Excellent service as usual. Enjoyed dishes from the ‘FESTIVAL DE L 'ASPERGE' menu, especially the aile de raie rôtie, the pan roasted skate with asparagus purées, peas, baby carrots and whole grain mustard beurre blanc sauce. A delicious, uncomplicated and beautifully plated dish.
very disappointed with the server. never had her before. she seemed to be in the worst mood, with very little patience for us. in past, every server was extremely pleasant and accommodating. she also ran out to us while we were about to drive away claiming that I didn't leave her a signed credit card copy. I told her I was certain I did. then the manager came out to say they found the signed copy. she didn't seem too concerned about the inconvenience. this was very unusual - all our experiences with this restaurant have been quite lovely.
Petit Louis is always a treat. Great food and great service.
I have been going to Petit Louis for years and hope this meal was an aberration. My friend ordered a frisbee salad which I have had many times. It was overly dressed and the mustard flavor was overwhelming. I ordered the Gravlax and it was half the size from what it was a few months ago. Profiteroles where mushy. I will go back in the hopes that it will be as I expect it to be- good food, perfectly executed, stellar service and attention
This is our happy place. We love to dine here and are never disappointed.
What a great experience and menu... the food was phenomenal- my mom and i were there Celebrating Mother's Day and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves- each course was exquisite!
Loved as always for mother’s day brunch. Delicious! Great coffee, too.
Delicious upscale french biatro fare!! Seasonal changes to the menu - everything is fresh and tasty! Service is impeccable! REALLY a treat!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Petit Louis Bistro! My favorite in Baltimore!
Delicious as always!
I always enjoy Petit Louis. I do not live in Baltimore, so, every time I visit I make sure to go there. I just love the energy, the food and everything. At our table we had fish, chicken and steak and everyone was thrilled. If you like creme brûlée, it is the best. All the desserts are fabulous.
We enjoyed the food and atmosphere as we celebrated my wife's retirement. As with our other celebrations, the manager treated us to glasses of champagne. The quiche my wife ordered was just a tad below the usual high food quality that we have come to expect from Petit Louis. Everything else was just fine.
Excellent Sunday brunch menu and relaxed but attentive service. My only mild complaint is that the noise level is a bit high.
The duck confit- they never run out and it’s always crispy. The salad is never wilted, the escargot are always correct. The water is refilled professionally- always. Great service is not an option that occurs from time to time; instead it is their system. Top to bottom, this place never disappoints.
Great all around restaurant!! I always enjoy being at Petit Louis Bistro!!
Petit Louis is both a neighborhood favorite and a fine dining spot--as well as an institution at this point. When in doubt, it's always a great choice.
Great food. Excellent service
Pricey, but good service and food
Very noisy during busy time
We always enjoy Petit Louis----the staff is friendly, know their business and the food is good. I wish they brought back their little loaves of bread or some crisp French bread instead of the stuff they serve now.
In three words, Food Was Amazing. Flavor combinations were perfect. I had the scallops dish for my main course. Excellent!! My two friends from work also thought it was a special meal.
Always a great experience. Lovely decor, fresh and perfectly prepared meals.
One of the best of the best - every time. The food, the wine, the clattering of conversation and people that really get food all around you. All that but without the pretentiousness of a lot of food hubs. Worth every penny.
Busy, popular but noisy place with excellent service. Trout was excellent. Lamb and fingerling potatoes disappointing.
Excellent food as always. Service was attentive and expert. Feels like a real Paris Joint.
Like the symphony, you realize you should be going more often.
I love everything about this gem. We were a party of five and had a three course delicious meal. Try the Beaujolais also the best one I have ever had!
Very good Sunday brunch, lots of interesting choices for the four of us who have different tastes. Excellent service, attentive but not overbearing. Desserts were to die for! Will go back
Perfection as usual. This is my go to spot when I need a nice relaxing night.
Always an incredible night!
Always great especially if you are a regular for more than 10 years. Can get busy on Friday and Saturday nights. Make sure to book a table early. Marc and Patrick always makes us feel welcome.
I love this place. My husband and I had a delicious dinner. I ordered a roasted pork chop which was a special and reasonably priced. it was done perfectly. The dining rooms are French bistro in every way. Service is always spot on. The pear tart at the end was ok. A lovely dinner out.
We’ve been to Le Petite Louis 4 times in the past several years and it’s been consistently haute cuisine at its best. I love the house pate always perfectly fresh. It is pricey however you definitely get what you pay for. The servers are always very professional. This is def a go to place for special occasions and when you just want great French Food.
Wonderful place to have dinner! It never disappoints.
The food was excellent. We will be back for another birthday.
Fantastic food with attentive service and a really deep wine list especially if you like Burgundies. I always wish it was just a touch less noisy, but the noise is at least tolerable rather than the blasting cacophony that's so common these days.
Since I moved I do not get here as often, but recently returned and the food and service were great. Still that good bistro atmosphere (if you want a candle lit romantic dinner try elsewhere). They have a great wine list (no surprise in a Tony Foreman restaurant) that is fairly priced (2X retail in contrast to a growing number of Bmore restaurants) and I could have found something very good, but asked the sommelier and he suggested a perfect bottle in our range from an appellation that I would not have chosen. Made things even nicer.
Consistently great food, attentive service, high quality dining experience!!!
As always, an excellent meal. Escargot, Scallops, Short Ribs(!), nice bottle of Chambertin. I love the ethnic atmosphere and the staff are wonderful. We are sad to lose the PL in Columbia, but the Roland Park location is always worth the drive!
Always completely happy with every aspect of dining at Petit Louis !
Wonderful dining experience.
