Great experience. Food and desert were outstanding.
Service was excellent. Had the lamb shank as main course. Lamb was tough and overcooked. My guest had Mussels and the Bison Tourtiere both of which were reported as excellent. I have been a long time fan of this restaurant, and, this was the first time I was disappointed. So, I will go back and continue to enjoy. A little disappointment happens.
A go to restaurant for us. Relaxing place to have lunch. So nice to be able to sit afterwards with a good cup of loose leaf tea.
Everything was lovely. The food was good along with the service. Sorry, one negative comment. We found it cold in there yesterday. Otherwise, very good.
Food was fantastic. Definitely coming back for round 2 for breakfast. Our server was pleasant. No complaints.
All day Breakfast is great! Soup & sandwiches are house made.
Always enjoy the food. The ham and cheese crepes were delicious, and equally as good were the bison burgers. Friendly and efficient service.
The chicken dishes have never disappointed us. I love the Tourtiere as it was a dish that my mother and grandmother made for a special Christmas treat.
My husband had the fish which was prepared with a delicious sauce [ trout ]. La Promenade is one of our favorite restaurants in Winnipeg.
Everything was great however the table height was inappropriate, too low for us.
Un très bon repas avec une amie sur la terrasse en une très belle journée d’automne! Tout était magnifique!
Our waiter Nick, was amazing. He made me the best extra dirty martini. The french onion soup was delicious! Merciii :)
Requested a dish I’ve had 10+ times that is no longer on the menu. They said they could make it anyway, and it was nowhere close to what I had in the past.
Not sure if the chef changed or something but I used to LOVE Promenade!
Great place for brunch! Yummy lattes! Great atmosphere!
It was five star all the way. Nothing more to say!!
Loved the ambiance, food was pretty good too. Drinks may be a little expensive, but there are so many other places to go to in the area that we just went with water and could go for a coffee/beer after. Great place for brunch!
This is one of my favourite spots for a Sunday Brunch. Make sure you have reservations though as it can be hard to get into!
Very disappointed croque Madam has been removed from menu. Being a French restaurant you can’t get more French than that and it was always done beautifully. !
Friend onion soup and the burger for burger week were fantastic!
The best place in Winnipeg. Very good food. Friendly staff. Very good service.
One of the best patio views in downtown Winnipeg. Catch it at sunset for the perfect lighting!
Excellent menu choices. Server was very friendly and was knowledgable of menu and helpful in assisting us in our choices. Food was hot and delicious.
Everything was excellent! Outstanding food and service. Enjoyed the whole experience immensely. Would highly recommend Promenade Cafe!
Their le burger week burger was amazing! Had mussels & frites as well. Outdoor patio is a little run down but you can’t beat the view of the Esplanade Riel bridge!
Went for burger week! Burger was good! Service good; staff wearing masks and tables distanced as per protocols.A very pleasant dining experience.
Good service, tasty food (tourtiere ) and restful atmosphere.
Food was tasty. Server was friendly and attentive. Some updating needed as chair coverings were worn and curtains very drab and unattractive.
A menu with an emphasis on local food, you can't go wrong with any of the bison dishes from here.
The staff were attentive and mindful of Covid protocols. We both had the lamb and it was excellent.
Great venue as usual, keep coming back and I’ll always come back. Bon travail!
Absolutely exquisite except the mashed potato was rather tasteless and disappointing considering the taste of the main dish chicken and vegies and soup.
I had the pork tenderloins which were very tasty (maybe slightly overdone but better that than underdone). The broccoli and creme brûlée were both very good. I was not a fan of the mashed potatoes, though. They were a bit dry and packed down. I would have preferred seasoned roasted potatoes. But otherwise, it was a very pleasant evening. Thank you.
Great food and excellent service!
Food is all ways great and the servers make you feel welcomed.
Consistently excellent food and service. Always a pleasure to dine here, and the view of our lovely downtown, especially out on the patio on a summer evening simply can’t be beat!
Certain dishes portions were small (poutine). Service was very good though and flavour was also very good. The dressing on the salad was lacking gusto. Tourtiere de bison was excellent.
Great service and location. We sat outside on the patio so there was noise from traffic but the view of the cityscape is worth it all. Cost is a bit much for breakfast.
We sat on the patio and enjoyed the beautiful summer evening
Wonderful meal. They were so accommodating with my request for dairy-free options. Every bite was delicious and the service was lovely!
My Mum and I went to Promenade Café and Wine for brunch on their patio. Our server was quick and very personable - great service - and the ham and Swiss crepes we both had were so delicious! We had our brunch on their expanded patio - which has the most incredible view in the city.
Great food and great service!
The food was terrific and the Service is always great! The view with a window seat is beautiful too!
