Great for watching NFL Sunday. However, the service was really poor but the food was not bad. There are some decent deals for happy hour but overall experience was average.

Our waitress Kaitlyn was good. After her shift was over we never saw a waitress again. While we were dancing our drinks were gone from the table. Not impressed. We don’t know if someone stole them or if someone partially cleaned off the table cause there was still stuff left on the table.

I like going to persona's. But the service they give at the tables is very bad, I waited an hour and a half for my food. The person who was serving me made a second order and he never brought what I ordered. I have to go to the bar and order it on my own. They are not friendly at all, especially the girl who was serving me. Doesn't have good customer service. And I think it is very rude to ignore a client.

Dan always does an amazing job. We come out to personas for football just because of him. He is always making sure everyone is having a good time and is a team player with helping the serving staff. We recently came out for Saturday night and again Dan did not disappoint. We had a great time and look forward to coming back out for the weekends now too. You are very lucky as a company to have him as one of your managers.

i've been here many times. normally service and food is excellent. but on this visit, it looks like they were short staff. service took way longer than normal, the food was missing a few things. i'll still come back, but this visit was terrible.

We have eaten here a number of times and most of the time it's great. Their Ebi prawn appetizer is one of our favorites. I had a rocket chicken burger and it was delicious and my husband had the Handsome burger which was also good.

I am sorry but the lettuce wraps were dusgusting. I have never had them anywhere else where they were made with dark meat. Just not atvall like normal lettuce wraps anywhere else. took them home but couldnt eat them. what a waste if money

There were 6 in my party. While the server was pleasant, we had to ask several times to refill our water. There was no offer to refill my other drinks either. I was not offered a proper utensil (soup spoon) for my tomato bisque. I was instead given a teaspoon. I was disappointed that an 18% gratuity was automatically added to my bill. My experience has been that automatic gratuities apply to tables of 8 or more. When my bill came, I would have appreciated it if my server had told me the gratuity had already been added. I also had a rewards coupon for a "complementary menu item of equal or lesser value with the purchase of the same item..." when I reviewed the bill, I was told that they selected the "last item on the bill" as complementary. I know this is not correct, or our sever misinterpreted the application. Finally, I was asked for ID when we left the restaurant. (By "asked" I mean "ID"; not "may I please see your ID" but just simply "ID". I was surprised that I needed ID to leave the restaurant so I asked the guy and all he did was point to a sign. Fair enough, this is a new policy. I have no problem with the policy and they are just enforcing the new rule but it would have been nice if I was asked politely. Then my curiosity got to me. I showed my ID to get into the casino; wasn't that sufficient? How else would I have been able to get into the restaurant? So I queried the gentleman asking for ID. He pointed to a door. I didn't understand what he meant with that gesture. I asked again. And he, in a frustrated tone, stated that if I didn't want to show my ID to him, I could leave by the exit door rather than go back into the casino. I then figured out that you can now enter (and exit) Personas via that door to the outside. He could have simply informed me of that but I guess he was too busy being grouchy.

Went there Saturday to celebrate my bday. Food was good, except one of the appies was very small and lettuce was not fresh. Ambiance was okay We noticed that DJ is no longer playing on Saturday only Friday's DJ playing outside in patio for summer time. I think they should have DJ playing Friday & Saturday as it used to be

Servers and host did awesome as far as being understaffed and sent from inside to patio tables. They spent all their time running. We totally felt sorry for them. Food was good. Considering they emailed out coupons to customers they we’re not prepared for turnout. This is a reoccurring problem management needs to rectify.

Due to unforeseen circumstances myself and friend were a bit late for her birthday dinner however, the team member that greeted us at the front allowed us to still have our reserved table of 6. We really appreciated that courtesy. The table was in front of the stage, comfortable seating, and great views of the tv screens as well. Our server Jona J. was fantastic :) she gave us suggestions for good appetizers/drinks and was very attentive and helpful. Excellent service by her. The prawns we had were good, and being from BC we tried Wayne Gretzky’s Pinot Grigio wine and that was nice. Food and drinks were brought in good time. The DJ that Friday night is Great, he plays something for everyone, but the sound is almost too loud.. The outdoor patio and seating is lovely and it’s like being at a lovely resort in California or Vegas, but it’s in beautiful Burnaby. The staff from the restaurant to floor staff at the games areas are all excellent. Wonderful time all around and we do come often here :) Thanks to your whole team at Grand Villa Hotel Resort Casino

Steak was terrible. Lovely server accommodated a replacement of fresh fries. Maybe your cut of meat is bad or needs marinade. Everything else on the plate was awesome. Maybe get rid of the baked tomato. Overall, we had a great time on trivia night

I go to Personas when I'm at the Grand Villa Casino gambling and when I get hungry and want a drink, it's convenient. This time wasn't gambling but went on a sunny day and we sat out on the patio. Service was terrible. Ordered a bottle of wine and the bottle brought was not what we ordered. When she came back with another, as she was pouring, I was watching it splash out of the glass and she spilled onto the table, no apology. Waitress should be taught how to pour and also give a napkin to wipe up the spill. Ordered the Surf & Turf, the steak was so bland, no seasoning on it. Had to ask for salt & pepper, didn't really help. Waitress was leaving and wanted us to settle the bill, which we did. She also said someone else would be checking on you, this did not happen at all. Good thing I check the bill before paying as she didn't make adjustment for the wine. Tried to use my gift cards again, their system wasn't working, so frustrating as this is about my 4th time trying to use it. When we finished our bottle of wine, my last sip had almost a chunk of sediment (gross) and my husband showed sediment at the bottom of his glass. This was a 2021 bottle, not expensive, tasted alright, it was wine but still surprised to see sediment. Decided to ask for manager and he did come by and apologized and gave us a card written on it for a free bottle of house wine next time. Really would had wanted to explain about the service but thought I'll just leave it. This place is really hit and miss. Some days, service is great but unfortunately this time was one of the worst we've experienced.

Strange, because we made a reservation and a got call as we arrived saying we could only be there for an hour because they were full. So we raced through our food and the restaurant was nearly empty still when we left. Kind of ruined the vibe of our night. Service was fine, food was good for the price but being given such a short timeframe when the restaurant was almost empty really put a stain on it.

Server was great Attentive and sweet Went during happy hour but they couldn’t accommodate happy hour prices as system was down for food which are half portions but offered 25% off full order of the happy hour food items. So we agreed and we’re somewhat disappointed as the portions were still what we believe were half portions so we weren’t impressed 6 little pieces of the sticky ribs and 8 little pieces of the chicken bites. Those are def happy hour sizes at full prices minus 25% off which still cost us more money in the long run for less food. We’ve been coming for years and have always enjoyed it but this time was very disappointed

The waitress forgot an entire order from our party. The food took a long time so we had to get it to go once it arrived. Three kids sat on the patio under the umbrellas and she wouldn’t walk around to take their order or serve them. It was just awkward and probably why the order was missed.

went on a Tuesday for Happy Hour specials. Both limited budgets, and don't get out much. upon arrival and after seated we were told no specials- originally all day for food and 3-6p for drinks. our economic meal was over 2 1/2 times the price for half our original selections, our very rare time at the casino was cut short because of more expensive food. apparently system problem but was able to use debit, credit and place computer orders? Service was exceptional, seating really great. We had a great time but disappointed with the change in venue.

We arrived at 4:15 pm for happy hour, but we were not informed by the server until we got the bill that happy hour menu was unavailable for the past week as their computer system had an issue, so our bill was for full price. Never heard of computer systems only had issues with the happy hour menu but not the regular menu.

Ordered some share dishes, portions were moderate. The calamari with pineapple had little taste, and the presentation was poor. 3 appies and 2 bottles of wine… approx $250… get ready to spend 🙄. Lol

The food for happy hour was honestly uninspiring. It was a fun trivia night but nothing too special. Might come again because of convenience of free parking and easy to bring a group together.
