   We visited Vancouver and decided to have a romantic dinner. The restaurant location is perfect for that special occasion. The wine list is extensive. When you come here take your time and enjoy the atmosphere and the view. We had a few appetizers, dinner, and desserts. Everything that came out looked and smelled amazing. I strongly recommend this place for dinner but remember to make reservations since the place is pretty busy.

   Disappointed in the Prawn Provençal - have had it several times in the past and it’s always been great but last night the prawns were over cooked and not very flavourful. The crab cakes however were very good.

    Disappointed. In this great eating town I wanted some seafood. We got it but it was undistinguished. So loud we had to sit next to each other to talk at all. My cocktail arrived after my entree, because we asked for it. Not happy with our outing.

    My favorite local restaurant. I take many friends here and thet are always impressed. Shout out to our delightful waitress from the Philippines. She always remembers that I like Americano coffee!

    It’s our favorite restaurant in Vancouver! We are from Austin, TX! Been coming here for quite a few years!! It’s our first restaurant to dine at when we get to Vancouver! We try to come twice a year to see our son who lives here. Joka took care of us again and did a great job! The food was amazing. We will be back for Sunday brunch tomorrow!

    The food was great, but they had live music which was a surprise. As the dinner was catching up with friends, the music made conversation difficult. Would certainly return, but would check first if there was live music that night and adjust the day accordingly.

    We dined there last night (my third time) as it was my birthday and we came with a large group. There was live jazz music off to the side of the restaurant and it was so pleasant. It made my birthday extra special! Many of us had the mushroom ravioli with prawns or scallops and it was consistently impeccable! My father had the seafood platter and was overjoyed with the amount of seafood and flavors. We ordered some hot half baguettes to start with the Jim Beam butter (our waiter recommended and it was to die for)! The restaurant was moderately busy but not overly crowded or noisy and the table spacing was good. The ambience was lovely and the lighting was great. We will definitely be back to celebrate many more special occasions. Our waiter was very attentive and all of our food came out at the same time which was as nice. I have no complaints or improvements for how the evening could have gone better! Our guests who had never dined there before were very impressed and satisfied with their meals.

    The main dish was really good because they had two options, and we tried both. They were both great, for the starters I wish they had more options. It was only type of dish. Our server Jacob was very friendly and polite, so was every other server, so great customer service and the food tasted pretty good and fresh. Actually just not my taste. I hope they had at least more than one option just like they did with the main dish, the desert and the main dish were fantastic. I love that. I liked 3/6 of the dishes that were served but I tried all and don’t regret it , I would recommend this place to seafood lovers, based on the food and the service I estimated about $250 a value and I got charged 270 which is actually good it’s not overpriced . The washroom is clean. They spent a lot of time decorating the place for Valentine’s Day, which was nice. The one thing I did not like was how all the tables were right next to each other, giving it a dining hall Experience. 4/5

    The food is good, service is good. But they set up too many tables, I could hold hands with the people sitting right next to my table. So, it is very noisy! We could not have a "very relax" dinner, and we hoped we would eat faster and leave the restaurant sooner. The price is too high, we had set dinner, the portion of each course is so little. After finished the whole dinner, I still felt hungry ( I don't eat much for every meal normally). We had one cocktail each, and the amount on the bill is about $340. Too expensive!

    The portion sizes for a $135/person meal were too small. The “palate cleanser” was licorice shaved ice which was too overpowering; a lot of folks hate licorice, so perhaps it would be better to go with a citrus-based cleanser, or offer a choice between the two? The lamb dish was good, but only 1 tiny lambpop? For the price, was expecting at least 2. Also, dessert course does not say “For Two” in the title, but only came with 1 plate, to share. A bit deceptive, as the oyster platter did say “For Two” and came out as a single plate, which was expected and fine. Overall, ingredients were fresh and superb, but cooking technique, taste, and portion sizes were quite lacking. Definitely a very poor value for the price of this Valentine’s preset menu. Total bill was $350 for a dinner for two, with 1 cocktail and 2 beers. Blue Water does it better for less money.

    It was all good the food good the waiter was great , my only complaint was we ordered a bc cheese plate and the food runner that ran it seemed to busy to walk around and serve it at our table we are at seat where my lady was at a booth me chair and beside booth there’s a little opening between the wall and her booth where he squeezed through and passed her our cheese platter. I’m not picky and really laid back but seems like when paying over 20 bucks for some olives and cheese the could bring all the way to table. Seemed lazy , every other aspect was great though.

    We were looking forward to this dinner. The appetizer and desert were good but the bouillabaisse was not good. We were told we would have to pay $59 a seat if we cancelled with less than 48 hours even though the restaurant was half empty. Rock music did not add to the atmosphere.
