We come here often for all of the great food and drinks. It’s great to be able to get a bunch of small plates or a full entree. We’ve liked every dish we’ve tried, but our favorites are the Peruvian Potatoes, the Beef Tartare and the fish tacos. We always love the Margaritas with mezcal too! My girlfriend has Celiac so the entire restaurant being gluten free is a huge plus for us, there are very few places we can go and feel safe like we can here.
I’ve been a few times to Points South and have always left impressed and satisfied with the food, service and overall experience. The entire restaurant is gluten-free, including some delicious desserts like the chocolate volcano cake with caramel ice cream! The restaurant also hosts some really fun events.
We went for the drag mother's day brunch. Me and my mom had an amazing time. The crowd was live and energetic. The ladies/performers were amazing. The good was great. The only problem was we were seated at the end by the buffet and the performers didn't pay our section too much attention. We had to get up and stand In front of another table to see the performance or to give our money. Other than that it was amazing. The ladies were polite. Beyonce was amazing. She was so nice and made sure she gave us a performance while we were in the corner. We took plenty of pics with the ladies. The vibe was amazing. Looking forward to bingo night.
Great restaurant with fantastic food! Cocktails are killer.
The food was okay. There were some high points like the crispy fresch cheese and the lamb ribs. The rest was okay. The mojito was way too sweet.
This was our first visit. Valet is a little schizophrenic. Everything we ordered was appetizing and very tasty. We were adjacent to a very energetic and precise server. Would come back here on a better weather night.
A rare, gluten free menu, that celiacs and everyone else can enjoy. Plus, celiacs can share everything on the menu which is extremely unusual.
We live in Fells Point and have many dining options. Point South is our favorite restaurant for taking out of town guests. The dishes are unique and delicious and the service is great.
Excellent, inventive food combined with attentive service and a nice atmosphere. I'm still thinking about the seared tuna served over yucca gnocchi. It was amazing.
The food was excellent, we were just disappointed in the noise level, in such small quarters of the room. It was very disruptive & took away from the ambiance & enjoying dinner. Service was a little slow. The server, on a couple occasions told us she was bringing us our drink & when she returned, she was tending others & realized we were waiting. It was our anniversary weekend & wanted something a little different. Too bad it came with quite a bit of rowdiness.
The restaurant was loud, tacos were not offered on the dinner menu, New York strip was sold out, and the kitchen was very backed up. That said, the food was quite good. The manager acknowledged that the food was slow, so they took good care of us in the end.
We went there this past Saturday and were so disappointed. The service was terrible. Our waitress kept forgetting to put items in but would blame "the backed up bar"...meanwhile we saw every other table around us getting drinks. She also forgot to put our children's order in despite us ordering theirs early as a preemptive measure to increase their ability to sit still. Our children's fries were limp and greasy. Their papusas while tasty, were also dripping with grease from the cheese. The crab and avocado salad tasted like tuna fish and was way overpriced at $18. My queso fundido had a film on it. My husband said that his shrimp was good but that it wasn't anything special. All the plates came out steaming hot as if they had been under the warmers forever prior to them being delivered to us. It was a busy night and they did not seem to be appropriately staffed for a Saturday when a festival was happening. There were 3 hosts but they were in desperate need of more wait staff. Overall, I am very disappointed in our meal. We were excited to try some place new but we will not be back again.
We all had a great time. The food was outstanding, especially the beautiful whole red snapper and the grilled octopus. The service was friendly and attentive. The ginger pear bourbon cocktail was a hit! This is a not-to-be-missed restaurant.
Food, once served was great. Service took longer than expected. Restaurant was not packed but we waited over 40 minutes for our entrees.
There was a private party downstairs last night and it was pretty loud. It was difficult to get to and from the restrooms as nobody could hear you. The food and drinks were still very good
It's a gem: great service, food, drinks and ambience. Creative and delicious food, and you would never even realize it's all gluten free because the chefs have done such an amazing job with the menu.
This place was absolutely delicious. Everything we order was so good. We had noted on our reservations that it was someone's birthday and when we arrived there was a sign on our table wishing the birthday person a happy birthday! They also put a candle on the dessert for the birthday girl and wrote in chocolate Feliz compleanos which was a cute little way to help us celebrate. Would definitely recommend trying this adorable Latin restaurant in the heart of Fells Point.
We love this place. Great, authentic food. The owner Bryson is the best. And 100% gluten free!
Superior food. Great service
Food was amazing! Loved all the apps. , especially the shrimp ceviche. Red sangria really delicious. Felt like waitress was rushing us and bus boy kept trying to remove food while we were still eating.
Paella was real hit! Huge seafood!
Volcano cake and apple pastry were the best!
Will definitely return.
This is arguably Fells Point’s beast kept secret. At least from me! Certified gluten free, and if you didn’t care about that you would never notice. Excellent preparation and plating. The tuna was sushi grade 1 and seared perfectly per chef’s recommendation. We had an amazing server who was kind with a smile and who seemed to truly enjoy her job. She had a working knowledge of the menu and the culture of her establishment. Very comfortable and so easy to enjoy that we lost track of time.
This place was beyond amazing. We met the owner, his mother and everything. Drag brunch was so much fun. The experience makes me want to go back over and over again. Cheers!
Loved the Restaurant Week 2018 menu!
We went during restaurant week. All three courses were outstanding! Very interesting Latin flare. Nice layout. Restaurant is much bigger than it looks on the outside. Definitely recommend!
Always great food and service. The shrimp ceviche is the best!!
I took my parents to Points South for Restaurant Week and they absolutely loved it. The gentleman who sat us and helped to serve us was so pleasant and accommodating when we wanted to substitute one of the small plates for a vegetarian option not listed on the menu. The minas (sp?) margarita was phenomenal! Definitely will come back again.
Wonderful servers , carefully made drinks and delicious menu!
Food was awesome! Everything was great from tapas to main entrees to dessert. Service was great. Server was very knowledgeable about the menu and was very attentive and friendly. We might the owner, Bryson, who stopped by to see if we liked our food. We love that the entire menu is gluten free!! So delicious! We will be back again and again!
Wonderful hidden gem. Ordered a bunch of small plates to share with friends. Must try the lamb ribs!
This actually a great option for anyone with gluten allergies or sensitivity, all the food is naturally gluten free... so it’s not a substitution game. The staff is great, the lamb shank is amazing. They also have good cocktails. The Sunday “drag brunch” is super fun
Amazing food and great staff.
Another wonderful meal. The crispy cheese appetizer rocked. As did the short ribs. Such a cool place. And a great staff. Loved it!
Food was good but that was not real Latin food. In Latin from Miami and there we have all types of Latin American food and I can say this was not it.
We had the time at Poubt South, we were a group of 9 celebrating our friend birthday party 🎉. The dinner and drinks were awesome. Service was perfect. We are more than happy 😃.
Excellent menu that is 100% Gluten Free. Don't let that scare you. I've been in several times and sampled much of the menu. Everything is absolutely excellent. Can't reccomend this restaurant highly enough. Great option for anyone in the Inner Harbor/Fells Point area.
I love Points South Latin Kitchen, but I had a "first timer"with me and he loved it as much as I do! He would not stop talking about it and wanted to go for brunch the next day (drag brunch was sold out) so we made reservations for the next available show. Always amazing, and I can't wait to return.
This restaurant always delivers. The menu is really inventive, the service is on point and I have never had anything but wonderful food here. This time I tried the ceviche but made the mistake of sharing with others. I'll never do that again! I need to remember to save room for dessert because I'm dying to try the tres leches bread pudding. I'm determined to have it the next time I'm there.
The food was great and we had good service as well. I’ll be back!
The food was AMAZING and I could not believe that it was gluten-free! Everyone from the hostess to our waitress and just other employees were extremely nice and accommodating. I will definitely be coming back here again and again and again!!!! Definitely check out this gem!
Was a nice lunch and good service! Good
salad and my friends soup was clearly home made!
