I'm always a fan of dining at Pukka's! Incredible dishes packed full of flavour from start to finish, and a great way to explore Indian cuisine outside of curries and biryanis (which are all delicious too by the way!) The finesse of Pukka's plates never cease to impress me, and those wary about spice (not me, but I get it) will realize that you can have incredible, authentic dishes without obliterating your palate. They also boast an impressive wine list, to showcase just how well Indian food pairs with wine!

I called three times previously to confirm and request a corner table in the "quiet corner". After these three calls, I was assured of the right table, only to find that they seated us in the corner right next to the serving bar, which was not very quiet or private. That was disappointing. I guess I needed to make a fourth call! Other than that, the food was quite delicious. Waitress was not overly friendly and looked grumpy but we all have bad days, I guess.

A really delicious and inventive take on Indian cuisine, but it’s pricey. That said, the portions are generous and in all likelihood, there will be leftovers to eat the next day! A wonderful place for a celebratory meal.

A dear friend from Vancouver Island came to visit. He wanted to eat some Indian food. So, we took him to Pukka. He loved it, as did we. The service, the room, and the food. And the plates were an added bonus. Thank you for giving him a memorable evening before going home.

Top 10 restaurants in Toronto for me. Boatman’s curry, chaat, short ribs and daal are delicious and the butter chicken is always reliable. Enjoy.

We researched the best indian restaurants in Toronto and Pukka was at the top of the list - and let me tell you it did not disappoint. The Samosa’s were light and fluffy, the chutneys delightful, the pakora and okra fries were an unexpected hit and then came the mains! The Butter chicken and dahl made the 40 minute drive worth it with some saying - “this is the best Indian food I’ve ever had.” Then came the sticky toffee pudding - at this point the ladies were nearly singing - “like love in the morning” they said! Tony made us feel at home from the moment that we walked in. He helped us customize the experience just for us - we ended up with just with just enough and each person got what they wanted. A great night and well worth the visit. Don’t think, just book it.

Always a a great experience. The food is always the same and tastes fantastic. The consistency provided at every visit is so refreshing. The service is always top notch and attention there is particular attention to details. You can tell that everyone works as a team instead of each person having to wait for their own server.

We really enjoyed our meal at Pukka. The service was outstanding. The staff were all outgoing and welcoming. They are a true team. Our order arrived promptly. All members of staff delivered our dishes and cleared up. We work in the service industry and have never experienced the operational excellence provided by the staff at Pukka. Kudos.

We had a special small family reunion dinner last night and was absolutely blown away by the food and service at Pukka. It was a last minute choice to take family from the UK for Indian - and was so happy to be treated to such a delicious and modern take. Will have to return to explore the wine more - was hard to choose but the cocktails and beers were outstanding. Thanks to a wonderfully attentive staff - sincere gratitude for the desert selection it was a lovely touch. Can't wait to return!

Loved your Dal and vegetable medley. The portions were large enough to have take-home for another meal for two. Thank you! Good value as well. A tad too noisy from the street. Q: why is dark chicken meat not a choice in Indian dishes? Lovely food. Vegetables in curry were generous and crisp. Poppadoms were creatively presented in cones and chutney was delicious. Plain naan was crispy and not greasy. This is a high quality restaurant that is well worth the trip. We will be back!

Very nice Indian food, pleasant people and atmosphere! We chose out of the menu the cauliflower as appetizer, outstanding! The eggplant tartar was also good! For main dishes we had the prawns in a curry sauce and the lamb shank, both delicious! For dessert I had the vegan gelato, the chocolate was very creamy and I could not tell it was vegan. The manager was also very gracious when we were 15min late d/t traffic.

Six of us spent an enjoyable Saturday evening at Pukka on their patio, in favorable weather. Being hard of hearing, I struggle with conflicting noise levels, but the outside ambience that night was perfect. Seated in the middle of the table Pukka set up for us, I could readily join in the conversation. The 6 Summerlicious dinners were delicious and the service and general hospitality impeccable. Pukka is a topnotch Indian restaurant on St Clair West. We have enjoyed similar occasions before both inside and on their summer patio and hope to do so again.

Absolutely amazing dining experience! We had heard good things about Pukka, but were not prepared for how exceptional the food was. Definitely the best Indian food we've had and in the top 3 restaurants that we've eaten at. Truly enjoyed the whole dining experience that the staff at Pukka provided. Looking forward to dining here again.

Dereck met us with smile and warm greeting. Tony was attentive, suggestive of menu choices always knowing when and possibly what we needed. He has a great sense of humour, very personable. Now the great summerlicious balances of unexpected tastes and textures BUT all amazing. We all had a fantastic time - very memorable.
