What an incredible venue. As most finer dining, the portions were smaller. However, what did come out on the dish was nothing short of amazing. Will certainly return, even with a 2.5 hr commute one way. It was that worth it.
Lovely winery in Niagara on the Lake offering good food and good service. Their Sunday 3 course lunch menus with ice wine is an excellent deal.
Incredible service and atmosphere. Was a little disappointed with the main meal.
For fine dining, the food was just not that good at all. Portions were tiny and they managed to make the cheesecake taste like cheese with herbs. Service was great, the food, not so much.
The location, service and ambience was amazing. The appetizers were great but the mains were not up to par with the pricing!
When a dish is smoked then it should be indicated on the menu! Did not send back as it was late and we could not wait to have something else. Also the lobster pasta needed more lobster. We were not unhappy but not going to hurry back! Wines were awesome!
Peller Estates is part of our annual pilgrimage to Niagara-on-the-Lake. The food and wine are always excellent; the service is impeccable. The dining room overlooks Peller’s lush vineyards.
The hostess, kept us standing around for 10 minutes as we waited for her to decide to show up and seat us for our 6:15 pm reservation. I was seated facing the entrance and a wall yet the restaurant had ample tables available. The server followed several minutes later, and it seemed like long delays between following up to take our order and deliver our appetizers and entre’s. My duck was ordered medium and was served well done, overcooked to say the least and tough. I would not recommend this restaurant.
Wine snobs need not turn up their noses at Niagara region vineyards. The dinner we had, and the wines paired with the food, were really good. The staff, the food, the ambiance and the food were all good ambassadors for the region. Wines are not just limited to icewine. Peller Estates' restaurant had good cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay and pinot gris. Highly recommend this restaurant, and we will be making this restaurant a tradition.
I would definitely recommend this restaurant. The food is phenomenal. The presentation is lovely. The service is terrific. And lastly, the atmosphere of the restaurant is very nicely decorated, but more so the view from our window table was truly stunning.
Every year amazing!! The food is excellent and service outstanding
Had a lovely lunch with a friend - we opted for their price fixed special which included starter, Main, dessert & wonderful sparking wine. Excellent value - food was delicious & well presented. Fortunately it was great weather day so we enjoyed lunch on the patio. Will definitely like to visit again!
It was a superb experience. Food was great, service was on point, and the best scenery with sunset.
very nice staff
We enjoyed a lovely evening on the patio. The food was delicious and our waitron knowledgeable, professional and efficient. Very memorable.
Food and service qualities were superb. But they are so many flies inside the restaurant which was somehow annoying.
Food was overpriced. The wine could have been cheaper as well.
We have been going to this fine restaurant for years and have always enjoyed the four or five course wine tasting menu. We have often taken friends or relatives with us. My husband is a Peller Estates Member.
The food have always been very good and was again this time. BUT this time there were flies all around our table! ....landing on our food, crawling across the bread, across the butter, etc. One fell into my wine. We spent the entire meal shooing away countless flies. When we mentioned this to the wait staff they treated it laughingly. One excuse given was the wet season. We have also had a wet season in Burlington and I do not have flies in my dining room, nor should they!
They have to do better. Flies around a dining table are disgusting and unclean.
Peller was wonderful as always. Had a great time introducing my daughter great food and wine and how to pair them together.
Great place great dinner!!! We did the tasting menu and every course was better than the previous one. Definitely would recommend for a special occasion.
We had an anniversary lunch here. What a delight. Service was impeccable, food was delicious. We had the “brunch” option of an appetizer, main and dessert. It was a perfect choice. We enjoyed our experience very much. It will be a place we take guests and go again, as a couple.
We come here for lunch every year and we thoroughly enjoy it! The grounds are beautiful. The menu consists of French-Canadian cuisine that is outstanding! The service is top-notch! We look forward to next year!
Lovely venue. Very nice waitress. Excellent food. Menu was a little limited, but fine.
Love how this year at Peller Estates they had some music outside. I made our day and the guy that was playing was really good. I hope they continue this theme as it was very nice to enjoy the food and listen to nice music and not loud or noisy.
A lovely spot with an interesting menu and the chance to try some Peller Estates wines with a delicious salmon dish. Dining on the pretty patio-with-a-vineyard view on a nice summer day was a treat that embodied "wine country." The inside restaurant was also stylish with well-spaced tables.
Good food, good service and a very lovely setting. We were sitting on the backyard patio with a view on the vineyards. Fabulous, a great experience.
Nous avons fêter notre anniversaire de mariage a peller estate et c'était que juste WOW!!! La perfection . Nous avons pris le menu dégustation avec l'accord des vins!! Je le recommande
The food was a little bland. Didn't live up to the diamond status. Atmosphere is outstanding and so is the wine. I'd recommend going here for wine and appetizers or lunch.
Portions were very small and too expensive. I spent $365 and left the restaurant hungry
We had an excellent lunch on a Friday afternoon. We ordered the prix fixe lunch. Two of us did the wine parings. Each food course arrived timely and was very good. Service was very attentive. Water was always filled to the rim. We recommend eating here.
Their service was great except the previous guest complained as the service at the patio was bad. Tables were not cleaned properly as bread crumbs were all over the table. Other than that experience overhaul very good.
Lovely anniversary lunch with a complimentary glass of sparkling ice wine rose.
Unfortunately the service was slow. The guest mentioned because U were short staffed.
Awesome service and food as usual. Really loved the summer special lunch menu. Very good deal.
I read the reviews before we went so I knew the food portions were going to be small but even still it was much much less than we could have imagined. Every single person was starving after. The food that they did plate was good but none of the dishes blew us away and we had a bit of everything (i.e. pork belly, salads, soups, veal, duck, fish, lobster linguini, etc. ). What was most unfortunate was the service. If you're going to try to be a fine dining restaurant with Michelin star portions and high prices then your service better be amazing. It wasn't. It was my birthday and we waited 40 minutes to be seated. There was no "happy birthday" from the host or server. And as I said the food was bite size and just ok. I've had far better meals at Trius and Two Sisters. We even loved our last visit to Caroline Cellars that has such delicious food for a fraction of the price. Trust me and the other people writing honest reviews of this place and go elsewhere, you'll be happy you did, I know I wish I had.
The chef's tasting was spectacular. And the service flawless. Coupled with a magnificent view of the Peller vineyard. What else can you say? A first-rate experience all around.
The food was well prepared. Staff very helpful and professional. Too many people during the summer time using the dinning facility which gave the impression that the restaurant was understaffed.
Très cher pour la qualité offerte
Everything was perfect. The food service and setting was perfect. The Moffit Inn had a shuttle to and from the Estate which was also perfect.
We had the tasting menu and have had those at many fine restaurants. While the presentation was very nice and the dishes were a nice variety, we felt they were under seasoned and lacked a depth of flavor that we have experienced with other tasting menus. In addition, it must be noted that the 5 courses took approximately 2 1/2 hours to serve. We waited over 25 minutes after the wine was poured for the 4th course to be served. In fairness, the server compted us a cheese plate in recognition of the delay. Because of the above factors, primarily the somewhat bland food, we will probably not return.
Perfect way to celebrate my Birthday, 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings was wonderful.
