We went there for thanksgiving. The special they had on was superb and had options for vegans, which was appreciated. Very good value, and the service was prompt

Food was very good. We liked the idea of a set menu set price . The items on the menu were also reasonably priced. Service was very good

Preston restaurant provided a nice reserved table for 4; the service was prompt and food generally of high quality, more than sufficient amount and also prompt. Able to finish lunch in less than an hour unlike some locations where it seems the plan is to keep guests unreasonably long. Thank-you

Went for Valentines Day dinner and wasn’t disappointed.

The food and service here is Fantastic.

Had some appetizers from regular menu also Tasty. Will have to try the regular menu one day but I like their Specialty menus so far.

We Enjoy this place very much and will continue to dine here.

Could not even eat my meal, it was horrible. The manager apologized took off the meal, but I left hungry. Do not consider this restaurant if you expect to eat your food. My husband's meal was not eaten also. Manager and server were great but fix the menu and the chef or this restaurant will end up closing the doors

Great location, food presented nicely and delicious. Service was great, not too busy when we went. Will come back and try happy hour.

Layout of the dining area prevents better customer service. The restaurant is rectangular in shape and have tables in U-shaped booths along the wall. The high booth backing is great for privacy but hard for the waitress/waiter to see our calls. Suggest maybe leaving a service call button on the table as remedy.

Food was great, way better than expected, slightly salty on the main. Can improve on the dessert. The Japanese cheesecake looks like bread more than a cake, and the ice cream on the chocolate ganache could be replaced with a smoother brand of ice cream (it came out with ice crystals all over, meaning it has been sitting in the fridge for quite some time)

The food was awful and the service was even worse. Extremely disappointed. The food was hardly touched which was obvious that we weren’t happy with it and it was just taken away and nothing offered as remediation.

A good restaurant guaranteed for quality food and service. Keep it up.

My friend's salad had too many yellow leaves, but the waiter offered her 50% off the price of it, which was nice. My soup and pasta were good. Not too many people for a New Year Eve early dinner, table and restaurant spacious. They have a one and a half hour limit for a table for 2, but maybe because there were no one waiting in line so they didn't rush you to finish, which let us take our time to eat and gave us plenty of time to chitchat. Overall pleasant experience.

Went for New Year’s Eve dinner menu...was Excellent

Still serves the best clam chowder in town! Food was fresh, well seasoned, and a great value for the price. This restaurant has a great staff and were very attentive. Only comment was that I had made the booking online and they asked what the occasion was but never really mentioned it throughout our time there. Still highly recommended!

What a Christmas disappointment. We were visiting Vancouver and looked at reviews of restaurants that would be open on Christmas Day. Not only was Prestons open, they had a wonderful prefix menu available for Christmas Day. We booked a table for ourselves and our traveling companions. When we got there the on duty manager was very nice and seated us early. But the menu she handed us was nothing like the menu listed on THEIR website. It was not only a limited menu (not even their regular menu) , it had two parts, a basic lunch menu and then a slightly expanded menu for later in the evening. I approached the mgr and was told that she was sorry but that was the menu. I showed her their own website right then with the holiday menu....She was not particularly concerned with making our experience anything other than a dissapointment. As we were leaving(the mistake, the lack on much of a menu and the mgr's attitude made it not worth staying) a waitstaff person suggested that we try the Marriott next door. Thankfully she did because the Marriott was a very nice experience. We're visitors so it doesn't matter much but we'd never recommend Prestons. If I could give them zero stars I would.

We went during happy hour. Both food and drinks were very good.

I called and spoke with the manager who assured me he will address the poor disorganized service and poor quality food with his staff. Although he offered a discount for the next visit, I'm not sure my colleagues will want to bring clients there again.

We really enjoyed it and I have booked back for Christmas. Looking forward to it.

Wonderful place for a family get together. Menu was varied and had choices for all of us. We always make sure to eat here when we visit Vancouver. The quality of the food is consistent. Love this restaurant.

The food was excellent, and there were a number of choices for different types of eaters. It was very nice and modern, and the staff were friendly and prompt. I ate there for dinner, and would do so again next time in Vancouver.

The service was absolutely terrible. There were maybe 5 other tables with 3 servers available, and twice we had to go ask for service as they were all standing around talking.
The food was mediocre at best. Definitely would never go there again.

Wonderful place and nice enclosed seating!

We were there with a large group and really looked forward to celebrating a friend's bday with a nice brunch. The restaurant was really cold and no one was there at 11:00 on a Sunday - which is never a good sign. When it came time to order, there was a lot of confusion and it took a long time. Then it took an hour to get our food and the servers couldn't figure out who got what plate. Several of the orders were also wrong. The food was actually good - and prices weren't bad at all. Paying was a whole different nightmare - the servers had no idea what they were doing... New leadership is greatly needed here. This place should have been packed.

The server was a very polite, well-meaning worker who clearly needed more training (or more help).
The quitarist/singer was inappropriately loud for a restaurant. He would have been perfect at an outdoor concert but the volume made dinner conversation ver difficult.

We arrived early around 6 for our reservation. We were immediately seated and our order was taken. The restaurant was not very busy. We waited over an hour to get our food. We had 2 small children. With the tip already added, we didn't even have recourse to adjust. Poor service!

It's a great restaurant with a fantastic atmosphere, friendly servers and great food! Their happy hour is one of the best deals in the city!

Seafood paella and baked cod in parchment wrap were ordered. The proportion and amount of the protein in each dish was very good.

The quality/choice of the paella rice could improve. The rice wasn’t the appealing chewy type and it didn’t blend well with the texture of the sauce.

The presentation, the cooking method of all the ingredients, and choice of side ingredients for the cod dish were disappointing. It seemed like the dish was one that could be easily replicated cooking at home. This dish really lacked skill and thought.

We had a colleague visiting from the UK and all met here for breakfast.
Perfect location and good spot for seven of us to meet and chat

We had a reservation booked for 7 people. The warning sign was when the first person arrived and the staff seemed to have no idea about our reservation.
They arranged a table for us, but it then took over 20 minutes to get coffee and our orders taken. When our food finally arrived about an hour after we first sat down, one order was cold and two were just wrong (one was comped). The food was...fine, but for the price and location I was expecting much better.
We had to ask for coffee refills instead of the server checking on us, and after clearing all our plates the staff disappeared for another 15 minutes without bringing us our bills or seeing if we needed anything.
Overall, a disappointing experience.

Attentive service from welcoming to serving and follow up during dinner. A member in my group was very impressed at the food quality (he ordered the steak sandwich and was cooked to perfection).

We didn't realize this was in a hotel. It had a very strange vibe and was very pricey for the ambiance, decor and food. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. We stayed for one drink and an appetizer and then ran.

Food was amazing, def worth a second trip! The service absolutely amazing, so glad our server offered me the right type of white wine for my dessert. She went the extra mile to ask my preference of what I would like for my dessert. Def recommend your location. Thank you

We enjoyed our meal and evening. This is a small restaurant/lounge in the Coast Hotel, so it’s basic in decoy but pleasant. The portions were small for my husband, but we did enjoy the food.

Very nice to try something new in the neighbourhood and very much enjoy the experience. The food was beautifully prepared with some nice twists to the tradition fare out there and thanks to Tim our experience was exceptional.

We had a group of 7 and the service and food were exceptional! One even remarked that it was the best dine out they've experienced by far. Would definitely come back to try out the regular menu. Highly recommend!
