Overall, the food was enjoyable, but the service was lacking. When I informed our waitress that the beer tasted like soap, she questioned that, and said all the glasses are washed in the same dishwasher, she did replace it, but unfortunately the second beer still had the same issue. Instead of offering to change the glass, the waitress insisted that it was the beer itself causing the issue. This left me with a soapy-tasting beer, which was disappointing likely effecting the taste of my meal.

The menu has something for everyone. Very delicious. With being so close to the road didn't get alot of road noise. And it was nice to walk down by the water after our meal.

Shared a magnificent pear-and-greens salad; finest salad in all my 71 years; second round: chicken "sammy" and Italian burger both were delightful; artful complimentary dessert to celebrate an anniversary. Beautiful setting inside; great service; more than value for the entire experience.

Very pricey and server not very attentive Was there for 16 birthday and they did not acknowledge until end and brought dessert that we did not want. Fully willing to pay for dessert we wanted. Coffee did not come with cream or sugar. First time there and not planning on returning. Mains were great.

Fabulous food and amazing service. We both had the Lobster rolls and Caesar Salad. The lobster rolls were very flavourful, definitely some spice and should be mentioned on the menu, but we really enjoyed it. The salad is the best.. simply the best Caesar salad ever! Our server was fabulous, she brought us a dessert because of a special occasion. We always enjoy our meals at The Puddycomb and will continue to visit for special occasions.

Beautiful location. We had one of the private gazebos which was a lovely surprise. Food was delicious and the portion sizes were quite good. The pickled peach salad and shrimp creste di gallo pasta dish, in particular, were amazing and the creme brulée was a perfect texture. All in all a fantastic experience. Would highly recommend for a special lunch or dinner out.

We had a very delicious meal - well prepared. We always like the atmosphere at Puddicombe House restaurant. We do not like roadhouses or chain restaurants because they are too noisy. The waitresses at Puddicombe are very polite and accomodating.

Puddecombe is a beautiful setting for lunch or dinner. The menu has variety and the food is outstanding. Our server was extremely friendly and attentive, while allowing us to enjoy our time without feeling rushed. This was my third visit and once again was not disappointed. Will definitely be back.

Came for birthday celebrations on the weekend. The staff were really nice, food was delicious and they even brought us a couple of birthday desserts on the house. Very kind and very tasty. Will be back! Thank you Puddicome House!
