The food and service were very good, and you can beat the location ifyou staying at the Sheraton. The steak was perfectly cooked and flavorful, the veggies were tender-crisp.The lamb was well seasoned and flavorful. Reasonably priced too!
I was disappointed in the food quality. I expected more.
Food was just ok. They ran out of garlic mashed potatoes at 7:30 pm. Offered us substitutes of baked or broiled potatoes.... obviously there were potatoes but nobody wanted to mash them :)
Where we were initially seated was very narrow and seat sloped to one side. Tool a long time for food to be served, seemingly there was a large party who ordered before us
We were a party of 6 and experienced great service. The food was very good with our steaks cooked exactly as requested (med rare). The wine selection offered us sufficient variety and at reasonable prices.
The ambiance was nice. A quiet place to dine to start an evening out. The salmon and the lamb shank were tasty. The charcuterie board was a bit disappointing. The cold cuts were not separated and the bread with the board was a jawbreaker. The waitress was kind enough to bring softer bread. There was a good serving of vegetables with the meal but they were undercooked. Tender crisp requires more cooking time. The service was exemplary.
The dining room was too noisy due to the noise coming from the bar! Suggest that doors be added to reduce the noise coming from the bar.
Steak was cooked perfectly.
Server did a great job and remembered us 3 days later including our orders.
Food was delicious. We were not rushed but our apppitizer and salads came out all at once. Very nice chicutorie platter and the Cesaer salad was amazing. Our prime rib was so tender we could cut it with our fork.
Food was cold, we had to wait for one meal while everyone else had there’s for about 10-15 minutes. The chicken was so dry and tasted awful. Won’t go back.
Our first time dining there and we will be back. Menu selection was excellent.
Food wasn’t overall tasty however steak cooked perfectly medium. Waitress very friendly.
service seemed a little chaotic
upon arrival i gave my reservation name and the hostess said she'd go and check if our table was ready ... and never returned
a waitress ended up giving us a table
Amazing food and great service!
Celebrating our anniversary. The food was excellent
Awesome! Great start to our night. Great food and wine. Ambience was fantastic. Server enquired if we were attending a play, game or concert. Very mindful of our time.
Definitely will go back next time we are in town
The food and service were good. However the noise level was almost intolerable. There was a table behind the partition beside us which contained a group of people trying to over shout eac other. When we commented to our waitress she apologized but said that they were running “a thousand dollar bill”. We inferred from this that if we did not like it, we could leave.
Great Location. Service was excellent. My medium rare steak was good but was a little cold.
My daughter & I recently ate at Quinn's Steakhouse. She ordered the Neptune Steak (one of that day's specials) and I ordered the Flat Iron Steak, both were delicious and done to perfection, as were the accompanying side dishes! The presentation of the meals was amazing and the service was very attentive but not rushed. The drinks we ordered were also delicious. The atmosphere and decor gave a very comfortable and relaxed feeling. We highly recommend dining at Quinn's!
Great filet. Amazing baked potato. Great value. Terrific service.
Average tasting food with below average service. The ambiance was very nice and the location is excellent. The Keg has better tasting steaks.
Yummy ! Great discount & location for mirvish show goers!
HI. The only small snag was the timing of the wine. We had to ask for the wine menu and it took some time to receive it so we were part way through our entree when the wine arrived. Not a big deal but get the wine earlier would've made it perfect. The food was tasty although I wished the garlic mashed potatoes had some more garlic in them. Thanks for a nice meal.
Good ambience with a steady stream of clients. Table was small and the restaurant bussling - definitely not a quite romantic dinner. Server was excellent. Food very good although my spouse should have ordered beef tenderloin as she didn't enjoy her surf and turf as much as I did. Definitely would come back as good value for money. Next time I would ask for a more remote table.
Our waitress, Brianna, was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was delicious, and very prompt.
We would definitely go again!
Was an overall great dining experience. Delicious food, amazing waitress.
Thought the food was excellent. Great hostess work and bartender !
Server should speak up. Very difficult to hear him on multiple occasions.
Friendly and courteous server, but a bit slow service. Average food, my Wagyu steak was over cooked (half the steak was). Overall average experience. I expected a bit more.
Very good cuisine and menu. Service is always top drawer!
Staff are exceptionally helpful and the food tastes amazing! Steak was cooked to perfection and nothing was ever a problem!
Visiting from out of town.
Service was minimal and when Our meal was served- there was no follow up until
the bill. Disappointing as missing sauce order. Could even see anyone to ask.
Decor needs cleaning up ( ceiling tiles)
Food was good overall
Food was excellent, though the server didn't box my food as requested, so had half a meal thrown away.
The portabello mushroom dish had a portabello the size of a jam lid. It was supposed to be stuffed with goat cheese. The goat cheese was a spoon full ladled on top. The mushroom was black. I guess grilling something that small must have discolored it, or it had been in the fridge for days. Gross. The desert (pecan pie) was straight out of a Walmart freezer. The waiter took forever to bring the check.
I have been coming here for steaks for years, at least once a month if not more often. If I am in the mood for a hearty meal (and girth permitted of course) I will go for the 14 oz rib-eye. Otherwise, it is always the steak frites, medium rare, chipotle butter. I have never left unsatiated, until this visit. This time around, the flat iron steaks (plural, my friend ordered the same thing at my suggestion) were dry, tough and chewy. My friend's cut, in particular, had a lot of tendons. Even the fries, which are usually golden on the outside with fluffy potato meat inside, so sinful after soaking up all that steak juice, were dry, dark, shriveled and tasted like they had been repeatedly fried in recycled oil. We didn't report this to the waiter (who was never in sight to begin with) because we were pressed for time.
For the first time in 5-6 years, I didn't leave with a happy heart and a full stomach. And I knew I would have a hard time convincing my friend to trust my recommendations again. This might be an isolated slip-up but given that both orders were in same bad shape, I am hesitant to return and give the restaurant a chance to redeem itself.
We enjoyed our dinner at Quinn’s, service and ambience were enjoyable. Food was all delicious, and steaks were well prepared, however they were rather “lean” ie low marbling so not as flavorful as they could be. Still very good and we would recommend Quinn’s for a nice steak dinner
Was expecting a higher end steak house. Place is older but nice. Biggest problem we had was there were a bunch of very young children going ape s:&)t so we asked to be moved. Moved us about 20 feet further still a zoo. What is The matter with some parents. Spoiled our dinner. They treated this like a play area and parents did absolutely nothing. I guess the manager can’t say anything so not to lose business. Sadly will I go back no.
We had to endure 20mins of a fire alarm test during our meal. I daresay it was beyond your control but I would have thought that the negative impact on your customers would have been worth a small gesture on your part to off set the annoyance. Regardless of the cause, it made a negative impression on our experience which attaches to the restaurant. I'm there 2 or 3 times a month and we were about to get up and leave after one drink.
Came for the Prime RIb, which was sold out (and understandable).
Had the Crispy Fish Appetizer, which was over cooked.... a lot.
We had the Ribeye and Surf & turf as entrees, which were very good.
We came to celebrate 2 birthdays. The meal was great. My friend ordered off the Prix Fixe menu. She really enjoyed the Wild Mushroom Chicken. I ordered off the regular menu and got the AAA Alberta centre cut, New York Striploin 12 oz. The striploin was cooked perfectly to my liking (medium rare), was tender and flavourful. The service was also great. Our server was attentive and came to check on us at all the perfect times.
Will come back again!
My wife, my daughter and myself had a very pleasant dinner at Quinn's recently. The staff and food were great and the price was very good. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
