Just shared some wings and a couple of glasses of pinot gris, on a quiet Sunday evening. Nice views from inside and out, good friendly services, good food and reasonable price. A go to bar in North Van for sure.
Very good food, and a memorable experience. The view was amazing.
Hostess and service indeed very elegant, accommodations made and your guests will feel welcome and ready to eat an amazing meal. Such a perfect spot to experience all the flavours the ocean has to offer. A dream comes true when all paired with a fillet mignon.
I'm not a reviewer or complainer but i have to say something, the food taste was just ok. I was looking forward to have seafood dishes and enjoy and chit chat with my niece. So here , we've ordered feature dish Sablefish w/ jasmin rice and curry sauce ( the rice was warm and cooked well in the middle section but hard surrounded, curry sauce was good). Yam fries (for some reason it was dark almost burnt like and all crumbled). Calamari (wasn't squid rings instead it was tater tots looking like , maybe each restaurant have its own recipe(i guess) but i have never had that type of Calamari before ever since i was 18yrs). Pier7 Mussels (i love the sauce but most of the mussels had a foul taste). My Ceasars (was taste like clamato juice , wasn't even taste any alcohol at all). We feel bad for the waitress so even the food wasn't great but i still gave her a great amount of tips cause I'm also in customer service industry and she wasn't the one who made the foods so why cut her potion right! I didn't know if we should have said something or just not coming back here at all , since we're just not sure about either because it was happy hour or it was just how they supposed to taste like so we decided not to come back .
Gorgeous view, delicious food, amazing atmosphere! Highly recommend getting seafood tower.
Overall experience was reasonable but not elevated. Calamari was sub-par but the mains were good. Service was slow especially as it pertained to drinks (glass of wine that I ordered before main course came to table only arrived when I was already finished with my meal).
The food was outstanding! Views of the harbour and city are spectacular. The staff and management are making the best out of the COVID situation.
It's hard to come to an overall rating for this restaurant.
Sitting on the patio was very noisy because of the hard surfaces reflecting the myriad of conversations from the many occupied tables. No background music (we approved of this).
Service was great. Our entrees, both fish, were overcooked to our tastes and the accompanying vegetables were nearly raw. When the waitress asked how we liked our food we explained that we thought that the fish was overcooked. She was most apologetic and immediately suggested that she have the food replaced. She did not want us to leave dissatisfied with the quality of the food. Turned out we didn't. The second time the entrees were presented they were done to perfection. The fish was moist nicely seared while the vegetables were beautifully prepared. Altogether a great improvement.
We went to Pier 7 for dinner for my husband's birthday. All tables have a view of the water and city. The service was nice and not fussy. The food was excellent. And they threw in the cake for free because it was his birthday. I would highly recommend it.
Everything was excellent for our anniversary dinner from the seaside view to the delicious food and attentive service. I recommend Pier 7.
Great place, friendly staff n fast service, food was great for the amount we paid. Social distance good
Great service, beautiful location and best happy hour!!!
great food, great location, very clean and great service. Felt very safe even during Covid
Confusion by hostess regarding our reservation. Told we would have to wait 20 minutes and had no idea who we were despite checking in with her. Were finally seated at a nice table outside, once we told her we had decided to leave to sit outside at Tap and Barrel. Uneven but friendly service-had to ask for water refill 3 times. Excellent food. Wine overpriced. Fantastic view of Vancouver.
We ordered the Happy Hour calamari and found it to be very bland. It wasn't the usual rings or tentacles, so it was a different preparation as well. The prices were a little high for the portion size on the regular menu but the Happy Hour prices were good. It was very busy so it was understandably noisy. We went on one of the hottest days this week and sat on the patio in the glass enclosed area. Although it was open on top there was no breeze so it was sweltering. The view is stunning but we had to have the shades pulled. When we did open them the windows were very dirty. I think we would have been more comfortable on the top deck which was not available (because of COVID I think).
Great and friendly service. Delicious pasta! Nice view.
Great view and excellent drinks/happy hour options.
Maria was our server who really turned out to be customer-focussed as initially we two older ladies requested a patio table at waterside view which we saw was available yet were initially told was reserved. I then commented that I had requested a waterside table and was told the restaurant did not reserve patio tables. Then was told that the folks that reserved were'special' guests who frequent the restaurant which made us feel 'less than' as I told them I am a frequent flyer at their restaurant as I live at the quay. Eventually we were accomodated at a waterside table for 2 which was 'to die for'! We were finally appreciative & Maria made the difference! I'd recommend your restaurant for the spectacular waterside view and deep fried brussel sprouts! Thanks! Joni
Consistently bad service, steak was undercooked (asked for medium, arrived rare) food arrived at different times and server was inattentive. The only plus this place has going for it is the location and the view. I will most likely not return.
Food and staff are fantastic, a great place to go for a meal with friends.
Good food lovely view, excellent service
Good service and food
We were celebrating our 49th anniversary and were presented with a complimentary glass of champagne, very nice touch. The view of Burrard Inlet and the Vancouver skyline was lovely. The food and service was excellent.
Happy Hour on the patio was just perfect.
We love that restaurant, the food is great. It’s our second time here.
Jennifer, our server, is great! my partner and I have been in before and she always remembers us and is efficient and sweet. The restaurant is perfectly situated at the water with a stellar view of the city in the distance. Patio seating on two floors. Modern design. Great for out of town guests (ours enjoyed the visit!).
Had a great dinner at Pier 7 generators was very professional and recommended Pier 7 to friends
Everything was wonderful. My only issue was when we've leaving the front entrance was busy people standing there and had to dodge around a bit to leave. At this time people should have been outside waiting away from the door. And standing in the open talking no masks felt uncomfortable.
Otherwise everything else was great
Went for happy hour. Drinks were excellent as was the service. Food was good but could have been better, the cost was very reasonable..
“Sensational Summer Lunch At Pier 7, North Vancouver”

It was our first time to get together and dine out since Covid-19. Two friends, from a women's group we'd been in for 16 years, and I met at Pier 7 for lunch outside on glorious summer afternoon.
The Salmon Salad Bowl and Grilled Salmon were beautifully presented and with many different flavours. The helpings were substantial.
The staff accommodated one friend with a better seat and cleared the path for her to manoeuvre her scooter. Our hostess and server were friendly and helpful.
We celebrated the day with a chocolate lava cake - rich chocolate melting out of round cake covered with summer berries and ice-cream. Yum!
A great place to visit in Lower Lonsdale Shipyards, which is looking very smart, with new buildings and walkways.
It was conveniently close to the seabus for the friend who travelled from Vancouver
The views are amazing as you can see the skyline of Vancouver downtown. The food took almost an hour which was a long time. The server apologized as he was pretty much alone and had to go downstairs to get the food for all the tables upstairs. It looked like they needed more help. I like my salmon burger but the other person on the table didn’t like the pasta that much.
Our server was fantastic, always checking in on us and super friendly. We were there during happy hour and got the mussels, truffle fries, fish tacos, and white sangrias. Everything was delicious and arrived quickly. The best part however was the amazing view of downtown Vancouver from our water side table on the patio.
It was lovely. Our drinks were very good (Happy Hour) and our meals were both very well presented and prepared. The only complaint ate too much dinner and didn't have room for dessert. I actually like sitting inside, the view is still awesome and something I never noticed before is the ceiling has images of an aquarium in it. Very cool!
Really good mojitos. And the herb chicken was so delicious. I will definitely be coming back.
Wonderful place for dine in with a beautiful view.
I would go back. Food was excellent and service was good.
We were seated at a table that turned out to be unbearably hot. We had been told we would not be allowed to move tables but asked if we could because of the heat and were told yes. So we moved, then waited for someone to take our order. and waited, and waited. I finally flagged down a server to ask who was our server now, but she interrupted me and with considerable snark said "we already moved you once we're not moving you again". I explained I just wanted to know who our server was because we were ready to order. Oh, its the guy behind the bar, she'll tell him. More waiting. About to call it quits and leave when original server shows up. Fine. We eat, we want to pay and leave, server no where to be found. Flag another one down and she snarks at me that she's not our server. I say I know that, but we want to pay, could you tell our server? She says she will. Then we wait. And wait. And wait. And no so ticked off we decide to leave without paying. At last second original servers shows up and asks if we are ready to pay. I guess the message never got through. So paid and left, never coming back. Just to top it off, I left them a Google Review. Instead of responding, they got it deleted. Didn't know that was possible. They'd rather pay money to hide their poor service than reach out and take responsibility? So I put another review on Yelp, they don't delete reviews. Now I'm putting one here. If this one disappears too I'll add another one to FaceBook.
Great location right on the water at Shipyards in N Van. All the health and safety measures were in place. Our server Raysa was amazing, very professional, attentive, efficient, and knowledgeable about the menu and drink options. Patio looked great (we were inside).
Our server was very unprofessional. He forgot to type our orders in after he took them but didn't admit that he forgot and blamed the kitchen for his mistake. Then had sweat dripping from his forehead onto the menus on our table. For the bills, he brought out non-happy hour priced bills. He frantically took it away and it took a while for him to fix the pricing. Overall, the experience was not great. The food was good once we got it but the service was very scattered and not well organized.
It’s a very nice restaurant. Me and the family enjoyed it and will be back
