This isn’t a real restaurant, but a lobby patio. I booked a reso for a date thinking it was a real restaurant but it was not. No hostess, no waiters to help you. The place was completely empty. We were very confused. I don’t understand why this place is on opentable. We had to go across the lot to another restaurant for dinner. Disappointing.
Wish they just played better music
GREAT service and food
Really good food. The potatoes dauphnoise were some of the best potatoes I've ever had in my life. Steak was pretty good, only complaint was I ordered medium rare and it came medium. The panna cotta desert eas delicious and so was the chorizo stuffed dates appetizer. Server was very nice and pleasant, and the ambiance was great. Great place to eat. Affordable too.
Amazing patio and great food and service
Helen, our hostess was great. Lively, cheerful and addressing our special food request including allergens.
Chef personally delivered and food was just fresh, authentic and delicious!
In the wake of lifted restrictions we made a reservation here. It was good to be seated outdoors. The service was carried out very well and the our drinks arrived quick. We really enjoyed the selection of drinks and a couple of small plates. We did also get the Steak which was only okay and a decent Blackened Cod.
We did enjoy the service, the drinks were good, and if we were to go again we would opt for more variety in appetizers.
As a guest of the hotel, I had dinner here with my husband one evening and ordered lunch for takeout two days in a row. The staff is friendly and accommodating and helpful. Our dinners were good. There was a problem with mine to begin with, but it was taken away, another prepared and it was comped. It was also delicious. Who can ask for more than that? I left very pleased. My lunch both days was great. Excellent club sandwich with delicious moist, fresh turkey one day and the next day the absolutely lovely lady who works lunch suggested the Irish grilled cheese. Corn beef is done in house. It was wonderful. It’s nice to have good in-house food. I rated the ambiance a bit low, because it is right off a corridor and feels a bit like a restaurant in the international terminal at an airport.
This a great place to eat. We were blown away with the seafood chowder and our mains of shrimp and lobster risotto and chicken breast were delicious. Not hotel food.
Had a lovely Christmas eve lunch @ Quest my friend had a Chicken BLT & I had the Romesco Chicken Breast Sandwich. We had a nice discussion while having a glass of wine, they have good options by the glass. We had great service & were able to catch up. Will try Quest again.
The atmosphere was quite good, quite enough to have a conversation without yelling.
For us, Quest is a “must stop” when we travel to Toronto. We have tried several dishes, and the chefs do not disappoint. When we are weary from traveling, we can be assured that Quest will deliver a satisfying meal every time.
The restaurant took a reservation as a open table restaurant, but refused to accept a OpenTable dinning reward cheque even after talking to management. This was an important event in my life with family before a wedding and it was very disappointing that they took a reservation as an open table restaurant but refused to honour the rewards program.
The service was fantastic. Lots attention to timing of food and drinks. Highly recommended
We ate from the Valentine's Day menu and the food was very good, I took my leftovers home and had them the next night. I'd go back for the braised ribs, they were delicious.
Meals are delicious and good portion.
My family and I wanted to treat my mother in law who is somewhat disabled for a nice meal on the New Year's Day. I searched the web for opened restaurants that day and found the Quest Restaurant & Bar opened and accepted our reservation. This was in the Hilton Hotel on Argentia and Mississauga Road, which used to be the Delta Hotel. Not only the day was bright and sunny, but the food quality was great, the location of the restaurants was very convenient from the entrance of the hotel, the arm chairs were very comfortable and above all our waitress, Jessica, was second to none in her service, pleasant approach, patience, warmth and passion about her job. She was so great we felt as if we were dealing with a family member. She bonded quickly with every one in our group and made our day. The sun was shining outside but she made it shining inside too. Next time, I will ask when she is on shift to book my table to be served by her. I travelled most of Europe, Asia and Africa on business for the last 20 years and have never experienced such an excellent service as that of Jessica.
Our party of five for dinner each ordered a different dish and all were delighted with the universal quality of the meals. All were delicious and well presented. The service topped off an enjoyable experience.
For a hotel restaurant the food and service was above expectation. We went there for brunch with a party of 25 and they fully accommodated. The breakfast buffet was yummy and lots of options.
The seating and ambience is perfect.
Thanks for a great time
We were put in a separate area which helped greatly with the noise level. A good range of food options, well prepared and reasonably priced.
One thing this place needed was better signage. From the outside I found the restaurant difficult to find and even once I went inside the Hilton hotel that this restaurant is situated in, there was no conspicuous signage to guide me. (Once I was close there was a small sign, not visible from the hotel entrance) Other than that though, Quest exceeded my expectations!
My friend and I dined on a Monday afternoon so the place was pretty quiet. The decor is nice, welcoming and up to date and the whole place looked very clean.
Most importantly, the food was delicious! We ordered the calamari which was served with a lovely jalapeño aioli. The calamari was perfectly cooked, crispy and tender. We also split the haddock and chips. The fish was also perfectly cooked, great batter and fresh fish if just a touch under seasoned. Overall had a great experience, would love to check out their dinner menu and drinks.
