   Our experience was amazing. The staff, atmosphere, and food was great! We were there for dinner and every aspect of it was amazing. Our waitress was hands down one of the nicest people we've ever experienced at a restaurant. We will for sure go again, maybe try their brunch or lunch menu, but for sure would return for their dinner.

   Beautiful location and the Staff were very welcoming and good at their craft. We were there for Mother's Day Brunch, and it appeared it was not their "best at" in regard to execution and food. For $110.00 per person, we had much higher expectations. Brunch was out of certain categories, some of the food presentations were less than desirable due to maintenance of Brunch type setup. It really felt like the Brunch vibe was new to them, and they need a few more years to match the expectation at the price of $110. per person (similar to La Caille or Grand American type offerings).

   We loved the seafood/fish specials-Dulie was amazing and the chef came out to chat with us which was so lovely. We love your dining- We were disappointed Sunday at Brunch time, the bartender did not know how to make a vodka tonic and the drinks were taken to the pool but were $25 a piece, we thought that was completely outrageous.

    Sceptital admitted the restaurant after the google reviews. I’m 58, I’ve had $200 plate diners. This place Is As Advertised!!!! Best meal I’ve had in over 25 years!!! I’ma food snob, this place rocks!!!

    The pork chop was a disappointment from last year’s recipe and presentation. It was quite ordinary. The old pork chop was so extraordinary that I recommend the restaurant just for that pork chop because everything else was already delicious.

    Powder is a great place to enjoy a meal or beverage with a staff whose only goal is to make your meal a pleasurable event. We have had several meals and even frequented the bar at night - the meals, ambiance and customer service exceeded our expectations.

    Our waitress was very nice. We had the shrimp cocktail which was bigger than colossal so that was great to share. Tuna tartare and french onion soup were good. Our boys had the rib-eye which was devoured. The only disappointment was the half chicken. I expected the skin to be roasted and crunchy. Definitely more flavorful. The texture of the skin was soft. Once I removed that, the chicken was just chicken. No flavor transferred to it. Maybe just a one off. We had lobster Mac and cheese, brussel sprouts and they were delicious.

    The menu is not extensive but mostly well executed. The bar is great but the bar menu leaves a bit to be desired. If you’re staying at the Waldorf then definitely go but if not it is not worth traveling to go to either one.

    Well, our reservation was at 7:00. We had to ask for bread, got it at 8:20. Had to ask to order drinks. The guy was nice but it just wasn’t that busy. Food was good but too expensive for what it was. $90.00 for a six ounce fillet with no sides? Please! Too much competition in the neighborhood.

    Amazing that a place this nice in a ski resort area would risk it’s reputation by charging you $50 per person for changing a reservation within 3 days of said reservation. We ended up going the next night and spent over $500 for mediocre food for 4 people. And we were still charged an additional $200 for changing the night of our reservation back one night but within their 3-day-prior cut off. Needless to say we won’t be going back.

    Food was delicious however, if you want the onion soup it is not available at noon... they are still preparing it .. so that was disappointing. The waitress service was excellent but the kitchen took a long time to bring out our simple order of salads and a side of fries. We had a noon reservation, probably ordered by 12:10-12:15 and received our dishes just before 12:40. I know because we had a spa reservation at 1pm.

    Crazy expensive, terrible steak. We stay at Waldorf every year for the past 8 years or so and always enjoyed Powder. However this year they changed the concept from serving beautiful culinary creations to A- La -Carte steak house. The steak was not good , the sea bass is tiny and greasy. Terribly overpriced. Want sauce for your flavorless dry steak? Sure!-pay extra. No love was put into cooking the food. We had to cancel 3 out 4 reservations we had made before coming for our trip. $35 for a small glass of Morgan Pinot Noir, which is an average, usually $30/ bottle wine. Something needs to change.     The hotel and restaurant are lovely. The food is good but very expensive. The service was great - what you would expect from such a nice hotel. The only reason I didn't rate this 5 stars is because they have a $50 per person cancellation fee, even if you cancel in advance. For a restaurant in a hotel, this seems way over the top. If we go back, we will just walk in as to avoid this onerous cancellation policy.

    Very loud. Not a white table cloth restaurant. Very expensive for what you receive. I have been to some very nice places and this falls well short of most comparably priced restaurants. They charge for bread ($13), butter ($3), a 14 oz. steak ($88) with everything Al la Carte. Five pieces of asparagus for ($18). I had one meager Manhattan for $26. Service was average.
