Prairie 360 Restaurant & Lounge
The food choices were limited and the portions were very small.
Day after the Wedding brunch
Good food, not much selection thou, server says they have a limited space in the kitchen. A little bit pricey for a small portion. Overall good experience. Best way to see the city’s skyline while dining. 👍
Good experience, nice waiters.
Food seemed slightly overpriced.
Mens washroom was disgusting.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to your restaurant. The server was prompt and friendly. Our meals were delicious. The only negative for me was that the menu is limited. For most I am sure the options are enough but for someone with food/health issues it was more difficult to choose. We would definitely like to return!
Devin was such a great server. He made our lunch - a birthday celebration - special. We enjoyed our food very much, as well.
My boyfriend and I had the best experience he’s in from Alberta and we thought what better place to enjoy Winnipeg than a restaurant that you can see the whole city from service was amazing the food was mouthwatering definitely Will be coming back again !!
We went for LeBurger week. Everything was great. No complaints.
4 Adults and 1 child. Not one adult liked the menu and the meals that were ordered. This new fusion menu was hard to understand exactly was was being served and many times had to ask the server what they were.
We waited close to an hour to get our food. My ravioli meal took about 5 minutes to consume (3 ravioli's on the plate) and if it wan't for the naan bread I ordered that would have pretty much been my meal. None of the ladies liked the salmon meal as it was swimming in a broth that was close to water it was so bland and a lot of bak choy. The beef plate that my father in law ordered was simply okay, but far from what he expected to get.
Only my daughters meal of mac and cheese was good. I liked it better than my ravioli meal! We were also disappointed that fresh baked bread was no long served as we waited for our meal. I don't know who made the call on that, but waiting almost an hour for our food made for some grumpy hungry patrons.
Had the $30 lamb shank, it had maybe 3 ounces of meat on it. Was very disappointed as for that price I would have expected it would have more meat on it, and perhaps a vegetable as well.
Menu is very limited and oddly laid out. Service average. Food terrible. Chicken looks like it was boiled and tasted rubbery. Salad dressing was tasteless. Nothing special. Glad we went on gift cards! Seems the place is having a hard time, no breads severed, even the candle and bowl half burnt out and dollar store quality.
Portions were much too small for the price that was charged. Shouldn't need to buy sides with your main meal when we paid $30 a plate.
Food, service, view were exceptional. The portions were small for the $.
Actually left the restaurant hungry
My chicken Tate’s like it was processed
It was horrible
The pasta was ok
Food was dry and small portion, paid 135.00. Not impressed.
Service and view was great though
I would recommend Prairie 360 to a friend for the experience, but if you're hungry and looking for a selection, this is not the place for you. The menu is limited and expensive.
My friends and I Love it and we will come back again!
We had a reservation for four at 10:30 am Sunday Brunch and enjoyed a great selection of hot entrees, salads and seafood along with an omlete station and dessert bar. The wait staff was attentive and accomodating without being overbearing.
Views were great, service was good but the food was mostly terrible. I had their spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were delicious, but the spaghetti sauce was burnt and ruined the pasta. My date had their steak tenderloin which was ordered medium rare but when it arrived at our table it was rare and very chewy. I wouldn’t recommend Prairie 360 to anyone because of the high price for low to average quality food.
Should improve the service level as soon as possible.
The elevator area on the main floor is unusually dark. Up at the restaurant, things were a lot nicer and welcoming. The majority of the seating area was along the outside windows, which was great! It's a "destination" restaurant so it seemed like most guests were tourists and people celebrating a special occasion. The view over the city was excellent. But you pay for this view. I would say the meal prices had about a $15 premium per person for this experience. For two people, you can easily exceed $100 for your bill. Food was OK and the proportions on most meals were on the small side. Service was average and staff were dressed quite casually. They will validate parking.
Server promised to bring updated menus and had to be reminded. Thai noodle bowl; duck and pickerel order s were wonderful. The $92 steak was ordered medium rare and arrived well done...and no way near the advertised 48 oz even with shrinkage due to cooking. Was offered free dessert due to delay in our meals but we know it was because the steak was overcooked. We had other plans for desert..so didn't accept. No discount offered, and no one asked how our meals were. I wouldn't recommend without warning People to avoid....of course the view is fantastic
our experience was as pleasant as you would expect at Prairie 360, with the best part being our exceptional server. she was honest when recommending dishes, as well as joking around with us when appropriate
For the price and the place thought its should be fancier everything it just simple . The food was ok the presentation not impressive for example I had an extra salmon so just go on the edge of the dip plate instead of make it part of the whole plate to me lack of effort. Kind of a little disappointed because we try to show of Winnipeg to a couple guest from another country
The overall experience was very disappointing and the service did not warrant the required 18% gratuity. We reviewed the bill after leaving and noticed additional charges. The server forgot part of our order (the salad) and brought it out after we had finished our meal (full charge). We consistently have better service at Salisbury House and will be posting a review on Google. The view is simply not worth the poor service.
We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie 360 on Thursday, August 22. Everything was wonderful! The two of us are looking forward to dining there again!
Food was delicious. Presentation was beautiful on all dishes. Waiter was great when restaurant was slow. As it picked up, he was really too busy. But all was great. The circular view was amazing including a beautiful sunset.
Food was good/ I asked for well done roast beef, their was non.
This was a restaurant we were really looking forward to try as a family but the view didn’t make up for the shortcomings
Sweet sixteen birthday. Food was good. Service was ok. Nothing extraordinary. Girls ordered sides not aware that they were huge portions. We ended up with way to much food.
Excellent service, good food. Parking not so good. The offer to pay for parking if you park in the multi storie underneath should be on the web site. Those who park elsewhere lose out.
The 4oz Steak on the squash purée was just not a great combination...bit too sweet and took away the nice taste of the meat. Service seemed a bit rushed considering it was not busy at all.
Food was ok, but the menu really needs to be changed.
Otherwise, the restaurant is nice and the view is great.
The food was great. The ambient is too simple for the level of the food! Old furniture and carpet. Looks dirty.
My parents and I had a lovely meal at Prairie 360 before I jumped on the train to Toronto. The restaurant has a bright lovely atmosphere complimented by artworks by local artists hung on the walls. Our server was welcoming and polite and was very knowledgeable about the menu and accompanying wine list. One of our party has a gluten intolerance and suitable options were clearly marked and in abundance. The food was well cooked and beautifully presented. We all enjoyed our meals without exception. The views on offer are second to none and really must be seen to be believed. The only downside was the condition of the men’s lavatory which left a little to be desired, a problem which could very easily be remedied. I have absolutely no problem recommending Prairie 360 to anyone looking to have lovely food in a lovely setting while taking in the very best views Winnipeg has to offer.
Our experience here was very good, it was a corporate outing for a new client. We were seated quickly. Drinks and our orders were taken quickly. and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The dessert took a fair amount of time, but was very good. The only reason I rated the service a 3 was the time it took to get dessert and the fact it was not that busy. Otherwise our experience was very good and the food was excellent , I would recommend to others, the views are very nice and it is a great spot to showcase Winnipeg to out of town guests.
Food quality was bad and not just for the overpriced menu but the actual quality of the food was below what you would expect from a normal meal let alone expecting what you pay for.
We got the charcuterie board for starters to share and it came with 3 type of cheddar and two types of meat with a pate, there was also a few strawberries in the centre. Certainly not what you would expect (you would expect pickles and at least one other type of cheese) and the quality was not great, even our waiter looked and said that it needs more meat and came out with water injected garlic sausage which clearly cost hardly anything and didn’t really fit the idea of a charcuterie board.
We then ordered steaks which came out with a few vegetables but again the steak cuts were not great, my steak was tough and pretty much full of fat more than meat, I would normal work through it but I had to leave half of it and was lacking in any real taste.
We then ordered the apple pie which when it came to the table tasted wrong, it appears they used savoury pastry to wrap the apples in and this gave the wrong flavour totally.
The best part of the meal was the coffee.
For someone that likes their food specially fine dining I have to say the food was below standards of a lot of restaurants in Winnipeg that would charge you half the price. I will say that the view was great and the service was excellent though.
In conclusion the menu is limited (not even all the items were available to order on our visit), it is way overpriced especially when taking in to account the food quality being poor. They try to sell themselves as fine dining but they done come even close to the mark. So why didn’t we complain? Well this is the third attempt at this restaurant as we so like the concept, in previous times we have complained (we been for brunch and dinner before) we ended up with a free visit to the restaurant. In this case we just simple don’t want to return and feel we given it enough attention.
If it wasn't for the difficulty to find the actual restaurant and the lack of cleanliness in the washrooms, the experience would have been much better.
Great view, good selection, mostly good food. The eggs were a bit meh, but otherwise the food was good. Brunch had chicken fingers available, which was entertaining.
First time at Prairie 360 with my husband. We both had a great time, we only ordered deserts and wine ( both was good and tasty)
Amazing experience enjoying the gorgeous view + good wine while slowly rotating.
The Sunset was gorgeous❤️
We went for our anniversary for 7pm on a Saturday - expected it to be quite full but to my suprise it was relatively empty. But they sat us right next to 2 tables of families with screaming children and running around, when there were several empty spots throughout the restaurant. if you even get slightly motion sickness i wouldn’t recommend, i don’t normally but by the end of the dinner i was really light headed. larger than normal portions but really expensive. the steak was way over cooked and they still charge you a lot to upgrade your sides. the drinks were really good. definitely more family oriented than and intimate setting (i assumed it was more intimate) we would go back, and hopefully have a better experience, but we won’t be rushing back there.
