Prairie 360 Restaurant & Lounge
It was awesome and Fancy and the food was good and the view to
We were extremely happy with our lunch. Service and the food was excellent.
It was very nice night
We enjoyed the place
The view and also the food
Best restaurant in town. Beautiful view, great service. The food was awesome and well portioned too. Bill is as expected with nicer dining. I'm not one to go out but next time I do, it'll be Prairie 360.
it was great to go for supper with loved once and I recommend to go this place. Supper nice staffs
Great experience. The food was great, though some members of our party found the Korean chicken a bit dry. Service was excellent.
Birthday dinner, really nice! Was in town for a weekend and this was the best restaurant by far.
Food was great, service was good and atmosphere was awesome!!
View and ambiance are definitely nice.
I felt that the food quality was not very good especially for the cost. My rice was stone cold and the pickerel was mediocre.
Was greeted promptly by staff and we were seated promptly. Waiter was very informative about the menu.
Breathtaking view of the city, and the restaurant was clean. My family really enjoyed it. So did I, unfortunately vertigo does not do well with the movement.
I do recommend it to everyone who would like a great experience with a excellent view of Winnipeg.
The food was very average. Nothing special about it and the same for the drinks
Amazing waitress! She said she usually bartends but did an amazing job as our waitress. Food was great, wine was great, would highly recommend!
The service was excellent. I just wish the menu had been more explicit about some of the flavours in the dishes. The "scallops, cauliflower puree, prosciutto crisp it overpowered everything else on the plate. We were with friends and didn't want to make a fuss but now I wish we had. Have been there in the past and the food was excellent so hopefully this was just an aberration. The dessert trio was terrific.
I will only recommend the view. The food is hit or miss. Some of the adult menu items were really really good. The children’s items were really cheap. For $35, one would think the burger would be cooked and the chicken tenders wouldn’t be frozen chicken fingers.
We had reservations for New Year’s Eve and were limited to the fixed menu at just under $80 per plate. The beet salad first course was quite good. The second course was scallops and cauliflower purée with prosciutto on top. The scallops were not cleaned properly. One of us had sand in theirs and another two of us had the foot still attached on more than one piece on the plate. The fourth member of our party did not notice anything. Also all plates were cold. The main course was the chateaubriand, another three scallops, two shrimp, asparagus with fingerling potatoes and a bernaise sauce. Everything was cold again. The potatoes were okay but some were not cooked properly and were hard in the middle. The dessert was a trio of cheesecake, chocolate cake and a macaroon, small pieces of each on the plate. They tasted like they were frozen and thawed and poor quality and probably not made in house. One guest was able to substitute fresh cut strawberries and blueberries due to dietary restrictions.
The portions were very small.
The kids option of hamburger and fries with a starter small Caesar salad was okay. The salad was drenched in dressing and the burger upon closer inspection was undercooked as it has pink in the middle.
The cost of $35 for the kid meal was outrageous. That is 7 A&W Mumma burger combos and the food quality would be comparable if not better.
All in all a disappointment. The total bill including mandatory 18% gratuity was over $450 for 4 adults and one child, too pricey!!!
The food was excellent. We were not rushed. The view was fantastic.
We love this restaurant and go for every special occasion. On the 31st we were celebrating both new year's and the 20th year anniversary of a death in our family. We brought my 5 year old grand daughter who dressed as a princess for the castle, and fire works. We had been looking forward to it for weeks, and we always love our time at 360.
This time, we had a waiter who was quite rude, putting us down through out the meal in an offhand / backhand kind of way. He also reached across the table touching my daughters several times. Also, more that three times he took away plates we were still eating from - we felt so rushed from the moment we sat down that we were unable to relax and enjoy our time there. It was very, very disappointing. We were asked to pay the bill before we even finished desert. We were very aware of the 2 hour limit and we were well within that. It was very stressful. This has never happened before and we felt very "ripped off" of what was supposed to be a magical experience.
It was our first time going and we will defiantly go back. The set New Year’s Eve menu was a bit pricey but the food was good. It was nice to see that there were options for children. Dessert was a bit of a miss, it didn’t seem to have the same level of freshness as everything else. If you enjoy a cup of HOT tea I would avoid ordering it. After steeping my tea for a few minutes it cooled to a lukewarm temp. I sent to back and the next one came steaming but again cooled very quickly. I am guessing the pot and cup are low quality and do not hold the heat. The waitress was very polite and followed up. I didn’t have the heart to tell her that it again did not meet my expectations.
Excellent food for brunch, great view , nice restaurant, waitress was average, overpriced for December 29th brunch. I do recommend to go on occasion however. Brent from Stoney Creek, Ontario
We love the ambiance, and the view was spectacular. The food was good, but we all felt it was overpriced for the quality of good.
I had the pickerel. Pickerel was tasty and cooked well. The rice “patty” was stale, sticky, oddly-seasoned, and luke-warm. My partner had the ravioli. The portion was very small. The price of the dish did not make sense for the quality and amount.
We had the fruit tart for dessert. I have never had a dessert that tasted and looked this bad. The strawberries that were sliced on top were mostly white (un-ripe). I don’t even know what the filling was made of. Could not identify it. I had one bite, and could not eat anymore.
The view was nice.
I would go back to this restaurant only for the view and an alcoholic beverage.
It was great! First time ever that we had dinner with the family and it was a good experience. Can wait to visit again
Incredible view and perspective of Winnipeg. You are paying for the view. Restaurant is on different floor so food arrives tepid and not fresh. We were told it was impossible to have hot tea. Portions were quite tiny for the price. Service seemed rushed and unrelaxed. He did respond to our guestions or concerns.
The staff was super nice, even though we arrived very early. We misjudged traffic. They were super nice and we had the restaurant to ourselves. My food was not hot enough, but they fixed it very quickly and it was so good after the fix. I would go there again for the amazing view of our city.
Washrooms need to be cleaned properly and I miss more food options on the menu.
Server was extremely personable, but service was very slow. Once we finally ordered, it took quite a long time for food to arrive, and the restaurant was virtually empty - I think there were only 2 other tables.
Several errors were made on our orders, and one meal had to be sent back to the kitchen as their was a hair in it (right front and center, it was noticed before he started eating). We were comped a dessert tray in apology, which was a nice touch, but we would have preferred that the order was right the first time.
The food itself was very tasty, but portions were inconsistent - the cauliflower steaks were tiny and more like an appetizer, beet salad is virtually all beets (almost no greens - this seems strange), chicken sandwich was delicious & very juicy.
Watching the city go by while we chatted & ate was really interesting. It is truly amazing how far you can see, and how pancake flat the landscape is. I think the location lends itself more to drinks in the evening than a lunch.
Really enjoyed the evening, the food and service was great, the ambience was excellent and of course the view was spectacular.
I would recommend Prairie 360 because of the view, it is a pleasant atmosphere. I thought the brunch was just average, the omelette station was waiting to be stocked and by the time it was ready to go again, we had moved on (disappointing). Same wih the dessert table, the selection was minimal when we got to it. It would be nice to have cards or something to identify what each food is; the hot food containers could be cleaned up a bit. Overall, the restaurant could use some updating. I'm glad we went with our out of town guests, but not in a hurry to return.
Very neat restaurant, the view is amazing. The food however not so amazing. The restaurant was busy so we knew to be patient but it took over 30 minutes to get our appetizer. Once it arrived it was cold. Our meal probably arrived 20 to 30 mins after that. We ordered steak well done and it arrived medium rare. It was tasty with potatoes and a side of veggies. There was nothing really special about the potatoes they could have used some seasoning. And if I hadn't asked for pepper I think my steak would have been bland as well. We did love the atmosphere we may try going there for lunch one day instead. Dinner might not be worth it. Also could have used better signs on how to get there.
The restaurant wasn’t busy, but service was very slow. Food was not worth the cost.
We enjoyed our dining experience. My husband and I both ordered the 12pz steak. My husband was happy with his meal. Although I asked for mine well done, it came back cooked medium. The server apologized and had it sent back. I received a new steak cooked to my taste and the manager offered us a complimentary dessert from the menu. Very friendly staff.
I was hoping for more duck or venison - nope, just steak, chicken, and fish.
The blackened pickerel was good - my dish. I was told the steak was gristle and the chicken seemed to be assorted dry pieces. The dessert cake seemed to be Duncan Hines - a favourite of mine but not something I would expect to find at a restaurant.
Cannot beat the view though.
I would never recommend returning for a meal. A drink and a snack might be fine as the view was great!
The food was not tasty at all - very salty and uninteresting. The view was nice but we took the food home for our chickens as it was far to expensive to throw out.
Food was not worth the price!!! You are definitely paying for the incredible views of the city! Would go back for drinks and desert.
We arrived the restaurant appeared to mostly empty. We were taken to our table quickly. The server was pleasant. The bread was horrible the main courses slow coming out of the kitchen was average at best. Desserts we sub-par. We have been to several of the past restaurants in this location each time saying we won’t go back. If it weren’t for the view and our guests wanting to go, we wouldn’t.
Our reservation was for 5:30pm. It was a peaceful dining experience until approximately 7:00pm when a large group arrived. The noise factor hit the ceiling. I know the restaurant can do nothing about this but people should respect other diners. Food was very good however three people in our group wanted the same thing. We were told there was only two servings. The next choice was very good but the person was disappointed that the first choice was unavailable. Hope the large group did not want the same item! Our small group of three would come back.
Food was good, but a little pricey. Service was a bit slow, but our server may have been trying to respect the conversations.
Great views of the city.
Not inexpensive but a very good menu and very pleasant ambiance.
The restaurant was not crowded when we were there (Tuesday, very cold winter evening)
All-in-all, a very pleasant experience.
The only real obstacle we found was that we were there before 4:30 and we could not get into restaurant or even up to that floor to sit and wait for opening. The elevator should have it marked somehow not to try the 30th floor before 4:30. We kept trying all the floors to see if we could get off elevator and try another one to get to 30th floor, no one around to ask. Very very poor comunnication.!!
I wish there is more choice for food. Service is great. My girls really enjoy everything there. We booked 4:30 so that we don’t cause noice to ours because of kids.
