Prairie 360 Restaurant & Lounge
The overall experience was very disappointing and the service did not warrant the required 18% gratuity. We reviewed the bill after leaving and noticed additional charges. The server forgot part of our order (the salad) and brought it out after we had finished our meal (full charge). We consistently have better service at Salisbury House and will be posting a review on Google. The view is simply not worth the poor service.
We had a wonderful dinner at Prairie 360 on Thursday, August 22. Everything was wonderful! The two of us are looking forward to dining there again!
Food was delicious. Presentation was beautiful on all dishes. Waiter was great when restaurant was slow. As it picked up, he was really too busy. But all was great. The circular view was amazing including a beautiful sunset.
Food was good/ I asked for well done roast beef, their was non.
This was a restaurant we were really looking forward to try as a family but the view didn’t make up for the shortcomings
Sweet sixteen birthday. Food was good. Service was ok. Nothing extraordinary. Girls ordered sides not aware that they were huge portions. We ended up with way to much food.
Excellent service, good food. Parking not so good. The offer to pay for parking if you park in the multi storie underneath should be on the web site. Those who park elsewhere lose out.
The 4oz Steak on the squash purée was just not a great combination...bit too sweet and took away the nice taste of the meat. Service seemed a bit rushed considering it was not busy at all.
Food was ok, but the menu really needs to be changed.
Otherwise, the restaurant is nice and the view is great.
The food was great. The ambient is too simple for the level of the food! Old furniture and carpet. Looks dirty.
My parents and I had a lovely meal at Prairie 360 before I jumped on the train to Toronto. The restaurant has a bright lovely atmosphere complimented by artworks by local artists hung on the walls. Our server was welcoming and polite and was very knowledgeable about the menu and accompanying wine list. One of our party has a gluten intolerance and suitable options were clearly marked and in abundance. The food was well cooked and beautifully presented. We all enjoyed our meals without exception. The views on offer are second to none and really must be seen to be believed. The only downside was the condition of the men’s lavatory which left a little to be desired, a problem which could very easily be remedied. I have absolutely no problem recommending Prairie 360 to anyone looking to have lovely food in a lovely setting while taking in the very best views Winnipeg has to offer.
Our experience here was very good, it was a corporate outing for a new client. We were seated quickly. Drinks and our orders were taken quickly. and food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. The dessert took a fair amount of time, but was very good. The only reason I rated the service a 3 was the time it took to get dessert and the fact it was not that busy. Otherwise our experience was very good and the food was excellent , I would recommend to others, the views are very nice and it is a great spot to showcase Winnipeg to out of town guests.
Food quality was bad and not just for the overpriced menu but the actual quality of the food was below what you would expect from a normal meal let alone expecting what you pay for.
We got the charcuterie board for starters to share and it came with 3 type of cheddar and two types of meat with a pate, there was also a few strawberries in the centre. Certainly not what you would expect (you would expect pickles and at least one other type of cheese) and the quality was not great, even our waiter looked and said that it needs more meat and came out with water injected garlic sausage which clearly cost hardly anything and didn’t really fit the idea of a charcuterie board.
We then ordered steaks which came out with a few vegetables but again the steak cuts were not great, my steak was tough and pretty much full of fat more than meat, I would normal work through it but I had to leave half of it and was lacking in any real taste.
We then ordered the apple pie which when it came to the table tasted wrong, it appears they used savoury pastry to wrap the apples in and this gave the wrong flavour totally.
The best part of the meal was the coffee.
For someone that likes their food specially fine dining I have to say the food was below standards of a lot of restaurants in Winnipeg that would charge you half the price. I will say that the view was great and the service was excellent though.
In conclusion the menu is limited (not even all the items were available to order on our visit), it is way overpriced especially when taking in to account the food quality being poor. They try to sell themselves as fine dining but they done come even close to the mark. So why didn’t we complain? Well this is the third attempt at this restaurant as we so like the concept, in previous times we have complained (we been for brunch and dinner before) we ended up with a free visit to the restaurant. In this case we just simple don’t want to return and feel we given it enough attention.
If it wasn't for the difficulty to find the actual restaurant and the lack of cleanliness in the washrooms, the experience would have been much better.
Great view, good selection, mostly good food. The eggs were a bit meh, but otherwise the food was good. Brunch had chicken fingers available, which was entertaining.
First time at Prairie 360 with my husband. We both had a great time, we only ordered deserts and wine ( both was good and tasty)
Amazing experience enjoying the gorgeous view + good wine while slowly rotating.
The Sunset was gorgeous❤️
We went for our anniversary for 7pm on a Saturday - expected it to be quite full but to my suprise it was relatively empty. But they sat us right next to 2 tables of families with screaming children and running around, when there were several empty spots throughout the restaurant. if you even get slightly motion sickness i wouldn’t recommend, i don’t normally but by the end of the dinner i was really light headed. larger than normal portions but really expensive. the steak was way over cooked and they still charge you a lot to upgrade your sides. the drinks were really good. definitely more family oriented than and intimate setting (i assumed it was more intimate) we would go back, and hopefully have a better experience, but we won’t be rushing back there.
Skyline tenderloin was amazing, and the service was awesome too! Would like to go again during sunset time bc the view was incredible!
Our server was exceptional, both knowledgeable and helpful with the menu. Would definitely recommend the steak and lobster! The charcuterie board was also very delicious with a great variety of cheeses!
Steak was poor, service great view wonderful, choice limited... kind of expensive for the choice
Amazing experience! Loved the view, food and service!
Family gathering for post wedding wrap up !
Duck - rather overdone, but they did substitute squash puree for the polenta. 4 oz tenderloin was good. Thai bowl - lots of noodles and no protein for 28... not sure why anyone would order that but one person in our group did. Totally uninspired. That is the problem with the menu - uninspired. Spaghetti and meatballs? Fish and chips? They were out of asparagus. Nothing interesting to share in the appetizer section. But the view is great - that is why this place exists!
The food was amazing and views were even better. It was a fun birthday dinner! We only had issues finding which elevator to use to get to the restaurant. Other than that experience was great!
Excellent, excellent on every level!!! We had wonderful meal...view was awesome.. ..will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Wanted pork belly, but was out of menu. It was the only main thing which attracted me to come here and was a best combination with wine too.
Limited choice of food , overall experience was okay except the view was the best !
This place has spectacular views. While our appetizer missed the mark, the main course was a delicious and memorable feast we could not even finish; we absolutely would return. The rotating dining room allows you to really experience Winnipeg.
It is amazing place to enjoe with your family! Tasty dishes and excellent service!
The servers were excellent! Food was great and view was amazing.
For the price of the dinner and the prestige of the restaurant, I would have expected better service.
I have gone twice in a month with out of town guest's and it was great view of the city. Both time's there was hardly any one in there. This place should be more busy, as I would never like to see it close because of lack of business. When I tell people in Wpg that I went, a lot would say is it still open? Or ,is it open at lunch?I feel this is management fault as I never see it advertised for being open for lunch. Also,I would like to see some changes in the menu once in awhile, to be able to have only a few choice's.As,not much has changed in a year. The same guy that served us both time's was great!
Wonderful waiter and service. Good portion sizes. Too bad they covered the gold roof and some of the details that used to be there. Some wear and tear on the décor.
The food tasted great. The 1.5 hrs we were there we were able to see all of Winnipeg as it seems that’s how long it takes for the restaurant to spin a whole circle. Laura was our server and I felt she was a bit rude and we had to wait quite a bit in order to order and get our bills. Definitely a place to visit in Winnipeg.
A great place for a special occasion or for out of town visitors - an amazing sky tour of Winnipeg!
It was an okay experience. There are tons of other brunch options in Winnipeg that offer the exact same quality of food for a similar or cheaper price. I guess you are paying for the view. Wasn’t overly impressed.
We went for the view and atmosphere, of course, but the food was quite tasty, too. The service was pretty attentive as well. The price was quite decent by US standards. I'd have enjoyed the place for the food and service alone, although the views are probably unequaled in town.
Way too expensive. Food was average, but still a cool experience.
The thai dish was very poorly prepared with the rice noodles being very overcooked. Also needed more of a variety of vegetables. Have had fast food thai from the mall was better than this and 1/4 of the cost.
The view is great. The food was to be honest not good at all. The homemade meatballs were just blah and the sauce was like a plain ragu from the can. Staff seemed overworked. The bartender was very young and rude to us when he didn’t know a drink. The place needs a new menu!
Great food, and drinks. Menu was a little small, but the feature menu was delicious. Friendly server, and knowledgeable server. Amazing views of the city!
The view was amazing but the food was not worth the price. I had the catch of the day and it came with over cooked freezer burned peas.
