    Pravda used to have a Soviet ambiance, with communist music, Soviet party, Soviet/communist decorations. It used to be truly an I retesting place to go. Now, it's just another Toronto lounge, with a belly dancer and some rated dancers. The anthem of the Soviet Union used to be played at midnight. Not anymore. I no longer recommend this place as you can find better in Toronto since it's no longer unique.

    So terrible….walked in let them know we had a reservation but no one cares! We were told that second floor was closed ….very shocked and disappointed for a Friday night….waiting for ordering drinks for a long time, we were led to sit at a booth which already had a couple sitting there, we had to force them out….so horrible. We left after one drink.

    The lady that was serving us was not into doing that at all. I asked if we could seat outside , which was empty…and it took her time to answer me. Then, instead of walking us to the patio with the menus, she put the menus on the counter kind of waiting us to tell her what we want. I mean , seriously?! So I asked if I could take the menu with me so we could seat and check it. It took her another moment to say something. Glasses were dirty - I mean, I could see someone’s lips marks on the glass. She brought water for some of us, later she decided to bring a glass for the person that was without water in a glass full of ice. Nobody asked for ice. Not sure why she did that. Just after she brought the drinks, she asked if we wanted the bill. She didn’t even offer food or waited to offer one more drink. It seems that she really wants the bar to be close. It was a frustrating experience. I was expecting much more of that place.

    We are very disappointed with quality of food. Shrimp skewers tasted rubbery & were cold, how can a place serve this? Tasted like they had been sitting in the kitchen. Waitress was very lovely & attentive, we would've given a 1 star if not for her.

    Was a really good atmosphere but the service was pretty bad. We ordered drinks and waited 45 mins to get them. We also ordered 2 bottles and it took almost an hour and a half for them. At first they told us they only had 1 bottle of what we ordered so we said okay and changed the 2nd bottle. When they finally brought the bottles out, they brought the wrong bottle (a cheaper one) and the bartender said she could make the price the same as the more expensive bottle. In other words she would charge us more for the cheaper wrong bottle she brought out. It wasn't the best customer service. There was also another bartender who was rude as hell. I asked her for ice and she told me sorry you need to find your bartender when, it was just ice and she was overly rude about it. The night was overall good after that but don't think I'd be returning anytime soon.

    This visit was my first time back to Pravda since pre covid days. It has changed significantly and I was disappointed - it is not the establishment it used to be.

    The servers were friendly but the service was horrible. Waited over 5 minutes to be seated, waited over 40 minutes for food after being told by one server that the kitchen was closed even though it wasn’t. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt since they said they were short staffed, but something was definitely lacking in the service.

    We are sorry you were disappointed with your experience. Unfortunately some of our staff were away because of the long weekend leaving us a bit short staffed. The kitchen was in fact closed however one cook agreed to stay on given that orders were coming in and we wanted to accommodate guests. Perhaps we should have just closed instead as it seems instead of trying to please guests, it caused aggravation with the wait time. We hope you consider joining us again.

    The place is a classic but needs a bit of re-vibe in look and perhaps an upgrade on lighting, especially close to the stairs going up. A bit darky if you know what I mean but if you get the right mood, not too bad. I wouldn’t go back there just for another 6-12 months. Parking is awful as none avail!

    Great time for my 40th and the bartenders were really nice. The DJ at the time was horrible (not sure what happened). Usually there's a male DJ that's decent but there was a female that couldn't read the room (not many dancing) and only played for herself not for the crowd to have a good time.

    I made a reservation for two and was on time. When we got there we were told there were no tables to sit at as they were full and that we would have to sit at the bar. The bar was full. There was no where to sit. I vocalized that I had a reservation. The hostess just shrugged her shoulders and and repeated that all the tables were full. What’s the pointing making a reservation of it doesn’t mean anything. $20 martini was good, not great. So no table meant we couldn’t order food. Overall we were disappointed.

    Server was awesome, we got a charcuterie board that was basically olives for 26 dollars. The drinks although pricey were delicious. They seem to have a great variety of entertainment so I would definitely recommend for a night out but not as a place to get food!!

    Booked a table for 7pm. Upon arrival was told to wait downstairs as the "upstairs" wouldn't open for another hour. Food menu was missing many items from the online menu. Ended up eating elsewhere and coming back for 8.30 when entertainment starts. Was given a table in the absolute back corner of the restaurant. Table was not cleaned, was sticky and had been spilled on. Server did not bother cleaning it when she brought us our drinks. Ordered two different cocktails from the menu, and could not tell which tasted worse. Despite being all the way in the back where we could not see any performers, music was overbearingly loud and impossible to have a conversation. Clientele quickly got out of their tables and would stand, jump and dance in the walkway which quickly became a large annoyance than it was entertaining. Overall this place went from a classy lounge, to a poor-effort club. Will not visit again

    Table was reserved for 2.5 hours. Server retained credit card when we sat down for food. At the 2 hour mark she returned with my credit card and informed us we had settle up the bill and leave the table because another reservation was coming in. She didn’t ask if we wanted anything else prior to asking us to settle the bill and leave the table. Also, once we left the table and ordered an additional glass of wine from the bar we were told to go downstairs to get the wine because there was no more wine on the second floor. We were also told they were out of regular vodka and only premium was available at $50 per shot. No other party sat at the table once we were told to leave. I’d like to mention we were a group of 4 professional ladies out celebrating a birthday. Service was slow and disorganized. Overall a very disappointing evening.

It's impossible for our Vodka Bar to run out of regular vodka given the amount of stock we carry that is visible in the vodka freezer and there are no shots priced at $50 so we are unsure what occurred but we would be pleased to hear from you.

    Pravda was always a go to when celebrating. With new ownership and name change, Brash & Sassy is definitely the cities hottest spot. Great staff & great atmosphere! I highly recommend

    Had an awesome time with friends for my birthday! Owner was very nice and helpful! vibe was great and the music towards the later night got really good! upstairs is definitely a better vibe than downstairs

    The bartender and our server was great However the hostess who is responsible for the reservations really doesn’t know what’s going on We got there five minutes before our reservation at 10 PM talk to the hostess and went to the bathroom When we came back to find her she gave our table away and said that’s our fault and there’s nothing she could do We ended up sitting in the main foyer with another group of people whose reservation also was not honored

Our hostess was disappointed with your comments as she genuinely thought you had left the venue and tried her best to accommodate you with seating. The other group you mentioned had booked for double the number of people that arrived and therefore had to wait for a table to become available. They were seated as soon as a table for their group size became available.
