room. The restaraunt did not know of anything of this discount and although the evening was lovely, we left a bit dissatisfied. Would have been better if we had not been offered anything. Peller needs to have a few coordinating meetings between their tasting/retail operation staff and the restaraunt staff to kick it up a notch from "very good" to "outstanding".

Had a great time at Peller in Friday 7-6. We had the chef 5 course meal and were not disappointed. The wine pairings were excellent and brought out the best in the food and wine. We left the meal comfortably full.
Natasha and her service team provided excellent service that was attentive and personable.
Only recommended change would be to limit music to either the audio system or the live entertainment by bar/grill area. We were inside main dining room but had the doors open and the music competed which was the only distraction to the diner.
We bought a number of bottles wines for our cellar which added to our evening at Peller Eatates.

My husband and I went here for dinner and elected to try the 5 course chef menu. Our server was ok, not overly courteous and seemed to attend to other tables more than ours. We ordered a bottle of wine and after finishing the first glass, waited to be poured a second glass. Unfortunately that never happened and my husband had to get up and pour it ourselves. The food was good - the best being a halibut and fried escargot, as well as a seared pork belly dish. The outdoor seating area overlooking the vineyard was beautiful, but again, service fell short. For the price, I would not return.

It was not our first wine pairing experience at Peller's and we love it each time. The food is outstanding and our waiter Collin was very knowledgeable about the wines and accommodated our individual tastes and requests. I am gluten-intolerant, but because the food is cooked from scratch, that has never been a problem in this restaurant. We opted for six courses this time (usually we do five) and found that six was just more food than we could handle, but it was all delicious. The wines matched the food perfectly. It has always been a wonderful treat to come to this restaurant.

The setting is absolutely lovely. Although I felt the service was slow, the staff was very professional. The presentation of the meals was well executed. My entrée had a very fishy smell and taste. When I returned to our bed and breakfast after dinner, I was immediately sick. My husband's fish was excellent. Our friend's beef was very tough and hard to cut. He did speak to the waitress after he ate it and she did offer another entrée. The wines that we chose were very nice. Overall, I feel that our dinner was over priced.

Hostess was not at all warm or friendly. ..I would say quite miserable. We were seated in a high traffic area out to the patio and although it was our anniversary, noted on the reservation, it was not even mentioned or acknowledged in any way. Terrible table with the staff in and out serving food on the patio. Very limited choice for lunch, very small portions., very expensive for what you got. The gravlox was terrible, I passed it to my husband not to waste it...tasteless and very strong fish odour, unlike smoked salmon.
They started with a complimentary pate. I bit down on a hard pellet and brought it to their attention..they explained it was cartilage which turned my stomach. Almost cracked a tooth.
The manager apologized and said he would "do something for us". At the end they credited the bill for one appetizer.... $16.00. With tip the bill was $176.00 for two appetizers and two entrees and a bottle of wine.
We go there every year as a treat and in the past thought it was lovely...special. I can say that generally speaking the staff were "flat" and disinterested in making it a good experience.

Such a disappointment.

The lunch at the Peller Estates Winery Restaurant was good but not great. The food did not live up to the atmosphere of formal white linen tablecloths and Parisian-style waiter uniforms. On the four-course menu, the gravlax had texture but no flavour. The variation of eggs benedict was good. The cream in the pasta with cream sauce and truffles was in evidence but there was no flavour of truffles which was the principal attraction.

Pretty location but certainly did not merit the eventual cost. All in all a disappointing and over-priced outing.

Encountered some difficulties trying to be seated on the patio. Reservations are not taken for the patio specifically although tables were set aside for parties yet to arrive. Eventually we were accommodated but I still don’t understand the initial problem.

Party of four had the five course tasting menu paired with wine. Food was well presented and tasty but a bit lacking compared to passed visits. Felt service was average based on price.

Great ambiance and well maintained.

Will return based on past experience but recency bias would suggest to go somewhere else for better value (Two Sisters, Backhouse, Pearl Morsette)

We enjoyed a lovely chefs menu on the occasion of my birthday. It was the centrepiece for our travel to Niagara on the Lake and the service, food and wine did not disappoint. The servers were knowledgeable about the food they served and also provided answers to our questions about the property in general. My only "surprise" came with the cost of the pasta course we added. It was absolutely delicious but did feel the additional price was a little dear. Otherwise, I recommend this to anyone looking to have a wonderful food and wine experience, and delightful evening.

Dinner at Peller is the epitome of fine dining. From the moment we were seated, we knew our dining experience would be in great hands.

We celebrated our 20th anniversary at Peller, and five years later, we were back to celebrate our 25th.

Some of the courses we were treated to on this occasion were lobster linguini, halibut, pork belly, rabbit saddle and our main course was a perfectly cooked beef tenderloin. The danish butter cake for dessert was a great way to finish things off. We also enjoyed the wine pairings with each of the courses.

Service at Peller is about as close to perfect as you can ask for. Many of the staff have been there for years and it shows. The support staff is also at the top of their game.

There are not enough superlatives that can be used about Peller. Thanks to everyone for making our Silver Anniversary dinner so special.
