   I asked for a gluten free bun and she gave me a normal bun so I have to wait more to get it do again without gluten and the service was super slow, no refills, everything I asked it was taking too long to get like a sauce for my burger, when she came with the sauce my burger was done already. Very nice place and kind of expensive to have such a poor service.

   Service was great, but food and drink was disappointing this time. Drink - ordered a Sidecar cocktail ($13.95). Cocktail seemed to be missing the Cointreau. Food - ordered the 7 oz. Bacon Wrapped Tenderloin - prepared medium ($48.95). Steak served over cooked, dry. Sent back. Steak served again under done, chewy and appeared to be an end cut.

   Best tenderloin steak imaginable. Accompanying veggies and jus perfect. The ambience not so good with noisy reception/ cocktail party going on with open access to the dining room.

   We enjoyed the food was great and made with fresh ingredients. The kitchen and server were careful with my gluten free food due to an allergy. The lighting at each table was poor and it was hard to read the menu . Otherwise it was great .

    Exceptional dinner. Our server provided great recommendations and everyone at our table was pleased. We were so full from dinner that we had to skip dessert. Will be sure to leave room next time!

    I took a friend to Proof for a birthday celebration--it was her first time there. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal, the staff were super courteous and attentive and the birthday dessert for my special guest was a great way to end the evening. Bravo Proof!

    Drinks were good, but the food was disappointing. Had some appetizers and they weren’t good at all. The calamari was so over cooked that it was inedible. Although, the service was good.

    Amazing mains with some fantastic Indian inspired dishes. While the charcuterie board left a little to be desired the attentiveness of the staff and quality of the mains more than made up for it. I would absolutely recommend Proof Kitchen for a get together, celebratory dinner, or a nice night out.

    Kyle provided fantastic service, suggesting lovey wine pairings that we would have otherwise overlooked. The food was delicious and the ambiance is both modern and relaxing - I’m a big fan of the dim lighting. We will be back!

    I imagine that there may have been staffing issues. Our server was working hard, but may have had too many customers to serve. Food was very good. Took a while to get our drinks. The place didn’t seem all that busy, but I could only see a few tables from where I was sitting.

    We love going to Proof. It’s definitely a go to for us. It was prime rib night and those who ordered it cleaned their plates and raved about it. Our server, Kyle, made suggestions for us and was able to get a special appetizer for a couple at our table. Great place for vegetarians to eat - fiesta bowl is delicious. Drink menu is always creative with a good selection of local beers.

    We unfortunately did not have a good experience at this restaurant. The service was extremely slow. Took way too long to receive our wine and beer we ordered. Didn’t come until after the food arrived. The appetizer was alright, nothing special. Our meals however were awful. Both of us couldn’t finish it. The salmon and shrimp was very over cooked. We were hoping to order another drink but our waitress never came by to ask us if we needed anything. Took forever to get the machine to pay our bill too. Judging from other reviews this is common.

    It had been awhile since we'd eaten at Proof and we went, to celebrate a birthday, in hopes of returning to a previous favourite restaurant. The food was good, but overpriced and portions were small. The service was okay, but the servers lacked presence and attention. There was a lot of hotel hustle and bustle. We all left disappointed and wished I hadn't chosen Proof as a place to celebrate a birthday.

    I have to say that our server was absolutely amazing. Well spoken, friendly, fun, extremely on point, all around some of the best service I've had in quite some time. The front of house staff also making our request work for seating despite us being a little late for our reservation was fantastic. The food was delectable on all counts as well, the ambience was outstanding, and overall the restaurant wasn't loud or obnoxious in the least. Extremely happy with the experience, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a fine dining experience.

    Proof restaurant offers something for everyone’s palette. I don’t eat red meat.. so they had vegetarian dishes. The dishes my friend and I ordered were delicious. Service was excellent. The atmosphere was quiet and cosy.

    Proof has become a favourite spot for me - they are wonderful with food allergies and sensitivities, and the serving staff is incredibly knowledgeable about their menu. Their dedicated fryer for French fries is an added bonus, as someone with Celiac disease

    Awful experience. Almost one hour waiting for our food, and the place was empty, it doesn’t make sense.. We left the place and go to another one to get food. The most slowest service in life.
