We believe that pizza is the perfect food. A blank canvas that has unlimited possibilities in both taste and texture. By using fresh local produce and authentic Italian ingredients your experience will surely have you saying "Bellisimo"!
Our wood burning oven comes from Reggelo, 20 km from Florence. The Valoriani oven is hand crafted by a family of artisans that has been perfecting their skills for 5 generations. Its domed brick roof and 650 degree temperature is the perfect vessel for creating the perfect pizza.
Love the set up ,works perfect for Covid , enjoyed the food wine and service
Great Evening! We had a later reservation, but arrived a little earlier than expected. Our table was ready, clean and well spaced out.
Service was excellent, cocktails were awesome and the pizzas were phenomenal!
The food was not up to prior experiences there.
The music was too loud for lunch and caused shouting in covid droplet times. The meatballs were lukewarm. The Parmesan container was almost empty. The spacing was “off” because a nearby table moved a chair - comment to server did not fix that.
Love this spot for it’s Amazing food, ambiance and great service! We have been many many times and brought a variety of friends and never been disappointed, ! So impressed now too in how they are managing COVID!
Fantastic food, good ambiance, friendly and appreciative servers.
We were quite disappointed with our food. The gnudi was cold and the chicken which was advertised as roasted chicken was cold and looked like it was cooked much earlier in the day. We were seated at the counter and under the vents which were quite cold. The dinner was quite expensive for the mediocre food. We have had pizza before and it was much better for value.
The Nera pasta was spectacular, prepared and served by the best and cutest chef in the city.
Best lunch ever! Staff was amazing.
Food was spot on! The restaurant was very clean and bright!
Great experience! Booked on Open Table without a hitch.
Food was absolutely delicious. The waiter could have been a little more proactive with information , but was ‘fine’
Only constructive comment to make Would be to increase the size of font on the menu....it is very difficult to read
Reserved a farewell lunch for one of our staff and everyone enjoyed their meals. Had a hard time hearing our waitress, and the selections of beer and coffee liquors we wished were more extensive, but had a great time.
Had dinner with a friend and between both of our dietary restrictions and preferences, we were very impressed with the level of service and quality of the dishes we ordered. Our server (tall guy) was incredible, this restaurant is very lucky to have him.
Ordered mushroom pizza. Just a bunch of mushrooms on pizza doe. Not creative at all
Staff are attentive and handling the COVID protocols well.
I miss some of the past options for pizza. Menu is also a little more meat heavy which is not my personal preference.
Absolutely fabulous as ALWAYS!
Wonderful friendly service from everyone~ they all really take great care to provide a wonderful dining experience!
Roasted beet salad...Lucia Pizza 🍕...a beautiful glass of a Tolaini red 🍷....how can this not be outstanding
Thank you to EVERYONE at Gusto....we really appreciate it 💖
A fantastic evening finally during these strange times!
We’ve missed Gusto but totally respect the strict protocols that kept us from coming in August! The service was exactly what we asked for —we took our time, the dishes were delivered slowly and steadily so we could really enjoy this special birthday celebration—we had all of our favorites —sprouts, polpettini, cesare, and a couple of great pizzas—the bruschetta du jour with pickled blueberries was fantastic—and as always the wine list is easy to navigate to our taste—we had two excellent bottles!!!
And yes the grappa and espresso kept me up at nite but it wouldn’t be an evening at gusto without it!!
So glad to be back—Thankyou for staying open!
Great, but now trying to make a new reservation!
No special treatment or dessert for my birthday girl
Nice ambiance! Would rather have the menu expanded
Outstanding as always
My friend and I ate out on the patio and the tables were nicely spaced. The pizzas were very good. I had The Don and it was quite meaty, just as I like my pizza. I also had a nice craft beer from Lake of the Woods brewery. Prices were a little high compared to most take-out pizza, but the wood-fired pizza item makes it very tasty. I will gladly go back to Pizzeria Gusto.
We thoroughly enjoyed another fabulous evening on the patio at Pizzeria Gusto. Staff were very accommodating at arranging our request the day of for the patio. Food and service were outstanding as usual. One of our favourite restaurants.
Why on earth do you have a menu with teensy font on it??? When asked if there is a menu with larger font, I was told to check the menu on my iphone. C »mon folks! You need a magnifying glass for your menus’ font.
It would be much better if they post their COVID policy
Would definitely recommend this place! Great food and wonderful atmosphere
Absolutely amazing! Service was friendly and attentive. Food was stellar. The room is beautiful Can’t wait to go back.
We were about to leave when we were told they we HAD to leave as someone was waiting for our table. There were other tables of two that had been there before us but we were singled out as having to give up our table. We had been sitting 1.5 hours exactly and we found that this was pretty rude. I was actually very surprised as I have always enjoyed gusto but this left myself and my guest with a very bad feeling.
It was so lovely to enjoy the wonderful patio Gusto has. One of my favourite places in the city!!
Always a great dinner and atmosphere with friends at Gusto!
Very good food and nice ambiance (with a good vibe). A little noisy.
Great place to go anytime of year. Had lunch on the patio today to enjoy the last days of summer.
Amazing from beginning to end - our server was excellent and made the experience enjoyable and delicious!
You definitely have my favourite patio in the city. We had a great time :)
We have been a number of times, and always enjoyed it a lot. This time, maybe not so much. The food struck us as being a bit 'tired'.. The pizzas were a bit soggy; tough to cut, and not as hot as we remembered them on previous visits. Caesar salad also tasted a bit wilted and slightly 'off'. Gotta say we were a bit disappointed.
It’s a nice place with ok food, I had the pizza with pesto, Pistachios, prosciutto and potatoes and it was a bit bland. But what really bothered me was The amount of warnings I was giving that we had to leave by a certain time. I will send an email saying that the reservation was for an hour and 45 minutes I thought that was kind of weird but thought maybe they’re just very booked up that’s fine. Then when we arrived we were told that there was a reservation of 18 so We had to leave by the hour and 45 minutes after arriving. Then the waiter also said this and then told us when it was 20 minutes before our time was up and again towards getting close to time being up and then when he eventually said OK we need the table now so you ladies will have to leave. I could understand if they may be moved out to the bar or the patio outside. But my friend and I went to the restrooms before leaving and we were told that the party was already there and we came back and saw that there was two people sitting at the table for two that we had sat at and there was no large party. Our small table simply Had two people sitting at it. Maybe the large party of 18 was sitting somewhere else that I couldn’t see but it’s a very open restaurant so I find that hard to believe. To be honest I drove about 40 minutes to get there across the city and I feel like I was rushed and given a warning every so often throughout the experience really ruined my overall experience at this restaurant which is too bad because it is nice but after that experience I don’t know that I would want to go back. I feel if you spend $150-$200 or any money for that matter, you should have a different experience than this and maybe not be so rushed out. Especially during Covid where some people hardly go out and in our case it was a rare get together on a special occasion but it felt tampered with.
This was my second time going to Pizzeria Gusto, and it was exceptional again. Staff were friendly and knowledgable and the food was delicious.
This was by far the best meal I’ve had in a long time. I texted friends detailed ingredients of everything I ate.
The food was excellent as usual - my daughter ordered a salad, which was made to her specifications. I also ordered a pizza to take home for my husband, and it was prepared and delivered to the table promptly when we were ready to leave.
We were literally the only people in the restaurant and we had to ask for water and then wait about 15 minutes for it. The server was not not attentive and not very friendly. The food was very good but we were disappointed.
Best server and one of the best patios in the city!
