   We visited Primo Orlando as I’ve always enjoyed my meal at Primo in Rockland. We were celebrating our friend who graduated with her masters degree. The food was amazing and the perfect treat after a long tiresome experience of obtaining her degree. We shared 2 appetizers and a pizza, and we all shared 3 entrees. Everything was delicious. I was a little surprised to see the red sauce pairing with the sweet potato ravioli but it was none the less yummy. We finished it with a bread pudding to share that was perfect.

   Great food and service as always. Only let down was the cannoli we had for dessert. The shell was nice and light and fresh but the filling was rather plain.

   The food and service were both amazing. The only hitch in the night were the acoustics in the restaurant. My Fiancée and I were only 3 feet from each other and we were having to shout at each other. Not a deal-breaker but not very intimate.

   We were treated very well ! The waiter was amazing and he told the owner Chef Melissa Kelly about our being big fans. She came to see us and take pictures. They noted my daughter’s birthday as well! It was a fantastic dining experience! And our special occasion memorable !

   Food and service were outstanding. The server was so knowledgeable about the food and wine menu, he was conversational and helpful. The food was so flavorful and very enjoyable. Would love to eat here again next time we visit.

    My new Fiancée and I were celebrating our engagement at the JW Marriott. Our whole stay was an amazing experience except for our dinner at Primo. We arrived at 8:30 for our reservation and were sat by the host. Nice quiet atmosphere. After our server introduced himself and brought water and the wine we ordered, he was non existent. We had to keep calling other staff members to help us take our orders, clean the table etc. Our appetizers were ordered with our server’s assistance (baby kale salad and arancini) made it to the table 45 minutes later by 9:15. Only one out of the 2 pizzas we ordered made it by 9:50 as the other one was overcooked and we had to cancel it. Our server again was careless until the host sat a party of about 15 people next to us where he appeared for the second time the whole night. Our reservation was made by the hotel concierge who made a note that it was our engagement but no one seemed to care. For a recommended restaurany by the “michelin guide”, the food was rather OK, but this was a very disappointing and even frustrating experience considering the high level of service at the hotel and the occasion we were celebrating. I did not want to make a big deal out of it at the spot as my fiancée and I were trying to enjoy and celebrate but I really hope the service at the restaurant improves.

    Sat for almost 20 minutes before a server came to table. There were about 4 servers walking around waiting on everyone else, except us. Seemed to be some confusion as to who had our table. Asked the hostess to find our server and it was another 10 minutes before some one showed up. For the prices not sure it was worth it. Live locally so have gone multiple times. Feels like quality has gone down.

    Actually dined a couple of times in the bar area. Service the first night was a bit slow to start but good overall. Second night service was so much better. Duck confit is delicious and the cheese and meat board is wonderful. A wonderful charcuterie board. Chicken Milanese is a large portion but seems to lack something in flavor. Always a fan of squid ink pasta, Primo changed the pasta from a bucatini to a fusilli. Not a fan of the change. Overall the restaurant is beautiful. It went through a major remodel a few years ago. The bar has some interesting cocktails and the staff is nice and friendly.

    Grilled octopus was excellent as was the wine. Chicken Milanese was tasty but too thick. Should be very thin. Bread also good but better if warmed. Saltimboca could have used more spinach. Service and ambiance were terrific. Not trying to be overly critical, just offering observation. We’ll be back.

    We’ve been to Primo several times before and have always had a good experience. It was recently remodeled and so the carpet and wood furnishings were removed which means a really high noise level when it is busy. Perhaps sitting outside on the terrace would offer a quieter environment.

    Everything was fantastic however our 2 pasta dishes, we found to be very salty. I have had black ink squid before and it can be a bit on the salty side but it was too salty, and so was the other pasta dish. Appetizers, bread, wine and special desert were great.

    Having stayed at Grande Lakes multiple times over the past 15 years, we've had the opportunity to dine at Primo on several occasions. It was OK but never our favorite. However, we decided to try it again during our most recent visit. We were all very pleasantly surprised. The service and meals were much better. We will definitely come back.

    We make a trip over to Orlando for a weekend getaway & to eat at Primo. Absolutely delicious Italian food. Tomas & Keyshawn are amazing (and so are the other staff). The red snapper entree was to die for!

    I was surprised the food wasn’t very good. The grilled octopus was burned, the chicken milanese was tough and required a steak knife and the donuts were just ok. Disappointing.

    Food was fabulous! Service was very attentive. Pace of meal perfect. Bread was great (and I didn't mind the minimal charge for it,) and the balsamic was so good! Nice selection of Bourbons. Fantastic desserts! We ate every bite of our meals! We will be back the next time we stay at Grande Lakes !

    Once seated, our server greeted me by name, something that has never happened with an OpenTable reservation. She was able to recommend portion sizes and gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. When we ordered a pasta dish that contained meat, she wanted to make sure we knew what we had ordered since my OpenTable profile showed I am a pescatarian, also something that has never happened at any restaurant with an OpenTable reservation.     Celebrating our wedding anniversary, Drew made us feel very welcome and he’s very informative. The food was above par, with the seasonal crab bisque being slammed packed with flavor, as well as the duck. Stars of the night were the Pork Saltimbocca & the Ribeye. Was so full and happy by the end of the night, I promised to tell my family and friends to eat at Primo.
