Food was very good. Service was very nice. But the table set up was kind of odd. They have very small tables for two but really only fits one person to top it off we were put behind a pole. I understand that they need to get the most out of the space. I had a reservation and I felt why did get a reservation. After I asked for a window view in our reservation. Then to top it off after we were seated they opened up a large room with nice tables with nice sized tables with a nice view. I think they need to rethink what they are doing. Overall the food was very good.

Poor service, bland food, noisy atmosphere. Good: Food and drinks came out promptly. The salmon looked beautiful on the plate. The Sicilian Martini had a crisp taste unlike any martini I've ever had. Bad: Service was very disappointing. We'd put on the reservation it was a birthday, and my wife even personally talked to the server about it, but no mention of it ever came up. Requests for drink menus needed to be repeated multiple times. Water glasses were left empty for most of the meal. These are services basics that when added up, hurt the overall experience of the meal and the restaurant. Both our entrees (macaroni w/ added pork belly and umami salmon) were nice on the plate but forgettable in flavor. The macaroni especially tasted watery and the pork belly lacked any lasting impression. We came to Adrift right when it first opened and adored both the hotel and restaurant. Now, I see no reason to return.

The clam chowder and green salad were tasty, and so was the focaccia that came with the chowder. We had made a reservation but that did not seem to matter. We were told there were no window seats available, although there appeared to be some. We ordered drinks and an appetizer shortly after being seated. It was 25 minutes until we got our beer and cocktail, and 45 minutes before our fried oyster starter arrived. The server ending up taking the oysters off our bill (she offered, we did not have to ask) The ambiance was fine, but we were a little grumpy...the service was slow and apparently no one noticed on the reservation that we were celebrating our 30th anniversary. Our server was fine, I saw her speaking with both the bartender and someone who seemed in charge about our wait. We were afraid to order anything more complicated than chowder and salad for our meal.

We enjoyed our meal, we split a green salad, clams and the Lavender crusted albacore and we were feeling pretty full. And my husband got the German chocolate cake, decadent and good. We had a sunset view at one of the little tables at the window facing west. The table is very small, but it’s doable. Our server was attentive and helpful, maybe a little too formal. Calling me Miss was okay once, but not over and over.

We had wonderful beverages and we loved the arancini - the mushroom risotto was watery, the rockfish was super over cooked and dry, the Mac and cheese was great but they no longer offer crab for the top, and the burger was just a burger. The ambience and heightened style is what brings us to this place Nd we will eat here again we just won’t ever order those items. The quality just wasn’t as good as it has been in the past.

Steaks, salmon and burger were burnt, risotto was served half hour after all other food and was runny. Decent Mac and Cheese, fries and focaccia bread. Comped one steak but wrote on ticket that it was due to customer dislike rather than the chef cooked it wrong. Medium is not burnt! Their presence online shows an upscale dining experience but we found the opposite. Don’t waste your time or money.

We shared a bottle of Riesling, which was tasty and well chilled. We started with the appetizer french fries. Crispy and hot! Nice they were gluten free, which is often not the case. Husband has celiac, ugh. I had the Wild Mushroom & Crab Arancini appetizer as my meal. It was delicious! Husband had the wild mushroom risotto which was also very good. Great view of the ocean and kites. Our waitstaff was very helpful and provided excellent service.
