A neighborhood gem! This family-run Italian restaurant offers a chic, rustic atmosphere in a downtown Austin landmark historic 1876 building. Enjoy outdoor sidewalk cafe dining just steps from the Texas State Capitol (dog friendly).
We feature a wide variety of authentic Italian pastas, pizza, meats, seafood & unique daily specials. (GF and Veg options). Daily specials highlight the freshest and most seasonal offerings, such as Rigatoni Alla Norcina (sausage with truffle oil), house-made Gnocchi Sorrentina, and Whole Roasted Fish. Gelato, sorbets and desserts are delicious and made in-house.

Such a fun place to grab a meal. The appetizers were my favorite - Burrata and Prosciutto, Arancini, and homemade bread. Delish. Can’t wait to stop by again.

I have lived in Austin my whole life and so happy we found this place. Wait staff was amazing and they all work together so well. We order family style and the food was amazing. We had a great time. We recommend !

Chicken in Marsala dish was totally overcooked. Difficult to cut and not particularly flavorful. Accompanying side of veggies we're great. Pasta bolognese also meh. Pasta did not taste nor appear to be homemade. Server was friendly and engaging.

Waitress helped us decide between the gnocchi and the carbonara. We went for the carbonara, four maggi pizza, caesar salad, and bruschetta. Ended our meal with a decaf affagatto. Everything was fabulous!!

Business dinner with two colleagues and all of us agreed Quattro Gatti's was outstanding. One colleague is a vegan and was pleased to have options. We each chose a different entree and all of us agreed: "best pasta ever". Excellent wine selections. Typically do not do dessert but we were tempted by the vanilla gelato with espresso poured over.... consensus: "don't skip dessert - it was worth every calorie!"

I looked at the reviews before making the reservation and the majority of the reviews were positive and so I booked it . The pizza we had was amazing as well as the dessert. The manager/owner came to our table twice to make sure everything was to our liking and I replied the food was delicious and excellent service. I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant in Austin.

The pizza dough was the best I have had in a very long time and the pasta was homemade. The meat sauce on the pasta was as good as any. This chef knows Italian food. I would recommend it.

We had a white pizza and red pizza, and they were both good. We also had the meatball appetizer and beat salad, also very good. And, we had one pasta dish and that also was very good. The portions are good but not huge. The prices are a bit high for a pizza restaurant, but the quality makes up for it. The service is very attentive.

Overall, just very disappointing. Definitely overpriced for what it is. I never mind paying for great food (frequent guest of Red Ash and Truluck’s) but when a mushroom pizza is $22.50 and only comes with sliced white button mushrooms…that’s a letdown. Just seemed like there was no heart behind the food. Several other disappointing points throughout the entire experience. Left really regretting going. Bummer. Austin has so many great options. Unfortunately, this isn’t one. As someone in F&B, I don’t write bad reviews unless they are really warranted because they can be damaging to the business. However, I really think this place needs a major wake-up call. Hope this helps.

This place is a gem among Austin's Italian restaurants. Always on top of their game, the specials are refined and delicious, but don't forget the regular menu. From that I'm partial to gnocchi, and if course pizza. A few nice grappa are in stock as well.

Haven’t been to this place in years. Wonderful they have survived Austin’s ups and downs. Way above average pizza from wood fired oven. Great tender plate of meatballs in a chunky marinara that had a silky taste. I stupidly did not order their in house bread to sop up the sauce. Standards still high here. As good as I remember!

I had a lovely birthday dinner here. I am so so glad I booked, the staff were lovely. Perfect speed of service, not too rushed but never left waiting. The food was gorgeous, especially the tomato bruschetta and I am so happy I chose to eat here. The atmosphere was great, especially for a Tuesday!
