Pier 73 - Pacific Gateway Hotel at the Vancouver Airport Ratings and Reviews
Local food prepared well, with many interesting choices and many gluten-free options. Great location for views and unique ambience. Caring, responsive servers. I've recommended this restaurant to friends since I discovered it.
Enjoyed the experience and had a great get together with relatives. Nice river setting and the restaurant has a nice ambiance; the food was excellent. Too bad the place is so hard to find first time and ditto re the return back to Richmond.
Loved our server....sorry to hear that the restaurant was closing for a longish time for renovations....
Love going to Pier 73 in the Pacific Gateway Hotel in Richmond. I go with my girlfriends, I go with my husband, and we go with couples. Everytime we go, the food has been outstanding. They have just completed one of the biggest outdoor patios that I’ve ever seen, could possibly be the biggest one in Vancouver! Lookout Summer of 2018! The food is fantastic and quality is superb. The chef is amazing. The staff is always friendly and have been there forever. Love the gluten free calimari. It is a more casual dining atmosphere with a water view and fabulous tasting food.
We chose Pier 73 because of its location near the airport (we were meeting a friend from Toronto who had a flight early the next morning). It has a pretty good menu, although somewhat over-priced for the quality of the higher end dishes. It is a very large room and is probably best in the summer when you can enjoy the patio and the water views. Service was good, if a bit quirky. Good selection of craft beers and a reasonable wine list.
our 2 guests and family members both enjoyed the ambience and were surprised as had never been there before. The chicken sandwich was very so so but the rest was good especially the app and the dessert.
The food was good but service was slow. It was busy and the atmosphere was good. Not easy to find by Vancouver airport.
Sitting on the deck on the water was such a great experience and the food was delicious. The employees were very friendly and efficient.
Relaxing place for brunch. Excellent view
Olivia our server was excellent. Attentive to our table. Once the reno on the marina deck is complete we will be back again. Menu selection for appetizers was a bit dull. Nachos so so.. need the option of more than one layer and more toppings.
Overall food was good. Kids menu does not have fries as a side option! They only have lentil soup or vegetables! We asked the waitress for another minute to decide what to order and she didn't come back for 10 minutes. We never saw her again after that.
Understaffed so we languished quite awhile before seeing a server. Food so-so and uninspired.
Brenda our waitress was fantastic. Pitcher of Sangria and dinner with good friends. All of our dishes were excellent.
Loved the new Menu. Service was great. Thank you.
Smiling & helpful service; great options in children's menu; very tasty food; great timing for delivering our food and the bill - didn't ask or wait for anything.
Would definitely go back with our family; will suggest going there with friends and other family too!
I ordered the seafood pasta...It ended up being fishy...Which leads me to think the seafood was frozen not fresh.
I dine at Pier 73 whenever I stay at the Pacific Gateway Hotel. The restaurant is welcoming and the food is very good. The menu makes the most of west coast seafood, meat, and produce; dishes are prepared well and presented beautifully; and the service is excellent. Our server, Yvonne, always remembers me even though I may only go to the restaurant a couple of times a year and offers excellent suggestions for food and wine.
Excellent service I never knew it was so easy to make a reservation!
It would be nice if more choices were offered in the DineOut menu, only two choices available for appetizer and for entree and none for dessert.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Dine Out Vancouver menu at Pier 73. Everything was delicious, and beautifully plated. Our server was friendly, prompt, and unobtrusive. We will be back, thanks!
Loved the Night View. Great location. Can't wait to try the new renovated patio when it gets warmer. The Soup was filling. Entree was tasty & new. Never tried it before. Reminded me of the Korean Chewy Rice Noodles. Dessert was just right. Not too sweet. Dine Out Vancouver $30 per person.
Thank you & have a great day. Huggies.
Very nice Dine Out offering, well executed. We'll definitely be coming back.
The menu was SLOW ROASTED LAMB SHOULDER
Ricotta gnocchi | sundried tomatoes | kale pesto | buttered peas | parmesan foam | fried cauliflower. There were about 5 shreds of lamb meat on a lot of ricotta gnocchi, and it was quite cold when served. Very disappointed with food. Portion was awfully small. Waitress service was excellent. Location was good, nice view and easy parking.
Very friendly staff, had reso. Place was packed. Food was awesome!
Very nice place. Service was great. It was a very warm feeling there. We were from out of town but come around often so we will be back. The deck looks like it wasbe the place for summer time
My husband and I love coming here for their good food, great service, and amazing views. I would recommend their fish tacos which is my favourite item on their menu. They also have a nice craft beer selection that pairs quite well with their menu. We've recommended this place to our friends and work colleagues who have also been pleased with their impressive service!
We were there for a very soecial 100th birthday. The staff went out of there way to make it special.
Yvonne, our server was very friendly and gave great service!
great find on our visit to Vancouver! Food and service were great. Enjoyed the view over the water.
Been here before and its always very good. Occasionally when they get busy the servers get a bit overwhelmed.....the management need to keep an eye on this.
The food is very good now with the new menu
Have been there for lunch many times, so tried it for dinner. The menu had good choices, from curry to fish, with excellent soups. The service was very good from Joanne( sp ) who recommend some great dinner choices and beverages. The view is always changing on the river, so this adds to the decor.
Will go again for dinner as well as my lunches
Overall was good, food came out slowly, restaurant didn't check the special message within the reservation. Sigh.
Well sited on river both views and food were excellent. Service also very good. The tacos are both great value and very tasty.
Four of us dined at Pier 73 for the second time. The service was excellent as experienced the last time, and the view is great in the summer (daylight) and overlooks the Fraser River. Everyone enjoyed their meals, and the Warm seafood Salad was a standout. We would definitely come back.
This is a neighborhood gem. On the river on stilts with lovely views. The menus is a new one to me and was lovely. Lots of choices for all styles. the server a lady (cant remember her name) was very attentive and knowledgeable. So we had a lovely time.
Shal go back again.
The ambiance was great! We wanted to sit outside but was a bit too chilly so they moved us to a table inside by a big window and they were very happy to accommodate us. The service was great and all who helped us were wonderful! the food was good, we wished for a few more choices, but did find some wonderful things to eat. We would definitely go there again!
Food was reasonably tasty. Like that they use local sources (was one of the selling points for me). Unique dishes (at least in description) but the meal wasn't as good as I expected and a little overpriced (but maybe due to local sources which I'm ok with). I would probably eat there again but unsure.
Our waiter was pleasant and friendly + gave us good recommendations on menu items. It was an overall very pleasant dining experience.
Great menu. Some sort of kitchen snafu that delayed our food delivery. Very disappointing.
