   Food and service were very good. The noise level was extremely high with loud music, the buzz of the ventilation system, and noisy patrons. This was unfortunate because my friends and I were meeting to discuss a particular issue, and we had a difficult time hearing one another. One friend and I were both overcharged on our bills. When we informed the waiter, he investigated and told us that we were charged the dinner prices which were several dollars higher than what was listed on the lunch menu from which we ordered. He corrected it. I had a similar concern when I was there on a previous visit (pre-covid). I ordered coffee from the menu at $3, but when the bill came I was charged significantly more, $4 or $5. I was told the menu was revised but not reprinted yet, and this is the new price. No.

   Sunday brunch one breakfast one lunch. Food wad good. Our server was attentive and pleasant. Great cocktails and they came around with a couple samples which was nice. Definitely a young vibe with a DJ spinning house music. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves.

    First time eating here! It was very good! We ate early, it wasn't very crowded, but it was picking up when we were leaving. Casual atmosphere, easy walk from our hotel at 5th and Chestnut Streets.

    I have been here previously and loved it. This time around I didn’t love it as much as the last time. Because it was Mother’s Day the menu was limited and it was extremely crowded which made the restaurant louder than normal. I will probably return in the future, just not on a holiday.

    We were a party of 4 for Mother's Day brunch. They had a nice selection of specialty cocktails, service was great, attentive but patient, and everyone enjoyed their meals. We go there about every other month and always have a positive experience. I wish the noise level was a little bit lower, but at least everyone was excited and enjoying themselves.

    Large menu, large space that can accommodate large parties of varying food preferences. Only challenge is it’s VERY loud in the restaurant and on a Saturday night with large parties it’s hard to hear the person next to you (we were a table of 4). Service was slow (took 2.5 hours for dinner), but waitress was great.

    We ate at Positano Coast frequently before the pandemic. This was our first time eating inside. Same delicious food, same good service, prices a bit hihhet, but that's the state of the world, so that was OK. The problem came with the check and the 3 1/2% charge for using a credit card. With tip our bill was over $200 -- not a sensible amount to be walking around with. The question is who should bear that cost? We believe it's part of the restaurant's operating cost. It might be more tolerable if they asked us to split the fee, which we would do. Bottom line, it left a bad taste in our mouths, so we probably won't go back anytime soon.

We, along with many other businesses and restaurants in the area, did implement the fee about 8-9 months ago as our fees keep increasing and guests choose to pay with credit card. If the guest pays with cash, debit, or GC we of course waive that fee. With several payment options available to our guests we do feel it is justified in todays economy.     A friend and I had reservations for 2 p.m. on a Sunday. The noise level inside was deafening. The music plus the large groups made conversation impossible. The waiter could not hear is when we placed our orders. After the music stopped and some of the larger groups left, we were able to have a conversation. The service was impeccable and the food is delicious. I would go back but not on a Sunday.

    We arrived a few minutes early and were seated right away. Our server, Alicia B, was wonderful. She gave us ample time to decide what we wanted. Our selections were unbelievable - deconstructed Branzino and Seafood Risotto. We topped it off with a nice bottle of red wine. It was our first time here and we'll definitely be back!

    Many open tables in the dining room, but we were seated by the doorway of a private party room. Why a restaurant would do this is beyond me. Not a good experience, at all. We remained hopeful that the dinner would make up for that. Unfortunately, that was not the case. Pasta dish was good, other entrees were mediocre. Go here for happy hour, but not for dinner.

    The service was great, but the table was in a hallway directly across from the kitchen so people were constantly coming in and out and the noise level was very high. The food was fine, not worth the cost but it was served hot and fast. The raw bar shrimp was perfect, the entrees were just okay (chicken parm and seafood risotto) Our server was wonderful. The dessert was not good, skip it if you’re considering it.

    Our waiter Nick was excellent and the best thing about our dining experience at Positano Coast. The restaurant was noisier than we expected which made conversation a challenge. The food was tasty but the portions were small. If we had not had an appetizer, dessert and several pieces of bread, we would have left hungry. We have not had food portion issues at other Lamberti restaurants, so this was a surprise.

    The service here was great and the atmosphere is lively and fun. Loved the decor as well, very pretty. Food came out hot and was good. The crowd was a bit younger with many birthday celebrations around.

    A beautifully presented and deeply satisfying experience, Positano Coast is an underrated gem located across from an excellent movie theater and home to some of the most brilliant seafood dishes in the city. Try the meatballs, they're exquisite.

    Love this place, but our waitress Marina I have to say was the highlight of the night. She was so spot on with her recommendations, funny as hell and perfect timing. Not too much, not too little and she was busy!!!! Food is always consistently good, maybe just a little heavy handed on the salt but overall can't complain. We filled up on too many appetizers! Great night with great friends at an awesome restaurant I consider a Philadelphia staple.
