Love this restaurant the vibe, seating area, there is a huge bar perfect for drinks and trying the various oysters.The selection of appetizers and mains are really good. We have tried almost every appetizer which is something we enjoy instead of getting mains which are really good as well. A good cocktail and wine selection. The service is always exceptional, the Chef is very accommodating 10/10. It's perfect for a bunch of friends or a date night!

Dined with our adult kids late afternoon. Food, though a tad expensive, was excellent, plentiful and well presented. Service and ambience at that time of day were perfect. I will return. Thank you for contributing to our holiday experience.

The food was excellent- crab poutine, east coast Canadian oysters, tuna tartare. Very good Caesar’s. Our server was personable and nice and everything but was constantly forgetting to bring things- plates to share appetizers and refill water. We finally just got another member of the waitstaff to refill water and bring plates. It was not busy. But, with a few little missed things, we still had a wonderful afternoon. It was an excellent time.

Food was delicious as always. A bit expensive for the portion sizes but not too unreasonable. My biggest issue was the host/front of house staff. Not accommodating or friendly at all. We’re unable to find our reservation even when I showed them the confirmation email. The man didn’t really seem like he knew what he was doing yet he assumed it was my fault the reservation wasn’t showing up. Really set the night off on a weird tone.

The service and ambience is really good. However, I think like there is an improvement on meun. It would be appreciated if variety of food provided. And after ordering a jerk chicken sandwich, I realise it comes with fresh fries which I’ve ordered for appetiser. Maybe can highlight there is side dish come with a main. Overall, it’s a great restaurant and I’m willing to visit in a short time.

Our server was great but the hostesses left a lot to be desired, the ramen was great and so were the oysters but don't ordered the lobster mash.

Overall good. Our waiter was swamped with too many tables yet was outstanding. Our appetizers never arrived so we chose with our mains to ask for only one of them to be sent. The restaurant is a bit run down in appearance and our back booth was a view of waiter station and washrooms. The food was excellent.

Went to Pure Spirits for team building dinner and ended up leaving for another venue for dinner as it took 35 minutes just to get a first round of drinks for 6 people, after waiting an additional 15 minutes just to get water. We were in a corner by the door, so we thought we sort of got forgotten about. Server was great and polite and restaurant seemed like a nice venue, but unfortunately the timeliness of service was a huge issue.

We always love this place - friendly welcoming service - nice ambience - food pretty good. One blight is the Oysters Rockefeller - they were $26 for 6 and were the size od dimes!

Food was delicious and service super friendly! Prices are a bit high for some things, my 8oz wine $22 or the Ramen bowl $36... However, it was a lovely evening so we would return for a special occasion.

As always, the service at Pure Spirits was friendly and professional, and the food was delicious. The server went out of his way to ensure that we were happy and we had a lovely lunch. One of my favourite places to share a meal with friends and family on a special occasion.

Always a wonderful experience to dine in the Distillery District. I had not been to Pure Spirits in about 7 or 8 years. The food was fantastic, oysters delicious. It wasn't quite the same vibe it used to be. Seemed a little dead and the wait staff seemed kind of bored. Prices seemed pretty good for the food quality but the drinks were pricey, but I think that's everywhere in Toronto these days. Would go back for the food, oysters and Distillery District beauty.

Trout for 2 is their signature dish according to the waiter. We ordered it and thought there was enough for 3 people. Other dishes were also good especially the calamari tempura. Service was quick and friendly. Overall a good place for a meal , we enjoyed it.

Pure Spirits is a must in the Distillery District - after multiple visits it is an easy choice to recommend. Great menu choices - these have been updated since last we came and there are some nice options for all kinds of diners! Service was excellent and quick - food arrived beautifully presented and was very tasty. My colleagues were super pleased we had picked this spot to go to during our conference. A hint as to the appetizers and sharing....order more, the sizes are not overly shareable once you are more than 4 at a table.

First time there. We had an early 6:30 reservation. We’re seated near back indoors. The bartender came to take our drink order and appetizer. Then disappeared as it started to get busier. We flagged down someone else who was courteous and helpful but was in a different section but was nice to take care of us as best he could. Waited 20 minutes after plates cleared and we decided to flag down anyone who could get us our bill so we could leave. Disappointing given how quiet it was yet still lack of organization.
